Let them be little

Bonjour!

Hi!

I am back today with a brand new page centered on a picture from last weekend while the girls (and their dad) were playing in a park.

Before getting started, I had no precise idea of what I was going to do. I just wanted to use this picture and this background paper. As I think the Pinkfresh Studio Happy Things and Crate Paper Wonder collections go nicely together, I decided to mix them on this page. It all came together pretty quickly and I'm really happy with how it turned out. I just love crafting with black and white pics: they make the paper and embellishments selection a lot easier!

Matériel / supplies:
- papiers / papers: Crate Paper (Wonder), Pinkfresh Studio (Happy Things).
- embellissements / embellishments: ephemera (Crate Paper-Wonder), autocollants / stickers (Crate Paper-Wonder, Pinkfresh Studio-Happy Things), noeud / bow (Crate Paper-Maggie Holmes), découpe en plastique / acetate die cut (Crate Paper-Maggie Holmes Confetti), stylo noir / black pen.

Merci beaucoup d'être passé! Thanks so much for coming by today! :)

Shine

Bonjour!

Hello!

I hope you are having a great weekend so far. :)

I managed to find some time to craft the last few days and I'm back today with a new layout to share with you. I looked again at the pictures of our trip to California and I went for these photos I snapped at the Walk of Fame in Hollywood.

To echo the stars on this famous sidewalk, I stitched the pics with squares of paper so as to make stars. I also made stains with black and gold ink and I placed white thread that I sprinkled with sequins under the photos to make the page look even more shiny.

Matériel / supplies:
- papiers / papers: American Crafts, My Mind's Eye (Fancy That, On Trend).
- embellissements / embellishments: lettres autocollantes / alpha stickers (My Mind's Eye-On Trend), autocollants / stickers (Crate Paper-Wonder), encre / ink (Izink Pigment Caviar & Gold), sequins, fil / thread.

Merci de votre visite et à bientôt!
Thank you for looking. Bye for now!

Je t'adore

Bonjour!

Hello!

Seems like I've been very inspired lately since I'm already back today with a new page. I used pictures from a few days ago while my eldest daughter was doing her homework. I know, I'm a naughty mom disturbing her girl when she's being serious but she managed to finish her homework in the end!

To make this layout, I played with my crafting scissors, a bit of gesso, a stamp, some ink and a few embellies (stickers, flowers, die cuts and a flair). I like using vanilla cardstock for the background as it's light and I can add gesso on it contrary to white cardstock that I can't get perfectly white on pictures...

Matériel / supplies:
- papiers / papers: Bazzil, My Mind's Eye (Collectable Unforgettable, Cut & Paste Presh, Just Sayin, Market Street Ashbury Heights).
- embellissements / embellishments: thickers (American Crafts), chipboard & die cuts (My Mind's Eye-Market Street Ashbury Heights), enamel dots & badge / flair (My Mind's Eye-On Trend), fleurs / flowers (Petaloo), mots autocollants / word stickers (My Mind's Eye-The Sweetest Thing Honey), cœurs autocollants / heart stickers (Seven Paper-Amelia), tampon / stamp (Zenatytude), encre / ink (Versafine Smokey Gray), gesso.

Merci d'être passé par mon blog! Thanks a lot for coming by today! :)

Oh yeah!

Bonjour!

Hi there!

To finish off the week, I have a new page to share with you using a picture of my lovely little rider in a park this summer.

I was inspired by the Happy Words sheet from the Happy Things collection by Pinkfresh Studio. I cut it in two and placed one half on the right side of the page. I also fussycut two other bits from the sheet and used them on the left side along with some stitching, inking and stamping.

There's a playful and dreamy feel to this layout that I really like. What about you? How do you feel about this page? I'd love to know!

Matériel / supplies:
- papiers / papers: American Crafts, Crate Paper (Wonder), Pinkfresh Studio (Happy Things).
- embellissements / embellishments: autocollants / stickers (Pinkfresh Studio-Happy Things), dots en bois / wooden dots (Pinkfresh Studio-Up in the Clouds), cœurs en feutrine / felt hearts (Crate Paper-Wonder), découpe en papier / die cut (My Mind's Eye-Jubilee Mint Julep), napperon / doily, tampons / stamps (Kesi'Art), encre / ink (Versafine Onyx Black), encre en spray / spray ink, fil / thread.

Merci beaucoup de votre visite. Bon dimanche à vous!

Back to school

Bonjour!

Hello!

I am back today with a new page centered on pictures of the girls ready for their first day of school two weeks ago.

I played again with the lovely and playful Wonder collection by Crate Paper. I cut the letters and the strips of paper at the bottom and at the top of the page from sheets of the 6x6 pad. I also used some stickers and a couple of die cuts from the ephemera pack.

In the end, I really like the contrast between, on the one hand, the black ink stains and the photos with their hushed colors (thanks to a filter I added using Pixlr-o-matic) and, on the other hand, the vintage patterns and soft colors of the papers.

Matériel / supplies:
- papiers / papers: American Crafts, Crate Paper (Wonder).
- embellissements / embellishments: autocollants & découpes en papier / stickers and die cuts (Crate Paper-Wonder), encre / ink (Izink Pigment Caviar).

Merci beaucoup d'être passé. Bonne journée à vous!

Hello sweetheart

Bonjour!

Hi there!

To start off this new week, I have a summery layout to share with you, with lots of ink, stickers, stamping and stitching. To make it, I used some goodies from the August kit by Scrap Kits & Co as well as a picture of my eldest daughter in the pool of a playground we went to several times this summer.

I added a couple of fun details to the page with, for instance, the sun I made with a square of patterned vellum I cut diagonally to get four triangles that I joined using a brad. Under the photo, I cut some slits in the patterned paper using a precision craft cutter and I inserted a strip of the Summer Sun Whales paper by Fancy Pants. Now these lovely whales can swim freely!

Matériel / supplies:
- papiers / papers: Basic Grey (Barista), Bazzill, Fancy Pants (Summer Sun), Pink Paislee (Citrus Bliss).
- embellissements / embellishments: thickers (American Crafts), autocollants / stickers (Crate Paper-Wonder; Seven Paper-Amelia & Baxter), brad (Teresa Collins-Wanderlust), tampons / stamps (American Crafts, October Afternoon, Technique Tuesday), encre / ink (Izink Pigment Gold, Versafine Onyx Black), encre en spray / spray ink, fil / thread, stylo noir / black pen.

Merci d'être passé et à bientôt!

Enjoy today

Bonjour!

Hi!

I am stopping by today to share a bright and colorful birthday card with you.

I started with making the basis for the card using two sheets of the CP Wonder 6x6 pad. I trimmed one of the sheets smaller than the other one. I then used my corner punch on both sheets and folded them in half. After gluing the smallest sheet on top of the other one, I added a frame, felt hearts that I adorned with wooden dots and the sentiment using a word sticker that I cut to make a banner. The stains I made with black ink at the bottom and at the top of the card bring the finishing touch.

Matériel / supplies:
- papiers / papers: Crate Paper (Wonder).
- embellissements / embellishments: cœurs en feutrine / felt hearts (Crate Paper-Wonder), dots en bois / wooden dots (Pinkfresh Studio-Up in the Clouds), cadre / frame (Simple Stories-I Am), autocollant / sticker (Bella Blvd-Bell Pepper), encre / ink (Izink Pigment Caviar).

Merci de votre visite et à bientôt!
Glad you came by today. Bye for now!

Dream a little dream of me

Bonjour!

Hello!

I hope you had a great week so far. Well, I did since I received some new scrap supplies yesterday and I just had to play with them straightaway!

To create this layout, I started with making stains using black and gold ink on the white cardstock. Once dry, I placed two sheets coming from the Crate Paper Wonder 6x6 pad in the middle of the page so as to make a star. Then, I trimmed another piece of paper to back the photo and I placed it on top of the paper star.

Once again, I've been inspired by music as I used lyrics from 'Dream a Little Dream of Me': I thought they would go nicely with this pic of my little one sleeping in the car. After typing and printing some of the lyrics, I placed the strips of paper around the photo and replaced the missing words with puffy stickers (by Pinkfresh Studio and Seven Paper), die cuts and a wood veneer piece.

This layout came together quickly and easily and I just love when it goes smoothly like this! Plus, I'm really happy with the result: I think it's dreamy and soft. To make the page look lighter, I glued the papers only in the middle and I curved the edges a little bit.

Matériel / supplies:
- papiers / papers: American Crafts, Crate Paper (Wonder).

Love these moments

Bonjour!

Hi there!

I am back today to share a new page with you. It is based on a picture I snapped two weeks ago during a stroll by the water.

As I ran out of cardstock, I only used patterned papers to create this layout. The left side is centered on words with a mix of thickers, chipboard and rub-on while patterns and embellishments are gathered on the right side.To make the tag, I cut the upper corners of a die cut (coming from the MME Market Street Ahsbury Heights mixed bag), stitched along the edges with white thread, made a hole with a hole-puncher and added a bow that I made using a bit of ribbon.

Matériel / supplies:
- papiers / papers: Fancy Pants (Office Suite), My Mind's Eye (Cut & Paste Presh, Market Street Ashbury Heights), calque / vellum.
- embellissements / embellishments: thickers (American Crafts), chipboard (Crate Paper-Maggie Holmes Confetti), transfert / rub-on (My Mind's Eye-Jubilee Sherbet), épingle décorative / decorative pin (Crate Paper-Maggie Holmes Open Book), découpe en papier fleur et bouton / flower die-cut & button (Fancy Pants-Office Suite), découpe en papier avec citation & decorative tape / die-cut with text & decorative tape (My Mind's Eye-Market Street Ashbury Heights), enamel dots (My Mind's Eye-On Trend), ruban / ribbon (Celebrate), encre / ink (Izink Pigment Caviar), napperon / doily, fil / thread.

Merci de votre passage! Thank you for stopping by! :)
