Paper Issues Product Spotlight - Cocoa Vanilla Love Always

Bonjour!

Hello!

I am back with a new layout that I made for Paper Issues' Product Spotlight and, today, it's all about the beautiful Love Always collection by Cocoa Vanilla Studio. On my page, I used patterned papers and die-cuts from the collection as well as a picture of my eldest girl snapped last summer in Brest, France.

I started by doodling a frame on the background paper using a black pen. I layered two patterned paper strips in the center of the page and placed the photo at the top, along with pretty die-cuts: flowers, banners, a heart and an arrow.

I added the word 'love', also coming from the ephemera pack, at the bottom of the page and sprinkled a couple of butterflies as a finishing touch.

I love this soft and romantic line! You can find it in the Paper Issues store. Don't forget to use the code Elodie for 20% off your order! And head over to the Paper Issues Friends and Fans Facebook group to join the fun and share your Love Always projects!

- papiers / papers: Cocoa Vanilla Studio (Love Always).

Merci de votre attention et bonne journée!
Thank you for looking and happy Wednesday!

Today cards

Bonjour!

Hi there!

I hope your week is going well so far!

I am stopping by today to share a set of cards that I made for Feed Your Craft. I used mini flair from the 'Rainbow Hearts' pack along with the Indigo Hills collection by Pinkfresh Studio.

I used 6x6 patterned papers to make the bases for the cards. I placed a rectangle of patterned paper on top of each card and added various embellies: die-cuts, twine, stickers, a chipboard heart, thread and pretty Feed Your Craft mini flair.

Hey you - Scraplift Sunday

Bonjour!

I made a clean version and replaced the watercolors with stitching and Stacie's beautiful mixed media stars with flowers that I cut in a patterned paper. I used the Fancy Free and Take Me away lines by Paige Evans & Pink Paislee and a photo of my eldest girl in the garden last spring.

Girls just wanna have fun

Bonjour!

Hello!

I hope you're having a good week so far!

I have exciting news today: I'm sharing my first post on the Paper Issues blog! For this occasion, I made a girly page using the beautiful Fancy Free and Take Me Away lines by Paige Evans & Pink Paislee and a fun pic of me and my girls snapped a couple of weeks ago in a corn maze.

This layout uses some of my scrappy favorites: stitching, sequins and floral paper. I started by stitching a frame with white sequins on the background paper. I placed the photo in the center of the page and added lots of embellies around it: hand cut flowers, die-cuts, buttons and alpha stickers.

I made a little cluster on the photo with a paper clip, a chipboard heart and a journaling strip completing the title and I added droplets of black ink as a finishing touch. I used only a tiny bit of glue on the paper items to give more dimension to the page.

I love these two collections and I think they really work well together! They are both in the Paper Issues store, along with lots of yummy supplies. Don't forget to use the code Elodie to get 20% off your order!

Matériel / Supplies:
- papiers / papers: Pink Paislee (Paige Evans Fancy Free & Take Me Away).
- embellissements / embellishments: découpes en papiers, lettres autocollantes, boutons, chipboard & trombone / paper die-cuts, alpha stickers, buttons, chipboard & paper clip (Pink Paislee-Paige Evans Take Me Away), découpe en acétate / acetate die-cut (Pink Paislee-Paige Evans Fancy Free), encre / ink (Izink Pigment Caviar), sequins, fil / thread.

Paper Issues September Issue

Bonjour!

Hello there!

I hope you are doing well and that you had a great weekend!

I'm kicking off a new week with a layout that I made for Round 2 of the Paper Issues September Issue called 'The Unbe-leafable Great Outdoors'. Here are the themes and ideas to get you started with this new issue: use leaves as embellishments, create projects about fall, camping, hiking or back to school time.

My page is all about fall with pics from last October featuring my little one picking up dead leaves in the garden to make a bouquet. To go with these sweet photos, I used the Pink Paislee Cedar Lane collection. As the background looked quite busy with the floral paper, I went for white items: the hand cut leaves, the thickers that I painted white using gesso, the tissue paper under the pics and the frame that I stitched on the background cardstock. I also added a couple of die-cuts and chipboard hearts around the photos.

You'll find the full details along with awesome projects by the Design Team on the PI blog. And, if you want to play along and have a chance to win a $10 gift card to the Paper Issues store, you can share your projects on the Paper Issues Friends and Fans Facebook page!

Matériel / Supplies:
- papiers / papers: Bazzill, Pink Paislee (Cedar Lane).

Thanks for looking and happy Monday!

Bonjour!

Hi there!

I hope you're enjoying your weekend!

It's Scraplift Sunday on the Paper Issues Friends and Fans Facebook page! This week, we're lifting a gorgeous layout by the talented Amanda-jayne Baldwin. Here is my take, featuring the Millie & June and Office Suite lines by Fancy Pants and pics of my little one and our dog snapped in a corn maze a few weeks ago.

I replaced the kites with heart balloons, made with stickers, a die-cut and a bit of stitching, I used a Feed Your Craft mini flair badge and another sticker for the title and added strips of typed journaling.

I'm Frenchie and I know it

Bonjour!

Hello there!

Happy Friday! I hope you had a nice week!

I have a new Feed Your Craft project to share with you today. It's a colorful and fun page about my furry girl, featuring 'B/W Ampersand/And', 'Black & White Speech Bubble' and 'Kiss' mini flair as well as the Take Me Away collection by Paige Evans & Pink Paislee.

I started by drawing a Frenchie on a patterned paper using a template. I then cut it and stitched the edges. For the title, I was inspired by 'Sexy and I Know It' by LMFAO and used mini flair badges, a wood veneer piece and colorful thickers that really pop against the black background. Look at that body, she works out!

I added two paper strips at the bottom of the page and placed the photo and some embellies on either side of the paper Frenchie. I used ephemera, wood veneer, buttons, a paper clip, another little bulldog that I stamped on a piece of patterned paper and more pretty Feed Your Craft mini flair.

Matériel / Supplies:
- papiers / papers: Pink Paislee (Paige Evans Take Me Away).
- embellissements / embellishments: badges / mini flair (Feed Your Craft-B/W Ampersand/And, Black & White Speech Bubble, Kiss), ephemera, boutons, découpes en bois, nœud, trombone & thickers / ephemera, buttons, wood veneer, paper clip & thickers (Pink Paislee-Paige Evans Take Me Away), tampon / stamp (Kesi'Art), encre / ink (Versafine Onyx Black), fil / thread.

Merci de votre visite et bonne journée!

Paper Issues September Roll The Dice

Bonjour!

Hi!

I hope you are doing well!

I'm starting off the week with a 8.5x11 page that I made for a new Paper Issues challenge called Roll The Dice. Each month, the amount of pictures to use on a project, along with another scrapbooking item, will be decided by two dice. So fun!

Here is my page, featuring the Little You line by Crate Paper and pics of my eldest girl back when she was 9 months old. I cut the triangles, the clouds, the flowers and the sheep in five different patterned papers.

I tucked the pics, along with a couple of embellies, in stitched paper triangles. For the title, I used thickers that I toned down with a coat of gesso. I also stitched stars and sprinkled cute paper clouds all over the page.

Paper Issues September Pawsitively Pets

Bonjour!

Hi there!

There's a new challenge up on the Paper Issues blog today. It's called Pawsitively Pets and it's all about pets and animal-related projects. For this first challenge, you also have to use something new and something you've been hoarding.

I made a page about my eldest girl and our Frenchie and I used the Fancy Pants Millie & June line that I just got and a doe button that I've had for a little while. I placed the photo in the center of a stitched heart that I filled with little paper hearts. I adorned the pic with ephemera, added more hearts at the bottom of the page and made stains with black ink.

Head over to the Paper Issues blog for more details and beautiful inspiration from the Design Team! And, if this challenge inspires you, you can share your projects on the Paper Issues Friends and Fans Facebook page!

Paper Issues September Take 5 Tuesday

Bonjour!

Hi there!

The Take 5 Tuesday challenge is up on the Paper Issues blog today, with a list of items to be used on a project and pretty inspiration from the Design Team!

I used the Fancy Free line by Paige Evans and Pink Paislee and I picked yellow, blue, letter stickers, numbers, a border, circles, enamel dots and wood veneer. Yes, you got it right, I used more items than necessary. Only five are required really but I got carried away!

This page is all about my 9-year-old girl with pictures snapped a few days after her 9th birthday, hence the title and the circles with number stickers from 1 to 9. I played with my craft scissors for this one, cutting the flowers in papers 07 & 11 from Fancy Free and the circles in paper 03 and in the pics. I adorned the circles with paper & acetate die-cuts and stickers and added a border at the bottom of the page.

To play along with this fun challenge and have a chance to win a 10$ gift card to the Paper Issues store, you can post your projects on the Paper Issues Friends and Fans Facebook page!

Paper Issues September Sketchy Saturday

Bonjour!
