Aujourd'hui, j'ai une nouvelle page à partager avec des photos de ma petite dernière. Nous avons fait une séance photo maison le mois dernier car l'école demandait une photo d'identité et en voilà le résultat! C'est la première photo qui a été retenue... ^^

 

Un petit aperçu de la page en question avant de me lancer dans les différentes étapes de sa confection...

 

Hi!

 

Today, I have a new layout to share with pictures of my little one. Last month, the school asked for an identity photo so we had an improvised photo shoot at home and here is the result! The picture we gave to the school is the first one... ^^

 

Before getting to the different steps to make this page, here is a little peak....

 

 

 

 

 

Tout d'abord, j'ai travaillé sur le papier de fond avec des tampons et du gesso. Une fois sec, j'ai tracé deux cercles (à l'aide d'une casserole ^^) et les ai cousus avec du fil rose. J'ai laissé le reste du fil sur la page pour apporter une touche destrucuturée.

 

First, I worked on the background paper with stamps and gesso. Once dry, I drew two circles (with a saucepan ^^) and handstitched them with pink thread. I kept the remaining bits of thread on the page to give it an unstructured look.

 

 

 



 

Puis, j'ai collé mes photos sur des bandes de papier pailleté et j'ai placé ces bandes sur un autre rectangle de papier imprimé que j'ai placé au centre de la page. J'ai utilisé de la mousse 3D pour donner du volume.

 

I then glued the pictures on strips of glittery paper that I placed on a rectangle of printed paper in the middle of the page. I used foam pads to bring some volume.

 

 

 



 

Pour finir, j'ai disposé quelques embellissements ainsi que le titre (un sticker coupé en trois) près des photos et j'ai ajouté des bouts de masking tape (qui proviennent du même morceau que j'ai grossièrement coupé en diagonale) en haut et en bas de la page.

 

Finally, I placed a few embellishments and the title (a word sticker cut into three parts) around the pictures and I added bits of masking tape (from a strip I cut diagonally) at the top and at the bottom of the page.

- embellissements / embellishments: mot autocollant / word sticker & brad ( My Mind's Eye-Lost & Found Record It Heirloom), decorative tape (My Mind's Eye-Cut & Paste Adorbs), tampons / stamps (Technique Tuesday), encre / ink (Colorbox Frost White), trombone / paper clip, twine, sequins, gesso, fil / thread.

Aujourd'hui, j'ai à vous montrer une nouvelle page ainsi que les étapes de sa confection. D'abord un petit aperçu...

Hello!

Today, I am sharing a layout as well as the steps to make it. But first, a little glimpse...

J'ai d'abord travaillé le fond en étalant de la peinture acrylique dorée avec une carte de fidélité dans des coins opposés de la page. J'ai ensuite tamponné partiellement un motif texte (en utilisant un bout de papier déchiré pour délimiter les zones à tamponner) avec de l'encre blanche et j'ai réalisé des taches avec du gesso et une paille toujours sur ces mêmes zones.

First, I started with working on the background paper. I spread some gold acrylic paint on oppposite corners using an old plastic card. Then I partially stamped some text (using a torn sheet of paper to delimit the areas to be stamped) with white ink and I made some stains using gesso and a straw.





Une fois le fond sec, j'ai ajouté des bandes de masking tape, horizontalement et verticalement, dans la partie supérieure droite de la page, là où va être placée ma photo.

Once the background was dry, I added strips of decorative tape on the right upper part of the page, where the photo will be placed.



Dans ce même coin en haut à droite, j'ai collé un morceau de calque imprimé qui servira à mater ma photo.

In the same corner, I placed a piece of vellum speciality paper that will work as a mat for the picture.

Après avoir collé la photo avec de la mousse 3D, j'ai disposé les embellissements et le titre autour de la photo.

I finally added the photo using 3D foam pads and arranged the embellishments and the title around it.



Et voici le résultat / Here is the result:
