Comment allez-vous ? Ça fait un moment que je n'étais pas venue partager de nouvelles créations avec vous. J'y remédie de ce pas avec ces deux cartes réalisées avec la collection Parasol de Maggie Holmes. 

Hi there!

How are you? It's been a while since I shared a new project with you. Let me make it up to you with these two cards created with the Parasol collection by Maggie Holmes. 

Ce sont des cartes simples et rapides à réaliser. Pour la base, j'ai utilisé des feuilles du paper pad 15x20 cm pliées en deux. Je les ai surmontées d'un rectangle avec l'inscription "Love Without Limits" découpé dans un autre papier 15x20. Je les ai collés sur mes bases avec du ruban adhésif 3D pour les faire ressortir. Pour la deuxième carte, j'ai placé plusieurs bandes de papiers à motifs (celles qui servent à attacher les feuilles au bloc de papier) sur ma base pour faire comme des rayons avant de coller le rectangle par dessus. J'ai terminé en décorant chaque rectangle avec des autocollants de la collection et des demi-perles blanches.

These cards were quick and easy to make. First, I folded two papers from the 6x8 pad in half. For the sentiments, I used little cards that I cut in another 6x8 paper and that I adhered with foam tape to make them pop. I placed several patterned paper strips (using the ones that bind the 6x8 papers to the pad) on the second card so as to make rays and then I added the sentiment. To finish, I adorned the "Love Without Limits" cards with white half pearls as well as cardstock and puffy stickers from the Parasol collection.

Je suis de retour pour partager une nouvelle page réalisée avec la collection Sketchbook de Bea Valint et American Crafts.

I'm back to share a new layout using the Sketchbook collection by Bea Valint and American Crafts. 

Cette page met en scène une photo que j'ai prise il y a quelques mois d'une feuille en forme de cœur prise dans une toile d'araignée au coin de ma fenêtre. J'ai pris ça comme un petit mot d'amour de l'Univers et un rappel qu'on est sur Terre pour aimer. Pour la réalisation et le titre de ma page, je me suis inspirée de la chanson "Love Is All" de Roger Glover & Ronnie James Dio. En écho à cette feuille sur ma photo, j'ai décidé de faire une ribambelle d'embellissements en forme de cœur. Cette ronde joyeuse de découpes d'animaux, de fruits, de fleurs et de feuilles renvoie aussi au clip de la chanson. J'ai commencé par placer les embellissements de manière à former un cœur sur mon papier de fond. Avant de les coller, je les ai incurvés légèrement pour apporter du relief. Pour le titre, j'ai utilisé des Thickers qui rajoutent un peu plus de couleur à ma page. 

The star of the page is a photo snapped a few months ago of a heart-shaped leaf caught in a spider web outside my window. To me, it's like a love note from the Universe and a reminder that we are on Earth to love. I was inspired by the song "Love Is All" by Roger Glover & Ronnie James Dio for the composition and the title of my layout. To echo the leaf on the picture, I decided to create a garland of embellishments in the shape of a heart. This colourful assortment of animals, fruits, flowers and leaves is also a nod to the music video of the song. I started by placing the die cuts on the background paper so as to form a heart. Before taping them down, I curved them a little to add dimension. For the title, I used Thickers that bring even more colour to my page. 

Après avoir maté la photo avec une feuille du paper pad Sketchbook, je l'ai collée au centre du cœur avec de la mousse 3D pour la faire ressortir. Je l'ai surmontée d'un fanion et j'en ai glissé trois autres sous le côté droit. Pour finir, j'ai complété ma guirlande d'embellissements avec quelques fleurs et cœurs autocollants ainsi que des enamel dots. 

After backing the picture with a paper from the Sketchbook 6x8 pad, I adhered it in the center of the heart with foam tape to make it pop. I topped it with a banner and slipped three more of them under the right side of the photo. Finally, I completed my garland of embellishments with flower and heart stickers as well as enamel dots.

Je suis de retour pour partager un duo de cartes avec vous. Ce sont des cartes d'anniversaire que j'ai réalisées il y a un moment avec différentes collections de Paige Evans.

I'm back with a couple of cards I'd like to share with you. I made these birthday cards a little while ago using several collections by Paige Evans. 

J'ai commencé par choisir des feuilles colorées provenant de paper pads que j'ai pliées en deux pour faire la base de mes cartes. Puis, je les ai surmontées de rectangles de papier dans des tons plus neutres. Je me suis ensuite attaquée au message de mes cartes en dessinant et découpant des lettres dans des papiers à motifs de plusieurs couleurs : "happy" avec un cœur pour l'une et "treize" pour l'autre.

First, I picked colourful papers from 6x8 pads that I folded in half to create the base of my cards. I topped them with rectangles of paper in more neutral tones. I then turned to the message of my cards by drawing and cutting letters in different patterned papers: "happy" along with a heart for the first one and "treize" for the second one.

Après avoir placé les lettres sur mes cartes, je suis passée à la partie embellissement. J'ai ajouté de jolies fleurs pour remplir les espaces vides. Je les ai agrémentées de feuilles pour la première et d'insectes autocollants pour la deuxième. J'ai ajouté un autocollant avec le mot "birthday" sur la première carte pour compléter mon message et j'ai orné les lettres des deux cartes avec des puffy stickers. J'ai collé certains autocollants avec de la mousse 3D pour apporter du relief à mes cartes d'anniversaire.

After placing the letters on the cards, I got busy embellishing them. I added pretty flowers to fill up the space that was left. I adorned them with leaves for the first one and insect stickers for the second one. I topped the heart on the first card with a word sticker to complete the message and I embellished the letters on both cards with puffy stickers. I used foam tape under a few stickers to bring depth to my birthday cards.

There Is a Garden

Tout d'abord, je vous souhaite le meilleur pour cette nouvelle année. Je commence 2026 avec cette page réalisée en partie avec la collection Sketchbook de Bea Valint et inspirée par une citation de Rûmî.

Hi! 

First, I'd like to wish you the best for this new year. I'm starting 2026 with a page featuring the Sketchbook collection by Bea Valint and inspired by the poet Rûmî.

Comme je vous le disais, c'est une citation du poète Rûmî qui m'a inspirée cette page : "Somewhere beyond right and wrong, there is a garden. I will meet you there". En Français, ça donne : "Quelque part au-delà du bon et du mauvais, du vrai et du faux, du fait d'avoir raison ou tort, il y a un jardin. C'est là que je viendrai à ta rencontre". Pour moi, ce jardin est le cœur en paix. J'ai donc tracé et découpé un cœur dans un papier fleuri de la collection Whimsical de Paige Evans. J'ai ensuite cousu les bords avec de la laine bleue pour apporter de la texture et du relief et pour faire de ce cœur un cocon. J'ai voulu y représenter un beau jardin coloré. J'ai commencé par faire l'herbe en traçant et découpant des cercles dans différents papiers de teinte verte. J'ai ensuite coupé à nouveau ces cercles en deux et je les ai disposés sur la moitié inférieure du cœur en papier. J'ai ajouté quelques fleurs de l'ephemera pack Sketchbook pour agrémenter mon herbe ainsi que des lettres autocollantes de la collection Turn the Page de Paige Evans pour former le mot "peace".

As I've just said, this layout was inspired by a few lines by Rûmî: "Somewhere beyond right and wrong, there is a garden. I will meet you there". For me, this garden is the heart at peace. So I started by drawing and cutting a heart in a floral paper from the Whimsical collection by Paige Evans. I then got busy stitching the edges of my paper heart with blue wool to bring texture and depth, and also to turn that heart into a cocoon. I wanted to create a beautiful and colourful garden inside the heart. So I started with the grass by cutting circles in several green papers. I cut the circles again in half and I placed them on the bottom area of the heart. I added a couple of flowers from the Sketchbook ephemera pack and alpha stickers from the Turn the Page collection by Paige Evans to complete my paper grass.

Pour le soleil, j'ai à nouveau découpé un cercle dans un papier floral que j'ai ajusté au bord supérieur du cœur avant de le coller. Puis j'ai glissé des petites bandes de papier colorées sous le cercle pour faire les rayons. J'ai ajouté une branche de l'autre côté et mon cœur était terminé. Pour le fond de ma page, j'ai choisi un papier rose tout doux au centre duquel j'ai collé le cœur. J'ai ensuite glissé de grandes bandes de papier de différentes couleurs sous le cœur pour là aussi faire des rayons. J'ai dessiné des nuages dans une feuille du paper pad Sketchbook avant de les découper et de les coller autour du cœur. J'ai apporté la touche finale à ma page en ajoutant les mots de Rûmî, que j'ai imprimés et découpés en bandes, sur les nuages.

To make the sun, I cut another circle in a floral paper that I had to adjust to the heart's edge before sticking it. I then slipped some patterned paper strips under it to create the rays. I added a branch on the other side and my heart was complete. For the background, I picked a beautiful light pink paper in the middle of which I placed the heart. Here again, I slipped colourful paper strips under it to make rays. I drew and cut clouds in a paper from the Sketchbook 6x8 pad and adhered them around the heart. I finished my page by adding Rûmî's words, that I printed and cut in strips, on the clouds.

Non, vous ne rêvez pas : je suis déjà de retour avec un nouveau projet à vous présenter ! Il s'agit d'un duo de cartes réalisées avec plusieurs collections de Paige Evans dont Go the Scenic Route, Horizon et Wonders.

You're not dreaming: I'm already back to share a new project! It's a set of cards featuring several collections by Paige Evans, among which Go the Scenic Route, Horizon and Wonders.

Pour ces deux cartes, je suis partie sur l'idée d'un paysage avec d'un côté le ciel, de l'autre la mer et sur chacune un beau soleil rayonnant. J'ai commencé par faire la base de mes cartes avec des feuilles de paper pad pliées en deux surmontées d'un rectangle de papier à motif plus clair pour servir de fond à mes paysages. J'ai ensuite tracé et découpé des cercles parmi quelques feuilles de paper pad dans les tons bleus. J'ai coupé chaque cercle en deux et j'ai disposé les demi-cercles obtenus en rangées sur mes cartes pour réaliser le ciel et la mer. 

I wanted to create landscapes on these cards with the sky on one, the sea on the other, and a bright shining sun on both. First, I folded two 6x8 papers in half and topped them with a lighter piece of patterned paper. I drew and cut circles in a couple of blue 6x8 papers. I cut them again in half to get semi-circles that I placed in rows on each card to make the sky and the sea.

Pour les soleils, j'ai tracé et découpé deux cercles plus gros dans un autre papier à motif jaune cette fois. Je les ai collés en les insérant sous mes demi-cercles bleus et en laissant les bords sans colle pour pouvoir y glisser des bandes de papier colorées pour les rayons. J'ai complété mes soleils avec des mandalas dorés découpés dans une feuille du paper pad Wonders et des mots autocollants de la collection Wild at Heart de Cocoa Vanilla Studio. Pour terminer, j'ai ajouté un chipboard autocollant sur chaque carte : un nuage se promenant dans le ciel de la première et un voilier voguant sur les flots de la deuxième. 

For the suns, I drew and cut two bigger circles in a yellow patterned paper. I placed them under the semi-circles and slipped colorful paper strips under the edges for the rays. I adorned them with mandalas that I fussy cut in a Wonders 6x8 paper and word stickers from the Wild at Heart collection by Cocoa Vanilla Studio. Finally, I added a chipboard sticker on each card: a cloud passing through the sky of the first one, and a boat sailing over the waves of the second one.

Me voilà de retour pour partager un nouveau projet avec vous. Il s'agit d'une page que j'ai réalisée avec la belle collection Wonders de Paige Evans et American Crafts.

I'm back to share a new project with you. It's a page using the beautiful Wonders collection by Paige Evans and American Crafts.

Pour faire cette page toute en papillons et en cercles, j'ai commencé par découper des papillons dans le paper pad de la collection. Je les ai ensuite disposés en cercle en suivant les motifs du papier de fond. Pour les coller, j'ai placé une petite bande de scotch double face au centre de chaque papillon et j'ai replié leurs ailes pour apporter du relief. J'ai ajouté des Thickers colorés pour le titre, quelques enamel dots pour plus de détail ainsi que deux autocollants au centre de la page.

This layout is all about butterflies and circles. I started by fussycutting butterflies in the Wonders 6X8 paper pad. I placed them in circles following the patterns of the background paper. I added little strips of double-sided adhesive in the center of each butterfly and folded the wings up to create volume. I also used colorful Thickers for the title, some enamel dots to add detail and a couple of stickers in the center of the page.

Vous n'avez pas la berlue : il n'y a pas de photo sur cette page ! Mes deux ados ne sont pas très enthousiastes à l'idée que j'utilise des photos d'elles. Et puis, je voulais me concentrer sur le message qui, j'espère, vous inspirera. Retrouver son âme d'enfant, pour moi, c'est retourner à qui on est vraiment. Quand on est enfant, on est dans le présent, l'amour, la spontanéité, l'authenticité. On est, c'est tout. Petite fille, j'aimais beaucoup les activités créatives : dessiner, inventer des histoires, lire, bricoler. Le scrap me permet de renouer avec tout ça. Et vous, qu'est-ce qui vous fait retrouver votre âme d'enfant ?

You're seeing right: there's no picture on this page! My two teenagers aren't too keen on me using photos of them on my layouts. I also wanted to focus on the message. I hope you'll find it inspiring. Retrouver son âme d'enfant means being a child at heart. Kids are spontaneous and authentic. They live in the moment and are all about love. They just are. As a little girl, I loved being creative, drawing, making up stories, reading, making stuff. Scrapbooking takes me back to that. What about you? What takes you back to your childhood?

Ça fait tellement longtemps! Comment allez-vous? Je repasse par ici après une longue absence pour dépoussiérer mon blog et partager quelques créations scrapesques avec vous. Je n'ai pas été très active niveau scrapbooking ces dernières années. J'ai quand même réalisé quelques projets ici et là, surtout des cartes. En voici deux!

It's been such a long time! How have you been? I am stopping by today to dust my blog and share some crafty goodness with you. I haven't been very active scrapbooking-wise over the last couple of years. I've made a few projects here and there, mainly cards. Here are two of them!

Ce sont des cartes d'anniversaire que j'ai faites pour mes filles qui ont bien grandi depuis les dernières pages de scrap que j'ai partagées! Elles ont maintenant 12 et 16 ans comme vous pouvez le lire sur mes cartes. Pour les réaliser, j'ai utilisé les collections Truly Grateful et Wonders de Paige Evans et American Crafts. Je me suis servie des paper pads pour faire les bases des cartes ainsi que pour découper les lettres et les chiffres. Pour la décoration, j'ai utilisé des découpes florales, des puffy stickers et un bouton autocollant. Ces belles couleurs me donnent le sourire. Pas vous?

I made those birthday cards for my girls who've grown so much since the last pages I shared with you. They are now 12 and 16 as you can see on my cards. I made them with the Truly Grateful and Wonders collections by Paige Evans and American Crafts. I used the paper pads to create the cards, the backgrounds, the letters and the numbers. I embellished them with floral die-cuts, puffy stickers and a wooden button. Don't you love those beautiful colours? I know I do!

I'm happy to be back to share a new layout with you. It's a colorful page about my youngest girl that I made with the Go the Scenic Route collection by Paige Evans & American Crafts.

Je suis ravie d'être de retour pour partager une nouvelle page avec vous. C'est une page très colorée sur ma petite dernière que j'ai réalisée avec la collection Go the Scenic Route de Paige Evans & American Crafts.

I started by going through my Go the Scenic Route 12x12 patterned papers to look for a background and I finally settled on the bright Paper 21. I moved the picture around my background paper for inspiration and I found it when I reached the top left corner of the page. All those pink squares would go great with my girl's dark pink coat! I could layer pink embellies all along that corner.

J'ai commencé par passer en revue mes feuilles 30x30 de la collection à la recherche d'un papier de fond et je me suis finalement décidée pour le papier 21. J'ai déplacé ma photo sur mon papier de fond en quête d'inspiration et je l'ai trouvée quand j'ai atteint le coin supérieur gauche de la page. Tous ces carrés roses iraient parfaitement avec le manteau que porte ma puce sur la photo! Je pourrais disposer plein d'embellissements dans les tons roses dans ce coin de la page.

I backed the photo with a pink paper from the 6x8 paper pad and I placed it on the top left corner with foam squares. Then I looked for pink embellishments in my Go the Scenic Route stash and I arranged them along the pink squares at the bottom and on the right side of the picture. I used fussy cut flowers and flowers from the floral ephemera pack, cardstock and puffy stickers, fussy cut hearts, die cuts, and a couple of stars I traced and cut in a 6x8 paper.

J'ai donc matté ma photo avec une feuille rose du paper pad et je l'ai collée en haut à gauche avec des carrés de mousse 3D. J'ai ensuite cherché des embellissements roses dans ce que j'ai de la collection et je les ai placés le long des carrés roses en bas et à droite de la photo. J'ai utilisé des fleurs et des cœurs découpés dans des papiers, des autocollants, des die-cuts, des fleurs de l'ephemera pack floral et des étoiles que j'ai tracées et découpées dans une feuille du paper pad.

I decided to add more embellies in the center and at the bottom of the page. So I grabbed all the blue embellishments I could find in my Go the Scenic Route stash and I placed them along the blue squares to echo the pink embellies at the top of my layout. I used flowers and leaves, die cuts, stickers, another star that I cut in a blue 6x8 paper, as well as puffy letter stickers for the title.

J'ai décidé d'ajouter d'autres embellissements au centre et au bas de la page. J'ai donc regroupé tous les embellissements bleus de la collection que j'ai trouvés et je les ai disposés le long des carrés bleus pour faire écho aux embellissements roses du haut de la page. J'ai utilisé des fleurs et des feuilles, des die-cuts, des autocollants, une autre étoile que j'ai découpée dans une feuille bleue du paper pad ainsi que des lettres autocollantes pour le titre.

Now You Sea Me

 

Hello everyone!

I hope you are doing well. I have a new page to share with you today. It's a colorful travel layout featuring the Paige Evans Go the Scenic Route line and a sweet picture of my youngest girl in Ireland three years ago.

J'espère que vous vous portez bien. J'ai une nouvelle page à partager avec vous aujourd'hui. C'est une page de voyage toute colorée que j'ai réalisée avec la collection Go the Scenic Route de Paige Evans et une photo de ma petite dernière en Irlande il y a trois ans.

For this layout, I wanted to use the barcode strips at the top of the 12x12 patterned papers and decided to place them in a triangle shape on my background paper. I backed the photo using a sheet from the 6x8 paper pad and I adhered it inside the triangle with foam squares. I adorned my pic with a tab and a mandala die cut that I topped with typed journaling strips with the place and the date.

Pour cette page, j'avais envie d'utiliser les bandes avec la marque et le code barre en haut des papiers à motif et j'ai décidé de les placer en triangle sur mon papier de fond. J'ai matté la photo à l'aide d'une feuille du paper pad et je l'ai collée à l'intérieur du triangle avec des carrés de mousse 3D. J'ai décoré ma photo avec un onglet et un mandala de l'ephemera pack que j'ai ensuite surmontés de bandes de journaling avec l'endroit et la date.

I created the title with foam Thickers from the Pick-Me-Up collection and I made three clusters on the paper strips using flowers and leaves from the floral embellishment pack as well as cardstock stickers. I adhered them with foam squares to bring dimension to my layout. I also used a couple of hearts that I fussy cut from a 6x8 paper and that I placed around the picture. I finished my page by adding colorful puffy dots on each side of the triangle for balance.

J'ai créé le titre avec des Thickers en mousse de la collection Pick-Me-Up et j'ai réalisé trois clusters sur les bandes de papier avec des fleurs et des feuilles du floral embellishment pack ainsi que des autocollants en cardstock. Je les ai collés avec de la mousse 3D pour créer du relief. J'ai également utilisé des cœurs que j'ai découpés dans une feuille du paper pad et que j'ai placés autour de la photo. J'ai terminé en ajoutant des puffy dots colorés de chaque côté du triangle pour apporter plus d'équilibre à ma page.

I'm stopping by today to share a birthday card I made for my youngest girl who turned 9 last month. To make it, I played with my craft scissors and I used the Go the Scenic Route collection by Paige Evans & American Crafts.

Je suis de passage aujourd'hui pour partager une carte d'anniversaire. Je l'ai faite pour ma petite dernière qui a fêté ses 9 ans le mois dernier. Pour la réaliser, j'ai joué avec mes ciseaux de précision et j'ai utilisé la collection Go the Scenic Route de Paige Evans & American Crafts.

I started by folding a colorful 6x8 paper in half to create the base for my card and I topped it with a lighter piece of patterned paper from the 6x8 paper pad. Next I grabbed my craft scissors and fussy cut lots of hearts in another 6x8 paper. I then layered them diagonally following the pattern of the background paper. I bent them a bit with my fingers for dimension before adhering them with adhesive tape. For the sentiment, I used a label from the ephemera pack that I topped with a cardstock sticker and a couple of puffy dots. I finished my birthday card by adding some flowers around the sentiment.

Tout d'abord, j'ai plié une feuille du paper pad en deux pour créer la base de ma carte et je l'ai surmontée d'une autre feuille plus claire provenant également du paper pad. Je me suis ensuite munie de mes ciseaux de précision pour découper plein de coeurs dans un autre papier à motif du paper pad de la collection. Une fois mon découpage terminé, je les ai disposés en diagonale en suivant le motif du papier de fond. Je les ai courbés un peu avec mes doigts pour apporter du relief avant de les coller avec du scotch double-face. Pour le titre, j'ai utilisé une étiquette de l'ephemera pack que j'ai agrémentée d'un autocollant en cardstock et de puffy dots. J'ai terminé ma carte d'anniversaire en ajoutant quelques fleurs autour du titre.

I hope you are doing well. I'm starting off the week with a new layout I made with the Paige Evans Go the Scenic Route collection and a sweet photo of my little one in New Orleans last year.

J'espère que vous allez bien. Je commence la semaine avec une toute nouvelle page que j'ai faite avec la collection Go the Scenic Route de Paige Evans et une photo de ma petite dernière en pleine pause gourmande à la Nouvelle Orléans l'année dernière.

I went with a fun design and decided to place colorful Go the Scenic Route embellies all around the page. I chose the bright Paper 3 for the background and started to arrange ephemera pieces and fussy cut flowers on the borders of my layout.

Je suis partie sur une mise en page tape-à-l'œil en me concentrant sur les bords de la page. J'ai choisi le joli papier 3 pour le fond et j'ai placé des fleurs découpées dans le papier 18 et des die-cuts de la collection tout autour de ma page.

I backed the photo using a floral paper from the 6x8 paper pad and I adhered it at the bottom of the page with foam squares. I adorned it with flowers from the floral embellishment pack and with a couple of die cuts. For the title, I used a cardstock sticker that I placed on a tab on the left side of the picture. I also topped some of the ephemera pieces with cardstock & puffy stickers and I used Thickers from previous Paige Evans collections to add the place and the date. To finish, I sprinkled colorful puffy dots all around the page.

J'ai matté la photo à l'aide d'un papier floral du paper pad et je l'ai collée en bas de la page avec des carrés de mousse 3D. Je l'ai ensuite ornée de fleurs et de die-cuts de la collection. Pour le titre, j'ai utilisé un autocollant en cardstock que j'ai placé sur un onglet à gauche de ma photo. J'ai également surmonté quelques die-cuts d'autocollants et j'ai utilisé des Thickers de collections passées pour mentionner l'endroit et la date. J'ai terminé en ajoutant des puffy dots colorés tout autour de ma page.

Hello everyone!

I have a new page to share with you today. It features pretty flowers, pink, the Paige Evans Go the Scenic Route collection and a selfie taken by my oldest girl.

J'ai une nouvelle page à partager avec vous aujourd'hui. Elle met en scène de jolies fleurs, du rose, la collection Go the Scenic Route de Paige Evans et un selfie pris par ma fille aînée.

For this layout, I wanted to create a diamond frame using flowers. I started by backing the photo using a paper from the 6x8 paper pad and I placed it in the center of the page, over another pink paper from the Go the Scenic Route paper pad. Next I turned to fussy cutting lots of flowers in Paper 18. Once I finished playing with my crafting scissors, I arranged my flowers in a diamond shape on the pretty Paper 12. 

Pour cette page, j'avais envie de créer un cadre en forme de losange avec des fleurs. J'ai commencé par matter la photo avec une feuille du paper pad et je l'ai placée au centre de la page, par dessus un autre papier rose provenant du paper pad de la collection. Je me suis ensuite affairée à découper des fleurs dans le papier 18. Une fois fini avec mes ciseaux de précision, j'ai disposé mes fleurs en losange sur le joli papier 12.

I embellished the picture with a mandala die cut from the ephemera pack and I topped it with a "yes" cardstock sticker. I also placed puffy word stickers on a couple of flowers under the photo for the title and I finished adorning my floral frame with colorful puffy dots and hearts.

J'ai décoré la photo avec un mandala de l'ephemera pack et je l'ai surmonté d'un autocollant en cardstock. J'ai aussi placé des mots autocollants sur quelques fleurs pour le titre et j'ai terminé ma page en ajoutant des cœurs et des puffy dots autour du cadre.

Pretty Spooky Layout

 

Hey friends!

Halloween is just around the corner and I thought I'd make a page using a photo of my scary witches from last year. I also used the super pretty Pick-Me-Up collection by Paige Evans and Pink Paislee. I love how this layout turned out and I hope you'll like it too!

Halloween n'est plus très loin et je me suis dit que j'allais faire une page avec une photo de mes deux petites sorcières prise l'année dernière. Je l'ai réalisée avec la très jolie collection Pick-Me-Up de Paige Evans et Pink Paislee. J'espère qu'elle vous plaira autant qu'à moi!

I started by looking for a background and chose a colorful patterned paper to make my black-and-white photo pop. I just love those painty stripes! My idea for this page was to create a dimensional background using tone-on-tone hearts. So I got busy drawing and cutting lots of hearts in the coordinating paper from the 12x12 paper pad. I curved my paper hearts a bit to make them stand out from the background and I adhered them with adhesive tape, carefully following the color pattern.

J'ai commencé par chercher un fond et j'ai opté pour un papier à motif bien coloré pour faire ressortir ma photo en noir et blanc. J'aime beaucoup cet effet bandes de peinture! J'avais dans l'idée de créer un fond en relief en ajoutant des cœurs en ton sur ton. Je me suis donc affairée à tracer et découper plein de cœurs dans une feuille du bloc de papier 30x30 avec le même motif que mon papier de fond. J'ai incurvé légèrement les bords des cœurs pour qu'ils se détachent du fond et je les ai collés avec du scotch double-face en suivant avec soin les couleurs du papier de fond.

I backed the picture with a pink ombré sheet from the 6x6 paper pad and I placed it in the center of the page using foam squares. I then adorned it with pretty fussy cut flowers from one of the 12x12 patterned papers, chipboard stickers, a couple of gold sequins from the haberdashery pack, and a cardstock sticker.

J'ai matté la photo à l'aide d'une feuille rose du paper pad et je l'ai collée au centre de la page avec des carrés de mousse 3D. Je l'ai ensuite décorée avec de jolies fleurs découpées dans un papier à motif de la collection, des autocollants en chipboard, quelques sequins dorés et un autocollant en cardstock.

To create the title, I used Pick-Me-Up white foam Thickers that I placed on the top and bottom hearts. I finished embellishing my Halloween layout by adding rub-ons and enamel dots around the photo. 

Pour créer mon titre, j'ai utilisé des Thickers en mousse blancs de la collection que j'ai placés sur les cœurs du haut et du bas. J'ai apporté la touche finale à ma page d'Halloween en ajoutant quelques transferts et des enamel dots autour de la photo.

Adventure Calls Layout

Hi everyone!

I have a new layout to share with you today. I got my hands on the new Go the Scenic Route collection by Paige Evans & American Crafts and made a colorful page about my oldest girl going back to school last month. She looks so grown up on this photo!

J'ai une nouvelle page à partager avec vous aujourd'hui. J'ai mis la main sur la collection Go the Scenic Route de Paige Evans & American Crafts et j'ai réalisé une page colorée sur la rentrée des classes de ma fille aînée. Elle grandit trop vite!

I was inspired by the mandalas on the beautiful Paper 10 for the design of my layout and decided to create a wreath using paper leaves on the edge of the page. I started by drawing and cutting leaves in a couple of light papers from the 6x8 paper pad. I folded them in half and opened them back up to create dimension. I then adhered them in a circle on the right side of the page using adhesive tape that I placed under the crease of each leaf.

Pour réaliser cette page, je me suis inspirée des mandalas du magnifique papier 10 et je suis partie sur l'idée d'une couronne de feuilles en papier. J'ai commencé par tracer et découper des feuilles dans quelques papiers blancs à motif du paper pad de la collection. Je les ai ensuite pliées en deux avant de les déplier pour créer du relief. Puis je les ai disposées en cercle sur le côté droit de la page et je les ai collées à l'aide de scotch double face que j'ai placé sous le pli de chaque feuille.

I felt like adding a bit of color to my wreath and decided to spice it up with hearts that I fussy cut from a 6x8 paper and that I placed at the bottom of the leaves. Next I backed the picture with another colorful 6x8 paper and I adhered it inside the wreath using foam squares. Time to start embellishing now! I tucked a couple of die cuts and a pretty flower under the photo and I also topped it with an "adventure calls" ticket from the ephemera pack. I added some puffy dots and a few cardstock stickers around the leaves and I finished my back-to-school layout by placing three butterflies on the left side of the page.

J'ai eu envie d'ajouter un peu de couleur à ma couronne avec des cœurs que j'ai découpés dans une feuille du paper pad et que j'ai placés à la base des feuilles. J'ai ensuite matté la photo à l'aide d'un autre papier du paper pad et je l'ai collée dans la couronne avec des carrés de mousse 3D. Passons maintenant à la partie embellissement! J'ai glissé quelques die-cuts et une jolie fleur sous ma photo et je l'ai surmontée d'un ticket "adventure calls" trouvé dans l'ephemera pack de la collection. J'ai disposé des puffy dots et quelques autocollants près des feuilles et j'ai terminé ma page de rentrée en ajoutant trois papillons à gauche de la page.

Good Times Ahead Layout

I'm back with a new page featuring the Stay Colorful collection by Dear Lizzy & American Crafts and a photo of our cute puppy Piper. She joined our family last year and we love her to pieces. She's such a sweetheart!

Je suis de retour avec une nouvelle page où figurent le collection Stay Colorful de Dear Lizzy & American Crafts ainsi qu'une photo de notre petite chienne Piper. Elle a rejoint notre famille l'année dernière et on est tous sous le charme. Elle est adorable!

I played with my craft scissors for this one and fussy cut lots of butterflies in one of the 12x12 patterned papers. I also cut pretty scallops from the Dream On paper and placed them at the bottom of a white cardstock sheet. I then topped the scallops with a couple of patterned paper strips and arranged my fussy cut butterflies all around the top of the page. I folded them up and applied adhesive tape only along the crease to give depth to my layout.

Pour réaliser cette page, j'ai joué avec mes ciseaux de précision en découpant plein de papillons dans une des feuilles 30x30 de la collection. J'ai également découpé des festons dans le papier Dream On et je les ai placés en bas d'un cardstock blanc. J'ai ensuite surmonté les festons de quelques bandes de papier à motif et j'ai disposé mes papillons le long des bords supérieurs de la page. Je les ai pliés avant de les coller au niveau du pli pour apporter du relief à ma page.

Next I backed my sweet photo with a light patterned paper from the 6x6 paper pad and I adhered it on the left side of the page with foam squares. I created a cluster around my photo using tags from the ephemera pack, word and pennant stickers, as well as a chipboard heart. I also tucked fussy cut flowers from another Stay Colorful 12x12 paper under the picture and I added more pretty flowers on the scallops.

J'ai matté ma jolie photo avec un papier clair du paper pad et je l'ai collée sur la gauche de la page à l'aide de carrés de mousse 3D. J'ai ensuite fait un cluster d'embellissements autour de la photo avec des tags de l'ephemera pack, des mots et fanions autocollants ainsi qu'avec un cœur en chipboard. J'ai également glissé sous ma photo des fleurs découpées dans une feuille 30x30 de la collection et j'en ai ajouté d'autres sur les festons.

For the title, I used a chipboard sticker and I placed it on the right side of the photo. I adorned a couple of embellies with cute heart stickers and I finished my layout by adding enamel dots and buttons from the Dear Lizzy Lovely Day collection near the flowers.

Pour le titre, j'ai utilisé un autocollant en chipboard que j'ai placé à droite de la photo sur les festons. J'ai orné quelques embellissements de cœurs autocollants et j'ai terminé en ajoutant des enamel dots et des boutons de la collection Lovely Day près de certaines fleurs.

Good Times

Hello there!

I hope you had a fantastic weekend! I'm starting off this new week with a happy page all about my girls. I used the Amy Tangerine Sunshine and Good Times collection and a sweet picture taken at the funfair a couple of years back.

J'espère que vous avez passé un bon weekend! Je commence cette nouvelle semaine avec une page pleine de gaieté consacrée à mes filles. J'ai utilisé la collection Sunshine and Good Times d'Amy Tangerine ainsi qu'une photo prise à la fête foraine il y a quelques années.

My idea for this layout was to create half circles on the edges of the page using paper hearts. So I started by drawing and cutting off hearts in several sheets of the Sunshine and Good Times 6x6 paper pad. I then arranged them at the top and at the bottom of the background paper so as to make semicircles.

Pour cette page, j'ai eu envie de créer des demi-cercles avec des cœurs en papier. J'ai donc commencé par tracer et découper des cœurs dans plusieurs feuilles du paper pad Sunshine and Good Times. J'ai ensuite placé mes cœurs en forme de demi-cercles en haut et en bas de la page.

Next I tucked the photo under the paper hearts and I added puffy stickers along the semicircles for the title. I then fussy cut pretty flowers from one of the Sunshine and Good Times patterned papers and I placed them on the edges of the page and under the picture.

J'ai inséré la photo sous les cœurs au centre de la page et j'ai ajouté des puffy stickers le long des demi-cercles pour le titre. J'ai ensuite découpé de jolies fleurs dans un papier à motif de la collection et je les ai placées sur les bords de la page et sous la photo.

I finished embellishing my layout with more paper hearts, a couple of wood buttons from the Shimelle Little by Little collection, some black enamel dots, and a few Sunshine and Good Times puffy hearts.  I just love the whimsy look those colorful hearts give to my layout!

J'ai fini d'embellir ma page avec d'autres cœurs en papier, deux boutons en bois de la collection Little by Little de Shimelle, quelques enamel dots noirs et des puffy stickers Sunshine and Good Times. J'aime beaucoup le côté bohème que ces cœurs colorés apportent à ma page!

I have a brand new layout to share with you today. I played along with the Paper Issues Sassy Scallops challenge and made a happy page using the Dear Lizzy Stay Colorful collection, a sweet photo of my girls at the funfair a few years back and bright scallops that I made with paper circles.

Je suis de passage aujourd'hui pour partager une toute nouvelle page inspirée par le Sassy Scallops challenge de Paper Issues. J'ai utilisé la collection Stay Colorful de Dear Lizzy, une photo des filles à la fête foraine il y a quelques années ainsi que des festons colorés que j'ai faits avec des cercles en papier.

I started my layout by drawing and cutting circles in several papers from the Stay Colorful 6x6 paper pad to make my scallops. I then cut the cirlces in half, bent them up a bit and decided to arrange them diagonally to add a fun touch to my page. I like how those colorful scallops pop against the light background paper!

J'ai commencé par dessiner et découper des cercles dans plusieurs feuilles du paper pad Stay Colorful pour faire mes festons. J'ai coupé les cercles en deux, je les ai recourbés légèrement et j'ai décidé de les disposer en biais pour apporter une touche originale à ma page. J'aime le contraste entre ces festons colorés et le fond clair!

I adhered the picture with foam squares just above the scallops and added beautiful fussy cut flowers on either side. For the title, I topped my photo with a glittery die-cut phrase. I made a pretty frame in a pink 6x6 paper with a Spellbinders Blooming Garden die and tucked it under the title to make it stand out a bit more.

J'ai collé la photo avec de la mousse 3D juste au-dessus des festons et j'ai ajouté de belles fleurs découpées dans un papier de la collection de chaque côté. Pour le titre, j'ai surmonté ma photo d'une jolie découpe pailletée. J'ai réalisé un cadre dans un papier rose du paper pad Stay Colorful avec un die de la collection Blooming Garden de Spellbinders et je l'ai glissé sous mon titre pour le faire ressortir d'avantage.

I completed my sweet layout by adding a few embellishments around the photo and on the bottom scallops: cute chipboard hearts and crosses, cardstock stickers, and a couple of die cuts. I love the happy and fun look those paper scallops give to the the page!

J'ai terminé ma page en ajoutant quelques embellissements autour de la photo et sur les festons du bas. J'ai utilisé des cœurs et des croix en chipboard, des autocollants en cardstock et quelques découpes de l'ephemera pack. J'adore la gaieté que ces festons colorés apportent à la page!

Hello Cards - Spellbinders

Je suis de retour aujourd'hui pour partager mon deuxième projet réalisé avec la superbe collection Blooming Garden de Marisa Job et Spellbinders. Je me suis amusée avec les panneaux et les fleurs de la collection et j'ai fait un set de cartes colorées.

I'm back today to share my second project using the gorgeous Blooming Garden collection by Marisa Job and Spellbinders. I played with the beautiful floral and panel dies and I made a set of colorful hello cards.

Pour la base de mes cartes, j'ai utilisé des feuilles de paper pad que j'ai plié en deux. J'adore cette taille de carte!

To make the bases of my cards, I used 6x6 patterned papers that I folded in half to get 6x3 cards. I just love that fun size!

J'ai ensuite coupé des rectangles dans d'autres feuilles de paper pad et je les ai placés sur le dessus de mes cartes pour faire de jolies superpositions.

Next I cut rectangles in more 6x6 papers and I placed them on the top of my cards to make pretty layers. Time to start die-cutting now!

Pour ma première carte, je suis partie sur du vert et j'ai découpé un joli panneau floral dans un papier à motif vert à l'aide des dies Heart Flower Box. J'ai coupé mon panneau en deux et je l'ai collé en bas de la carte. Pour le titre, j'ai utilisé une découpe d'ephemera pack  que j'ai placé en haut de la carte. J'ai ensuite découpé une belle branche dans un autre papier vert avec le die Swirl Leaf Branch et je l'ai collée en travers de la carte pour souligner le titre. Enfin, j'ai parsemé ma carte de jolies fleurs réalisées avec les dies Rose Buds et je les ai ornées d'autocollants et de sequins.

For my first card, I went with green and I die-cut a pretty floral panel in a green patterned paper using the Heart Flower Box die set. I cut my floral panel in two and adhered it at the bottom of the card. For the title, I used an ephemera piece that I placed at the top of my card. I then die-cut a beautiful branch in another green paper with the Swirl Leaf Branch die and I adhered it across the card to underline my title. Finally, I scattered pretty Blooming Garden flowers from the Rose Buds die set on my card and I topped them with stickers and sequins from my stash.

Pour la deuxième carte, j'ai utilisé principalement du rose et j'ai découpé un superbe panneau dans un papier à motif rose foncé à l'aide du die Swirl Happy Birthday Frame. Je l'ai coupé en deux, j'ai découpé l'intérieur pour en faire un cadre et je l'ai placé sur la carte. J'ai ensuite rempli mon cadre de jolies fleurs découpées dans des papiers colorés avec les dies Heart Flower Box et j' en ai ornées quelques-unes de sequins et d'enamel dots dorés. J'ai apporté la touche finale à ma carte avec quelques sequins noirs et un bouton en bois pour le titre.

For the second card, I focused on pink and I die-cut a beautiful panel in a dark pink paper using the Swirl Happy Birthday Frame dies. I cut it in two, cut it again to turn it into a frame and placed it on the top of my card. Next I filled my frame with lovely die-cut flowers from the Heart Flower Box die set and I adorned some of them with sequins and glittery enamel dots. I put the final touch to my card with a couple of black sequins and a wood button for the title.
