Je suis de retour pour partager une nouvelle page réalisée avec la collection Sketchbook de Bea Valint et American Crafts. 

Hello! 

I'm back to share a new layout using the Sketchbook collection by Bea Valint and American Crafts. 

Cette page met en scène une photo que j'ai prise il y a quelques mois d'une feuille en forme de cœur prise dans une toile d'araignée au coin de ma fenêtre. J'ai pris ça comme un petit mot d'amour de l'Univers et un rappel qu'on est sur Terre pour aimer. Pour la réalisation et le titre de ma page, je me suis inspirée de la chanson "Love Is All" de Roger Glover & Ronnie James Dio. En écho à cette feuille sur ma photo, j'ai décidé de faire une ribambelle d'embellissements en forme de cœur. Cette ronde joyeuse de découpes d'animaux, de fruits, de fleurs et de feuilles renvoie aussi au clip de la chanson. J'ai commencé par placer les embellissements de manière à former un cœur sur mon papier de fond. Avant de les coller, je les ai incurvés légèrement pour apporter du relief. Pour le titre, j'ai utilisé des Thickers qui rajoutent un peu plus de couleur à ma page. 

The star of the page is a photo snapped a few months ago of a heart-shaped leaf caught in a spider web outside my window. To me, it's like a love note from the Universe and a reminder that we are on Earth to love. I was inspired by the song "Love Is All" by Roger Glover & Ronnie James Dio for the composition and the title of my layout. To echo the leaf on the picture, I decided to create a garland of embellishments in the shape of a heart. This colourful assortment of animals, fruits, flowers and leaves is also a nod to the music video of the song. I started by placing the die cuts on the background paper so as to form a heart. Before taping them down, I curved them a little to add dimension. For the title, I used Thickers that bring even more colour to my page. 

Après avoir maté la photo avec une feuille du paper pad Sketchbook, je l'ai collée au centre du cœur avec de la mousse 3D pour la faire ressortir. Je l'ai surmontée d'un fanion et j'en ai glissé trois autres sous le côté droit. Pour finir, j'ai complété ma guirlande d'embellissements avec quelques fleurs et cœurs autocollants ainsi que des enamel dots. 

After backing the picture with a paper from the Sketchbook 6x8 pad, I adhered it in the center of the heart with foam tape to make it pop. I topped it with a banner and slipped three more of them under the right side of the photo. Finally, I completed my garland of embellishments with flower and heart stickers as well as enamel dots.

J'espère que vous allez bien. J'ai une nouvelle page à partager avec vous aujourd'hui. Je l'ai réalisée avec la belle collection Midnight de Cocoa Vanilla Studio et une photo de ma chienne Piper qui profite d'un rayon de soleil.

I hope you are well. I have a new layout to share with you today. I made it with the beautiful Midnight collection by Cocoa Vanilla Studio and a photo of my sweet girl Piper enjoying the sun. 

Pour aller avec ma photo, j'avais dans l'idée de faire un soleil avec des bouts de papiers et des embellissements. J'ai commencé par choisir un fond dans les tons clairs pour pouvoir utiliser plein de papiers colorés et pour faire ressortir la photo. J'ai maté cette dernière avec une feuille du paper pad Midnight et je l'ai collée dans le coin inférieur gauche de la page à l'aide de mousse 3D pour apporter du relief. Je suis ensuite passée à la réalisation de mon soleil en plaçant des morceaux de papier de manière à former deux cercles concentriques. C'est un moyen sympa d'utiliser les chutes de papier ! Je me suis aussi servie de quelques die-cuts, de mots autocollants transparents et d'une bannière en chipboard de la collection pour compléter mes cercles. 

To go with my picture, I decided to make a sun with pieces of paper and embellishments. First, I picked a light background paper to be able to use different colours for my sun and to make the photo pop. I backed the picture with a pretty ombre paper from the Midnight 6x8 pad and I adhered it on the bottom left-hand corner with foam tape to bring dimension. I then got busy creating my sun and placed bits of paper on the page so as to make two concentric circles. It's a fun way to use paper scraps! I completed my concentric circles with die-cuts, a couple of clear word stickers, and a chipboard banner from the Midnight collection. 

J'ai ajouté différents embellissements de la collection -des autocollants en cardstock et en chipboard, des die-cuts ainsi que des autocollants transparents- autour du cercle extérieur pour faire les rayons. Pour le titre, inspiré de la chanson "Let the Sunshine In", j'ai utilisé une découpe de la collection Midnight ainsi que des Thickers que j'ai collés directement sur la photo. J'ai terminé ma page en ajoutant quelques die-cuts et des cœurs autocollants sur et autour de la photo. 

I placed several embellishments -cardstock and chipboard stickers, die-cuts, as well as clear stickers- around the bigger circle to make the sunrays. For the title, inspired by the song "Let the Sunshine In", I used a Midnight die-cut and Thickers that I put directly on the picture. I finished my layout by adding some die-cuts and a couple of heart stickers on and around the photo.

Tout d'abord, je vous souhaite le meilleur pour cette nouvelle année. Je commence 2026 avec cette page réalisée en partie avec la collection Sketchbook de Bea Valint et inspirée par une citation de Rûmî.

Hi! 

First, I'd like to wish you the best for this new year. I'm starting 2026 with a page featuring the Sketchbook collection by Bea Valint and inspired by the poet Rûmî.

Comme je vous le disais, c'est une citation du poète Rûmî qui m'a inspirée cette page : "Somewhere beyond right and wrong, there is a garden. I will meet you there". En Français, ça donne : "Quelque part au-delà du bon et du mauvais, du vrai et du faux, du fait d'avoir raison ou tort, il y a un jardin. C'est là que je viendrai à ta rencontre". Pour moi, ce jardin est le cœur en paix. J'ai donc tracé et découpé un cœur dans un papier fleuri de la collection Whimsical de Paige Evans. J'ai ensuite cousu les bords avec de la laine bleue pour apporter de la texture et du relief et pour faire de ce cœur un cocon. J'ai voulu y représenter un beau jardin coloré. J'ai commencé par faire l'herbe en traçant et découpant des cercles dans différents papiers de teinte verte. J'ai ensuite coupé à nouveau ces cercles en deux et je les ai disposés sur la moitié inférieure du cœur en papier. J'ai ajouté quelques fleurs de l'ephemera pack Sketchbook pour agrémenter mon herbe ainsi que des lettres autocollantes de la collection Turn the Page de Paige Evans pour former le mot "peace".

As I've just said, this layout was inspired by a few lines by Rûmî: "Somewhere beyond right and wrong, there is a garden. I will meet you there". For me, this garden is the heart at peace. So I started by drawing and cutting a heart in a floral paper from the Whimsical collection by Paige Evans. I then got busy stitching the edges of my paper heart with blue wool to bring texture and depth, and also to turn that heart into a cocoon. I wanted to create a beautiful and colourful garden inside the heart. So I started with the grass by cutting circles in several green papers. I cut the circles again in half and I placed them on the bottom area of the heart. I added a couple of flowers from the Sketchbook ephemera pack and alpha stickers from the Turn the Page collection by Paige Evans to complete my paper grass.

Pour le soleil, j'ai à nouveau découpé un cercle dans un papier floral que j'ai ajusté au bord supérieur du cœur avant de le coller. Puis j'ai glissé des petites bandes de papier colorées sous le cercle pour faire les rayons. J'ai ajouté une branche de l'autre côté et mon cœur était terminé. Pour le fond de ma page, j'ai choisi un papier rose tout doux au centre duquel j'ai collé le cœur. J'ai ensuite glissé de grandes bandes de papier de différentes couleurs sous le cœur pour là aussi faire des rayons. J'ai dessiné des nuages dans une feuille du paper pad Sketchbook avant de les découper et de les coller autour du cœur. J'ai apporté la touche finale à ma page en ajoutant les mots de Rûmî, que j'ai imprimés et découpés en bandes, sur les nuages.

To make the sun, I cut another circle in a floral paper that I had to adjust to the heart's edge before sticking it. I then slipped some patterned paper strips under it to create the rays. I added a branch on the other side and my heart was complete. For the background, I picked a beautiful light pink paper in the middle of which I placed the heart. Here again, I slipped colourful paper strips under it to make rays. I drew and cut clouds in a paper from the Sketchbook 6x8 pad and adhered them around the heart. I finished my page by adding Rûmî's words, that I printed and cut in strips, on the clouds.

I hope you are well. I'd like to share a new layout with you today using the Auburn Lane collection by Pink Paislee. 

Il s'agit à nouveau d'une page à message sur l'importance de l'instant présent, d'être à ce que l'on fait et de sortir de sa tête pour mieux entendre son cœur. J'ai remarqué que j'avais tendance à faire les choses de la vie quotidienne, que ce soit les tâches ménagères, promener mon chien ou encore me brosser les dents, en pensant à autre chose. Je suis perdue dans mes pensées, plongée dans des préoccupations qui n'ont rien à voir avec ce que je suis en train de faire et de vivre sur le moment. Que ce soit en ressassant le passé ou en m'inquiétant pour le futur, je me retrouve non seulement déconnectée du présent mais aussi en proie à des émotions, comme le stress, la tristesse ou le regret, qui n'ont pas lieu d'être. Pour ne pas me laisser embarquer par le flot de mes pensées et me prendre la tête toute seule pour rien, j'essaie de me concentrer sur ce que je suis en train de faire et je porte mon attention sur ma respiration et mon cœur. Je me sens tout de suite plus légère et tranquille. Je me rends compte que tout ce qui compte est dans le cœur ici et maintenant. C'est l'idée que je voulais faire passer avec cette page. 

In this page with a message, I wanted to convey the importance of the here and now, of living in the moment, and of getting out of our head in order to better hear our heart. I noticed that I tend to go about my daily routine, for instance doing the chores, walking my dog or brushing my teeth, while thinking about something else. I am lost in thought, deep in preoccupations that have nothing to do with what I am doing in that moment. By dwelling on the past or worrying about the future, I end up being disconnected from the present and prey to emotions, like stress, sadness or regret, that aren't justified. To avoid being overwhelmed by a torrent of thoughts and get worked up for no reason, I try to focus on what I'm doing, on my breath, and on my heart. I instantly feel lighter and at peace. I'm coming to realise that all that matters is here and now, right in the heart. This is what this layout is all about.

Après avoir tracé et découpé un cœur dans un papier à motif floral rose, je l'ai collé sur mon papier de fond boisé avec du scotch double-face. J'aime bien le contraste entre la douceur du cœur et le côté brut du fond. J'ai ensuite découpé des fleurs dans différentes feuilles du paper pad Auburn Lane et je les ai disposées sur les bords du cœur. J'ai également utilisé quelques découpes florales en calque aux accents dorés. Puis j'ai ajouté des bandes de papier de plusieurs couleurs tout autour du cœur en guise de rayons. Pour mon message, j'ai placé des lettres autocollantes de la collection à l'intérieur du cœur. J'ai apporté la touche finale à ma page en ajoutant des enamel dots près de certains rayons. 

After drawing and cutting a heart in a pink floral paper, I adhered it on the woodgrain background paper using double-sided tape. I like the contrast between that soft pink heart and the raw background. I fussy cut flowers in several 6x8 papers and I placed them on the edges of the heart. I also used a couple of vellum flowers with gold accents. I added colorful paper strips all round the heart to create rays. For the message, I used different types of Auburn Lane thickers that I placed in the heart. I finished my layout by adding enamel dots around some paper strips.

Comment allez-vous en ce mois de septembre ? De mon côté, j'ai pu scrapper un peu et j'ai une page pleine de cœurs et d'amour à partager avec vous. Je l'ai réalisée avec la belle collection More than Words de Cocoa Vanilla Studio.

How is September going for you? I had fun with the beautiful More than Words collection by Cocoa Vanilla Studio and I made this soft page filled with hearts and love.

J'ai un aveu à vous faire : j'ai tendance à stresser très rapidement. Il n'y a pas très longtemps, j'étais inquiète pour une personne qui m'est chère. Je sentais l'angoisse grandir et je me suis dit qu'au lieu de me concentrer sur le problème, je devrais plutôt porter mon attention sur l'amour que j'ai pour elle. Ça m'a aidé à retrouver mon calme. Me laisser submerger par l'inquiétude et le mécontentement n'aiderait pas à régler le problème de toute façon. Autant essayer de se concentrer sur le positif et d'être en paix. C'est tout le sujet de cette page.

I have something to admit: I tend to get stressed very easily. A few weeks ago, I was worried for a loved one. The more I thought about what she was going through, the more anxious I felt. It then occured to me that I should focus on the love I have for her, not on her situation. It helped me calm down. Getting all worked up wouldn't make things better anyway. Might as well try to focus on the bright side and keep calm. That's the idea I wanted to convey with this layout.

J'ai commencé par dessiner puis découper des cœurs de deux tailles différentes dans des feuilles du paper pad More than Words. Je les ai ensuite disposés en spirale sur le papier de fond. J'ai décoré ma spirale de cœurs avec des papillons découpés dans un papier à motif, un badge et quelques découpes florales. J'ai ensuite ajouté le titre en découpant des lettres dans des mots en chipboard de la collection. Pour apporter la touche finale, j'ai bordé certains cœurs d'enamel dots et j'ai fait des taches à l'encre noire.

First I drew and cut hearts in two different sizes in several patterned papers from the More than Words 6x6 pad. I used them to create a spiral on the background paper and then adorned it with fussy cut butterflies, a flair button and floral die cuts. For the title, I cut letters from the More than Words chipboard words and placed them on the hearts with my other embellishments. I finished my page by adding a few enamel shapes and making stains with black ink.

Comment se passe votre été ? Je suis de retour en ce mois d'août pour partager une toute nouvelle page avec vous. Je l'ai réalisée avec la collection Pick Me Up de Paige Evans et Pink Paislee.

How is your summer going? I am back to share a new page using the Pick Me Up collection by Paige Evans and Pink Paislee.

Il s'agit à nouveau d'une page sans photo où je me suis concentrée sur le message, notamment à travers le titre "It's the Little Things". On peut parfois avoir l'impression de ne pas être utile, de ne pas avoir une grande importance, un rôle à jouer sur Terre. C'est mon cas de temps en temps, je dois bien l'avouer ! Alors qu'un petit geste, un sourire, un mot gentil peuvent avoir beaucoup d'impact. Les petites actions qui viennent du cœur peuvent prendre une ampleur qu'on ne soupçonne même pas. Pour illustrer cette idée, je me suis inspirée de l'histoire du colibri qui aide à éteindre un feu de forêt goutte par goutte malgré sa petite taille. J'ai tracé un colibri à l'aide d'un gabarit sur une feuille du paper pad Pick Me Up avant de le découper avec mes ciseaux de précision. J'ai également tracé puis découpé des cercles de plusieurs tailles dans différents papiers à motif de la collection avant de les superposer sur ma feuille de fond.

I made another inspirational layout focusing on a message rather than a photo. Sometimes we can feel like we don't matter that much, like we don't have a big part to play here on Earth. I know I do from time to time! But a small gesture, a smile, a nice word can actually have a huge impact. A little can go a long way, right? This is what this page is all about. To illustrate this idea, I was inspired by the story of the hummingbird helping to put out a fire despite his size. I drew a hummingbird using a template on a sheet from the Pick Me Up 6x6 paper pad before fussy cutting it. I also cut concentric circles in several patterned papers from the collection and placed them on my blue ombre background paper.

J'ai collé un cœur découpé dans une autre feuille du paper pad Pick Me Up sur le dernier cercle avant de placer mon colibri par dessus à l'aide de mousse 3D. Le colibri étant la star de la page, il fallait qu'il se détache de ce fond coloré. Quoi de mieux que de la mousse adhésive pour ça ? C'est aussi un bon moyen d'apporter du relief et du détail à un projet. Pour réaliser mon titre, j'ai utilisé des Thickers ainsi qu'un autocollant que j'ai positionnés sur le colibri. J'ai ajouté d'autres cercles ainsi que des cœurs découpés dans des papiers à motif pour agrémenter mes anneaux colorés et j'ai terminé ma page avec quelques enamel dots.

I placed a heart that I cut in another Pick Me Up 6x6 paper over the smaller circle and then adhered the hummingbird on top of it using foam tape. As the hummingbird is the star of the layout, it had to stand out against the busy background. Foam adhesive is a great way to do that and it also brings volume and detail to a project. For my title, I used Thickers and a sticker that I placed on the hummingbird. I adorned my colourful paper rings with circles and hearts that I cut in 6x6 patterned papers and I finished my layout by adding a few enamel dots.

Retrouver son âme (d'enfant)

Me voilà de retour pour partager un nouveau projet avec vous. Il s'agit d'une page que j'ai réalisée avec la belle collection Wonders de Paige Evans et American Crafts.

I'm back to share a new project with you. It's a page using the beautiful Wonders collection by Paige Evans and American Crafts.

Pour faire cette page toute en papillons et en cercles, j'ai commencé par découper des papillons dans le paper pad de la collection. Je les ai ensuite disposés en cercle en suivant les motifs du papier de fond. Pour les coller, j'ai placé une petite bande de scotch double face au centre de chaque papillon et j'ai replié leurs ailes pour apporter du relief. J'ai ajouté des Thickers colorés pour le titre, quelques enamel dots pour plus de détail ainsi que deux autocollants au centre de la page.

This layout is all about butterflies and circles. I started by fussycutting butterflies in the Wonders 6X8 paper pad. I placed them in circles following the patterns of the background paper. I added little strips of double-sided adhesive in the center of each butterfly and folded the wings up to create volume. I also used colorful Thickers for the title, some enamel dots to add detail and a couple of stickers in the center of the page.

Vous n'avez pas la berlue : il n'y a pas de photo sur cette page ! Mes deux ados ne sont pas très enthousiastes à l'idée que j'utilise des photos d'elles. Et puis, je voulais me concentrer sur le message qui, j'espère, vous inspirera. Retrouver son âme d'enfant, pour moi, c'est retourner à qui on est vraiment. Quand on est enfant, on est dans le présent, l'amour, la spontanéité, l'authenticité. On est, c'est tout. Petite fille, j'aimais beaucoup les activités créatives : dessiner, inventer des histoires, lire, bricoler. Le scrap me permet de renouer avec tout ça. Et vous, qu'est-ce qui vous fait retrouver votre âme d'enfant ?

You're seeing right: there's no picture on this page! My two teenagers aren't too keen on me using photos of them on my layouts. I also wanted to focus on the message. I hope you'll find it inspiring. Retrouver son âme d'enfant means being a child at heart. Kids are spontaneous and authentic. They live in the moment and are all about love. They just are. As a little girl, I loved being creative, drawing, making up stories, reading, making stuff. Scrapbooking takes me back to that. What about you? What takes you back to your childhood?

Together Again

It's been so long, I know! We moved, I started a new job and I stopped crafting. But the hitch to get creative again was too strong. I just had to dig up my old scrapbooking boxes and make something. So here I am with a new layout using the Maggie Holmes Marigold collection and a photo of my youngest girl with our dog.

Je suis de retour après plus d'un an d'absence. Je sais, ça fait longtemps! On a déménagé, j'ai trouvé du travail et j'ai arrêté de scrapper. Mais l'envie de créer quelque chose est devenue tellement forte que j'ai dû ressortir mes vieux cartons de scrap. Me voici donc ici aujourd'hui avec une nouvelle page que j'ai faite avec la collection Marigold de Maggie Holmes et une photo de ma petite dernière avec notre chienne.

One of my favorite things to do when I craft is to come up with fun designs. Here I focused on the left side of the page by layering Marigold ephemera and stickers on the edges of the background paper. I placed the photo in the center and finally added a couple of vellum pieces to create the title. I love this collection and I've used it on several projects. Here are a few of them.

Une des choses que je préfère quand je scrappe est de réfléchir à des designs originaux. Pour cette page, je me suis concentrée sur le côté gauche de la page en superposant des découpes et des autocollants de la collection le long des bords du papier de fond. J'ai ensuite placé la photo au centre et j'ai terminé en ajoutant des découpes en calque pour le titre. J'aime beaucoup cette collection que j'ai d'ailleurs utilisée pour de nombreux projets. En voici quelques-uns.

Happy Monday! I'm stopping by today to share a new page I made with the Bohemian Dream collection by Cocoa Vanilla Studio and a sweet picture of my youngest girl back when she was two.

J'espère que vous avez passé un bon week-end! Je démarre la semaine avec une nouvelle page que j'ai faite avec la collection Bohemian Dream de Cocoa Vanilla Studio et une photo de ma petite dernière quand elle avait deux ans.

I was inspired by the background paper for the design of this layout and decided to layer several 6x6 papers on the left side of the page to echo the blue diamonds on my background. I backed the photo using another paper from the Bohemian Dream 6x6 paper pad and I adhered it on the paper diamonds with foam squares.

J'ai été inspirée par le papier de fond pour cette page et j'ai décidé de superposer plusieurs feuilles du paper pad en losange à gauche de la page. J'ai matté la photo avec une autre feuille du paper pad et je l'ai collée sur mes losanges en papier avec des carrés de mousse 3D.

For embellishing, I added die cuts, stickers and vellum pieces all around the photo. I adhered most of them with foam squares for dimension. I used the "wild child" banner to create the title and I finished my cute page by adding a couple of enamel hearts. I like how my black and white pic stands out against the colorful papers and embellies!

Pour embellir ma page, j'ai ajouté des die-cuts, des autocollants et des découpes en calque tout autour de la photo. J'ai collé la plupart avec de la mousse 3D pour apporter du relief. J'ai utilisé la bannière "wild child" pour créer le titre et j'ai terminé ma page en ajoutant quelques cœurs autocollants. J'aime le contraste entre ma photo en noir et blanc et tous ces papiers et ces embellissements colorés!

Happy InterNational Scrapbooking Day! I have a new layout to share with you to celebrate this special day. It features a few of my favorites: pink, flowers, the Paige Evans Truly Grateful line and a picture of my skater girls from last year.

Aujourd'hui c'est la journée internationale du scrapbooking et, pour fêter ça, j'ai une nouvelle page à partager avec vous. Elle met en scène tout ce que j'aime: du rose, des fleurs, la collection Truly Grateful de Paige Evans et une photo de mes skateuses préférées prise l'année dernière.

I had this beautiful ombré paper left in my Truly Grateful stash and I just had to use it as my background for this layout. I picked a couple of patterned paper sheets from the 6x6 paper pad, trimmed one of them to get a slightly smaller square and layered them in a diamond shape in the center of the page. Then I backed the photo using another 6x6 paper and I placed it on my paper diamond with foam squares.

Il me restait ce beau papier ombré de la collection Truly Grateful et il fallait vraiment que je l'utilise pour cette page. J'ai choisi deux papiers à motif du paper pad, j'ai coupé les bords de l'un d'eux pour obtenir un carré plus petit et je les ai superposés en losange au centre de la page. J'ai ensuite matté la photo avec une autre feuille du paper pad et je l'ai collée sur mon losange en papier avec des carrés de mousse 3D.

Time to embellish! I grabbed my Truly Grateful ephemera and floral embellishment packs and I placed pretty flowers all around my paper diamond. I also used fussy cut flowers, acorns and leaves that I bent before adhering with glue or foam squares to create dimension. For the title I used a Thicker that I placed along one side of the diamond. I also cut the "all we need is each other" die cut in three pieces and tucked them under the three other sides. Last but not least, I put the finishing touch to my girly layout with colorful puffy shapes.

Pour la partie embellissement, je me suis munie de l'ephemera pack et du floral embellishment pack de la collection et j'ai disposé de jolies fleurs tout autour de mon losange. J'ai également utilisé des fleurs, des feuilles et des glands découpés dans des papiers à motif et j'ai recourbé leurs bords avant de les coller avec de la glue ou de la mousse 3D pour créer du relief. Pour le titre, j'ai utilisé un Thicker que j'ai placé le long d'un côté du losange. J'ai aussi découpé le die-cut "all we need is each other" en trois et j'ai glissé chaque partie sous un des trois côtés restants. Enfin, j'ai apporté la touche finale à ma page avec quelques autocollants colorés.

Happy Monday! I have a new page to share with you today featuring the Marigold collection by Maggie Holmes & Crate Paper and a sweet photo of my three girls.

Je commence la semaine avec une nouvelle page que j'ai réalisée avec la collection Marigold de Maggie Holmes & Crate Paper et une photo de mes trois puces.

For this layout, I was inspired by my background paper and decided to use paper hearts. So I got to work tracing and cutting hearts in patterned papers from the Marigold 6x8 paper pad. I folded them in half and opened them back up to create dimension. Then I adhered them in three lines on the right side of the background paper using double-sided tape.

Pour cette page, je me suis inspirée du papier de fond et j'ai décidé d'utiliser des cœurs en papier. Je me suis donc mise à tracer et découper des cœurs dans des papiers à motif du paper pad. Je les ai pliés en deux puis je les ai réouverts pour apporter du relief. Je les ai ensuite collés en trois colonnes à droite de la page avec du scotch double face.

I backed the picture with a 6x8 paper and placed it on my paper hearts using foam squares. I added cardstock stickers on each side of the photo for the title and the date. I also created a cluster at the top of the page with a couple of Marigold flowers and pretty gold Thickers. I adorned my paper hearts with a few more stickers and I put the finishing touch to my layout with a couple of white enamel dots.

J'ai matté la photo avec une feuille du paper pad et je l'ai collée sur mes cœurs en papier avec des carrés de mousse 3D. J'ai ensuite ajouté des autocollants en cardstock de chaque côté de la photo pour le titre et la date. J'ai également fait un cluster en haut de la page avec des fleurs de la collection et de jolis Thickers dorés. J'ai orné les cœurs en papier de quelques autocollants supplémentaires et j'ai apporté la touche finale à ma page avec quelques enamel dots blancs.

I'm happy to be back to share a new layout with you. It's a colorful page about my youngest girl that I made with the Go the Scenic Route collection by Paige Evans & American Crafts.

Je suis ravie d'être de retour pour partager une nouvelle page avec vous. C'est une page très colorée sur ma petite dernière que j'ai réalisée avec la collection Go the Scenic Route de Paige Evans & American Crafts.

I started by going through my Go the Scenic Route 12x12 patterned papers to look for a background and I finally settled on the bright Paper 21. I moved the picture around my background paper for inspiration and I found it when I reached the top left corner of the page. All those pink squares would go great with my girl's dark pink coat! I could layer pink embellies all along that corner.

J'ai commencé par passer en revue mes feuilles 30x30 de la collection à la recherche d'un papier de fond et je me suis finalement décidée pour le papier 21. J'ai déplacé ma photo sur mon papier de fond en quête d'inspiration et je l'ai trouvée quand j'ai atteint le coin supérieur gauche de la page. Tous ces carrés roses iraient parfaitement avec le manteau que porte ma puce sur la photo! Je pourrais disposer plein d'embellissements dans les tons roses dans ce coin de la page.

I backed the photo with a pink paper from the 6x8 paper pad and I placed it on the top left corner with foam squares. Then I looked for pink embellishments in my Go the Scenic Route stash and I arranged them along the pink squares at the bottom and on the right side of the picture. I used fussy cut flowers and flowers from the floral ephemera pack, cardstock and puffy stickers, fussy cut hearts, die cuts, and a couple of stars I traced and cut in a 6x8 paper.

J'ai donc matté ma photo avec une feuille rose du paper pad et je l'ai collée en haut à gauche avec des carrés de mousse 3D. J'ai ensuite cherché des embellissements roses dans ce que j'ai de la collection et je les ai placés le long des carrés roses en bas et à droite de la photo. J'ai utilisé des fleurs et des cœurs découpés dans des papiers, des autocollants, des die-cuts, des fleurs de l'ephemera pack floral et des étoiles que j'ai tracées et découpées dans une feuille du paper pad.

I decided to add more embellies in the center and at the bottom of the page. So I grabbed all the blue embellishments I could find in my Go the Scenic Route stash and I placed them along the blue squares to echo the pink embellies at the top of my layout. I used flowers and leaves, die cuts, stickers, another star that I cut in a blue 6x8 paper, as well as puffy letter stickers for the title.

J'ai décidé d'ajouter d'autres embellissements au centre et au bas de la page. J'ai donc regroupé tous les embellissements bleus de la collection que j'ai trouvés et je les ai disposés le long des carrés bleus pour faire écho aux embellissements roses du haut de la page. J'ai utilisé des fleurs et des feuilles, des die-cuts, des autocollants, une autre étoile que j'ai découpée dans une feuille bleue du paper pad ainsi que des lettres autocollantes pour le titre.

Hello everyone!

I'm back with a new layout all about my oldest girl and her new haircut. To make it, I used the beautiful More than Words collection by Cocoa Vanilla Studio.

Je suis de retour avec une nouvelle page consacrée à ma fille aînée et à sa nouvelle coiffure. Pour la réaliser, j'ai utilisé la belle collection More than Words de Cocoa Vanilla Studio.

I started by layering patterned paper squares on my background paper. I bent the edges a bit before adhering them to add dimension to my layout and be able to slip embellies in. I then backed the photo using a paper from the 6x6 paper pad and I placed it on the bottom square using foam squares.

J'ai commencé par superposer des carrés de papier à motif sur mon papier de fond. J'ai recourbé les bords de mes papiers avant de les coller pour apporter du relief à ma page et pouvoir y glisser des embellissements. J'ai ensuite matté la photo avec une feuille du paper pad et je l'ai collée sur le carré du bas avec de la mousse 3D.

Next I got busy bordering my paper squares with pretty More than Words embellishments. I used die cuts, vellum pieces, stickers, and a chipboard word for the title. I also wrote a few words on a couple of labels from the ephemera pack.

Je me suis ensuite affairée à border mes carrés de papier avec des embellissements de la collection. J'ai utilisé des die-cuts, des découpes en calque, des autocollants et un mot en chipboard pour le titre. J'ai également écrit quelques mots de journaling sur des onglets de l'ephemera pack.

To finish I added a few more embellies around the picture and I completed my embellished borders with cute enamel shapes.

Pour finir, j'ai ajouté quelques embellissements supplémentaires autour de la photo et j'ai complété mes bordures d'embellissements avec des enamel shapes de la collection.

Happy Monday! I'm starting off the week with a new page I made with the beautiful Marigold line by Maggie Holmes and Crate Paper. It's a girly layout featuring pink, flowers and a winter picture of my girls at the beach a few years ago.

Je commence la semaine avec une nouvelle page que j'ai faite avec la belle collection Marigold de Maggie Holmes et Crate Paper. C'est une page féminine où figurent du rose, des fleurs et une photo des filles en promenade sur la plage il y a quelques hivers.

I wanted to use the pretty flowers from the floral ephemera pack for this page and decided to arrange them in a half circle on the background paper. Speaking of background paper, how beautiful is that light pink?! I used the B-side of the Capture This paper and I think it's gorgeous! I drew a half circle on my background using a pan, bent up the edges of the flowers for dimension and attached them in place with a bit of double-sided adhesive tape.

Pour cette page, j'avais envie d'utiliser les fleurs du floral ephemera pack et j'ai décidé de les disposer en demi-cercle sur le papier de fond. En parlant de fond, j'adore ce rose clair! J'ai utilisé le verso de la feuille Capture This que je trouve magnifique. J'ai tracé un demi-cercle sur mon papier de fond à l'aide d'une casserole, j'ai recourbé les bords des fleurs pour apporter du relief et je les ai collées sur le demi-cercle avec du scotch double-face.

I completed my floral wreath with branches and leaves from the floral ephemera pack and the puffy gold foil Thickers pack, a flower that I fussy cut from a 6x8 paper, a vellum butterfly from the ephemera pack, and cardstock stickers for the title. Next I backed the picture with a pink paper from the 6x8 paper pad, I adhered it in the wreath with foam squares and I tucked a cardstock sticker underneath it to echo the black and white bits in the wreath. I scattered gold and white enamel dots around the wreath and I added a couple of cute puffy hearts and gold ink on the right side of the page for balance and a bit of shine.

J'ai complété ma couronne de fleurs avec des branches et des feuilles du floral ephemera pack et du puffy Thickers pack, une autre fleur que j'ai découpée dans une feuille du paper pad, un papillon en calque de l'ephemera pack et des autocollants en cardstock pour le titre. J'ai ensuite matté ma photo avec une feuille rose du paper pad, je l'ai collée dans la couronne avec des carrés de mousse 3D et j'ai glissé un autocollant en cardstock juste en dessous pour faire un rappel des eléments noirs et blancs de la couronne. J'ai disséminé des enamel dots dorés et blancs autour de la couronne et j'ai terminé en ajoutant deux cœurs dorés et quelques gouttes d'encre sur le côté droit pour apporter plus d'équilibre et une touche scintillante à ma page.

I hope you are doing well. I have a new page to share with you today. It's a colorful travel layout featuring the Paige Evans Go the Scenic Route line and a sweet picture of my youngest girl in Ireland three years ago.

J'espère que vous vous portez bien. J'ai une nouvelle page à partager avec vous aujourd'hui. C'est une page de voyage toute colorée que j'ai réalisée avec la collection Go the Scenic Route de Paige Evans et une photo de ma petite dernière en Irlande il y a trois ans.

For this layout, I wanted to use the barcode strips at the top of the 12x12 patterned papers and decided to place them in a triangle shape on my background paper. I backed the photo using a sheet from the 6x8 paper pad and I adhered it inside the triangle with foam squares. I adorned my pic with a tab and a mandala die cut that I topped with typed journaling strips with the place and the date.

Pour cette page, j'avais envie d'utiliser les bandes avec la marque et le code barre en haut des papiers à motif et j'ai décidé de les placer en triangle sur mon papier de fond. J'ai matté la photo à l'aide d'une feuille du paper pad et je l'ai collée à l'intérieur du triangle avec des carrés de mousse 3D. J'ai décoré ma photo avec un onglet et un mandala de l'ephemera pack que j'ai ensuite surmontés de bandes de journaling avec l'endroit et la date.

I created the title with foam Thickers from the Pick-Me-Up collection and I made three clusters on the paper strips using flowers and leaves from the floral embellishment pack as well as cardstock stickers. I adhered them with foam squares to bring dimension to my layout. I also used a couple of hearts that I fussy cut from a 6x8 paper and that I placed around the picture. I finished my page by adding colorful puffy dots on each side of the triangle for balance.

J'ai créé le titre avec des Thickers en mousse de la collection Pick-Me-Up et j'ai réalisé trois clusters sur les bandes de papier avec des fleurs et des feuilles du floral embellishment pack ainsi que des autocollants en cardstock. Je les ai collés avec de la mousse 3D pour créer du relief. J'ai également utilisé des cœurs que j'ai découpés dans une feuille du paper pad et que j'ai placés autour de la photo. J'ai terminé en ajoutant des puffy dots colorés de chaque côté du triangle pour apporter plus d'équilibre à ma page.

I'm back with a new layout I'd like to share with you. It's a winter page about my oldest girl using the Marigold collection by Maggie Holmes and Crate Paper.

Je suis de retour avec une nouvelle page à partager avec vous. C'est une page d'hiver sur ma fille aînée que j'ai réalisée avec la collection Marigold de Maggie Holmes et Crate Paper.

I went with a light and soft background and chose the beautiful Becoming paper with its delicate pink pattern. Then I had a look through my Marigold supplies for inspiration and came across some tags in the ephemera pack. I cut a couple more tags in the 6x8 paper pad and I arranged them in a line on my background paper. Next I backed the photo using another 6x8 paper and I adhered it over the tags with foam squares.

Je suis partie sur un fond clair et doux en choisissant le beau papier Becoming et ses délicats motifs roses. J'ai ensuite passé en revue les embellissements de la collection à la recherche d'inspiration et je suis tombée sur les tags de l'ephemera pack. J'en ai découpé quelques autres dans le paper pad et je les ai disposés en colonne sur ma page. Puis j'ai matté ma photo avec une autre feuille du paper pad avant de la coller sur les tags à l'aide de carrés de mousse 3D.

I adorned the picture with pretty flowers from the floral embellishment pack, a banner from the ephemera pack and a puffy floral sticker. I also embellished the tags with die cuts, cardstock stickers and gold Thickers. I used a banner sticker for the title, wrote the date on a label sticker and tucked it under the photo. Finally, I added a bit of shine to my layout with a couple of gold enamel dots.

J'ai embelli ma photo avec quelques jolies fleurs, une bannière de l'ephemera pack et une autre fleur autocollante. J'ai également décoré les tags avec des découpes, des autocollants en cardstock et des Thickers dorés. J'ai utilisé une bannière autocollante pour le titre et j'ai écrit la date sur une étiquette que j'ai glissée sous la photo. Pour finir, j'ai ajouté une petite touche scintillante à ma page avec quelques enamel dots dorés.

Hi crafty friends!

Happy New Year! I'm stopping by today to share my first layout of the year. I used the gorgeous Midnight line by Cocoa Vanilla Studio to document a photo of my girls at the beach a couple of winters back.

Tout d'abord, bonne année et meilleurs vœux! Je suis de passage aujourd'hui pour partager ma première page de l'année. Je l'ai réalisée avec la superbe collection Midnight de Cocoa Vanilla Studio ainsi qu'avec une photo des filles à la plage il y a de cela quelques hivers.

To go with my winter picture, I chose a white patterned paper for the background and decided to spice it up with tone-on-tone circles. So I drew and cut circles in another sheet of the Sunset Strip paper, I distressed them using my craft scissors and arranged them in four lines on my layout. I backed the photo with a paper from the Midnight 6x8 paper pad and I placed it at the top of the page using foam squares to make it pop.

Pour aller avec ma photo d'hiver, j'ai choisi un papier de fond blanc et j'ai voulu l'agrémenter de cercles en ton sur ton. J'ai donc tracé et découpé des cercles dans une autre feuille Sunset Strip, je les ai distressés avec mes ciseaux de précision et je les ai disposés en quatre rangées sur ma page. J'ai matté la photo à l'aide d'une feuille du paper pad Midnight et je l'ai collée en haut de la page avec des carrés de mousse 3D pour la faire ressortir.

Time to start embellishing! I tucked fussy cut flowers, die cuts and a tab sticker under the photo and I topped it with a cute chipboard heart. I also adorned the circles using more die cuts and fussy cut flowers, cardstock and clear stickers, as well as a couple of enamel dots. I like how soft this layout looks and I hope you'll like it too!

Passons maintenant à la partie embellissement! J'ai glissé des fleurs découpées dans une feuille de la collection, des die-cuts et un onglet autocollant sous ma photo et je l'ai surmontée d'un joli cœur en chipboard. J'ai également décoré les cercles avec d'autres découpes de l'ephemera pack, des fleurs, des autocollants et quelques enamel dots. J'aime la douceur de cette page et j'espère qu'elle vous plaira aussi!

I hope you are doing well. I'm back with a winter layout I made with the beautiful Marigold collection by Maggie Holmes and Crate Paper. I used it to document a photo of my little one I snapped at the skating rink a couple of years ago.

J'espère que vous allez bien. Je suis de retour avec une page hivernale que j'ai faite avec la belle collection Marigold de Maggie Holmes et Crate Paper. Je l'ai associée à une photo de ma petite dernière prise à la patinoire il y a quelques années.

I began by looking for a background and chose the Full of Grace paper to echo the colors on my picture. Then I punched snowflakes in several papers from the 6x8 paper pad and I placed them in a heart shape on the background.

J'ai commencé par chercher un fond et mon choix s'est porté sur le papier Full of Grace pour rappeler les couleurs de ma photo. J'ai ensuite perforé des flocons de neige dans plusieurs feuilles du paper pad de la collection et je les ai disposés en forme de cœur sur le fond.

I completed my snowflake wreath with flowers and leaves from the floral embellishment pack, a vellum butterfly from the ephemera pack, and gold puffy stickers. I backed the photo with a 6x8 paper, placed it in the center of the wreath using foam squares and then tucked a paper doily under it. I finished my winter layout by adding enamel dots around the wreath and gold ink on two opposite corners of the page.

J'ai complété ma couronne de flocons avec des fleurs et des feuilles du floral embellishment pack, un papillon en calque de l'ephemera pack et des autocollants dorés. J'ai ensuite matté la photo à l'aide d'une feuille du paper pad, je l'ai collée au centre de ma couronne avec des carrés de mousse 3D et j'ai glissé un napperon en papier juste en dessous. J'ai terminé ma page d'hiver en ajoutant des enamel dots autour de la couronne et en faisant des taches d'encre dorée dans deux coins opposés de la page.

I hope you are doing well. I'm starting off the week with a new layout I made with the Paige Evans Go the Scenic Route collection and a sweet photo of my little one in New Orleans last year.

J'espère que vous allez bien. Je commence la semaine avec une toute nouvelle page que j'ai faite avec la collection Go the Scenic Route de Paige Evans et une photo de ma petite dernière en pleine pause gourmande à la Nouvelle Orléans l'année dernière.

I went with a fun design and decided to place colorful Go the Scenic Route embellies all around the page. I chose the bright Paper 3 for the background and started to arrange ephemera pieces and fussy cut flowers on the borders of my layout.

Je suis partie sur une mise en page tape-à-l'œil en me concentrant sur les bords de la page. J'ai choisi le joli papier 3 pour le fond et j'ai placé des fleurs découpées dans le papier 18 et des die-cuts de la collection tout autour de ma page.

I backed the photo using a floral paper from the 6x8 paper pad and I adhered it at the bottom of the page with foam squares. I adorned it with flowers from the floral embellishment pack and with a couple of die cuts. For the title, I used a cardstock sticker that I placed on a tab on the left side of the picture. I also topped some of the ephemera pieces with cardstock & puffy stickers and I used Thickers from previous Paige Evans collections to add the place and the date. To finish, I sprinkled colorful puffy dots all around the page.

J'ai matté la photo à l'aide d'un papier floral du paper pad et je l'ai collée en bas de la page avec des carrés de mousse 3D. Je l'ai ensuite ornée de fleurs et de die-cuts de la collection. Pour le titre, j'ai utilisé un autocollant en cardstock que j'ai placé sur un onglet à gauche de ma photo. J'ai également surmonté quelques die-cuts d'autocollants et j'ai utilisé des Thickers de collections passées pour mentionner l'endroit et la date. J'ai terminé en ajoutant des puffy dots colorés tout autour de ma page.
