Gather - Pink Paislee

Je commence la semaine avec une nouvelle page estivale que vous pouvez retrouver aujourd'hui sur le blog de Pink Paislee. J'ai utilisé la superbe collection Auburn Lane ainsi qu'une photo de moi et des filles prise dans un labyrinthe de maïs en août 2016.

I'm kicking off a new week with another summer page that is up today on the Pink Paislee blog. This time, I used the stunning Auburn Lane collection and a photo of me and my girls at a corn maze back in August 2016.

Pour aller avec ma jolie photo, je suis partie sur un design qui évoque l'été et j'ai décidé de faire un grand soleil sur ma page. J'ai commencé par chercher des papiers à motif pour mon fond et j'ai finalement opté pour le beau papier 12 que j'ai matté avec le verso du papier 11. J'aime beaucoup l'association du rose clair avec le gris!

To showcase my sweet August photo, I wanted to go with a fun design that screams summer and I decided to make a big sun on my page. I started by looking for patterned papers for my background and picked the soft Paper 12 that I backed with the reverse side of Paper 11. I love the combination of light pink and gray. So pretty!

Pour faire mon soleil, j'ai coupé ma photo en forme de cercle et je l'ai mattée avec un cercle un peu plus grand découpé dans une feuille jaune du paper pad. Je l'ai ensuite collée au centre de la page pour la faire ressortir et pouvoir y insérer mes rayons de soleil en papier.

To make my sun, I cut my photo into a circle and backed it with a bigger circle that I cut in a yellow paper from the 6x8 paper pad. I then adhered it in the center of the page with foam tape to make it pop and tuck my paper sunbeams under it.

Je me suis ensuite occupée des rayons de soleil. J'ai coupé des bandes en bas de plusieurs feuilles 30x30, je les ai à nouveau découpées de différentes longueurs et je les ai placées tout autour de la photo. Je les ai recourbées légèrement avant de les coller pour apporter encore plus de relief à ma page.

Next I got busy making the sunrays. I cut strips at the bottom of several 12x12 patterned papers, cut them again in different sizes, and placed them all around the photo. I bent them up a bit before sticking them down to add even more dimension to the page.

J'ai orné la photo de belles fleurs et branches du mixed embellishment pack et j'ai utilisé un puffy sticker ainsi que des cœurs de l'ephemera pack et du sticker book pour le titre. Enfin, j'ai complété ma page d'été avec quelques sequins scintillants du mixed embellishment pack.

I adorned the picture with beautiful flowers and leaves from the floral embellishment pack and I used a pretty puffy sticker for the title, along with cute hearts from the ephemera pack and from the sticker book. Finally, I completed my summer page with a few shiny sequins from the mixed embellishment pack.

Beach Fun - Pink Paislee

J'espère que vous passez une excellente semaine! J'ai une toute nouvelle page à partager que vous pouvez retrouver aujourd'hui sur le blog de Pink Paislee. L'été n'est plus très loin et nous allons le mettre à l'honneur ces deux prochaines semaines. Moi et ma famille vivons au bord de la mer et nous allons très souvent à la plage, notamment l'été. Pour ma page, j'ai utilisé la belle collection Turn the Page ainsi qu'une photo de ma petite dernière en pleine construction d'un château de sable il y a quelques années.

I hope you're having a nice week! I have a new layout to share that is up today on the Pink Paislee blog. With summer just around the corner, we will be sharing summery projects over the next couple of weeks. My family and I live by the sea and we often go to the beach, especially during summer. To make this page, I used the beautiful Turn the Page collection along with a sweet photo of my youngest girl making sand castles on the beach a few years back.

Pour aller avec cette jolie photo, j'ai opté pour un fond doux avec le beau papier 19. J'adore ces couleurs délicates et cet effet peinture!

To go with my dreamy picture, I wanted to use a soft background and I chose the pretty Paper 19. I just love those delicate colors and painty stripes!

Je n'avais aucune idée en tête avant de commencer et j'ai décidé de faire un cluster en haut de la page. J'ai collé la photo avec de la mousse 3D et j'ai ajouté de jolis embellissements de la collection tout autour.

I didn't have a precise design in mind before getting started and I decided to create a cluster at the top of the page. I adhered the photo with foam squares and added pretty Turn the Page embellies all around it.

J'ai glissé deux cadres et un onglet avec la date sous la photo et je l'ai ornée d'un joli oiseau de l'ephemera pack que j'ai surmonté d'un cœur autocollant. Il fallait aussi que j'ajoute de belles fleurs de la collection et j'ai superposé des découpes florales ainsi que d'autres die-cuts sous la photo.

I tucked two frames and a tab with the date under the photo and adorned it with a cute bird from the ephemera pack that I topped with a heart sticker. I also had to include beautiful flowers from the collection on my page and layered floral die cuts under the photo, along with a couple of ephemera pieces.

Pour le titre, j'ai utilisé des Thickers blancs de la collection Pick-Me-Up. Je les ai placés sur quelques cartes d'un des mini paper pads Turn the Page et je les ai glissées sous la photo. J'ai complété mon cluster avec de jolies découpes en bois et des autocollants et j'ai apporté la touche finale à ma page estivale en plaçant des fleurs découpées dans le paper pad en bas de la page. J'aime beaucoup la douceur de ses fleurs en ton sur ton!

For my title, I used white foam Thickers from the Pick-Me-Up line. I placed them on cards from one of the Turn the Page 2x2 paper pads and I arranged them under the picture. I completetd my photo cluster with cute wood veneer pieces and stickers and I put the final touch to my summer layout by adding a couple of fussy cut flowers at the bottom of the page. I love the soft and delicate touch those tone-on-tone flowers bring to my layout!

Life Is Good - Cocoa Vanilla Studio

Vous pouvez me retrouver aujourd'hui avec un tout nouveau projet sur le blog de Cocoa Vanilla Studio. Cette fois, j'ai utilisé la belle collection Bohemian Dream et j'ai fait une page estivale avec une photo de ma fille aînée dégustant une glace avec son papa il y a quelques années.

I'm sharing a brand new project on the Cocoa Vanilla Studio blog today. I had fun with the beautiful Bohemian Dream collection and I made a summery page using a photo of my oldest girl eating an ice cream with her dad a few years back.

J'adore les touches de violet dans cette collection et il fallait vraiment que j'utilise le très beau papier Abstract et ses jolis mandalas pour mon fond de page. 

I love the purple bits in the Bohemian Dream line and I just had to use the gorgeous Abstract paper for my background. How pretty is this mandala pattern?

Je suis partie sur l'idée d'une couronne et j'ai commencé à superposer des embellissements de la collection en cercle sur la page. J'ai utilisé des die-cuts, des découpes en calque et quelques autocollants en chipboard. J'ai collé quelques embellissements avec de la mousse 3D pour apporter du relief à ma page.

I decided to go with a wreath design and layered lovely embellishments from the collection on the page. I used die cuts, vellum accents and a couple of chipboard stickers. I adhered some embellies with foam squares to add dimension to my layout.

J'ai ajouté la photo sur le côté gauche de ma couronne et je l'ai ornée d'un onglet et de fleurs de l'ephemera pack ainsi que d'un autocollant sur lequel j'ai tamponné la date. Pour le titre, j'ai utilisé de jolis mots en chipboard que j'ai placé au centre de la couronne. J'aime beaucoup comment ces mots blancs ressortent sur le fond violet.

I added the photo on the left side of my wreath, adorned it with a tab and flowers from the ephemera pack and tucked an accessory sticker with the date under it. For the title, I used pretty Bohemian Dream chipboard words that I placed in the center of the wreath. I like how the white title pops against the purple background.

J'ai apporté la touche finale à ma couronne avec quelques enamel shapes oranges et j'ai ajouté des découpes en chipboard en haut et en bas de la page.

I put the final touch to my wreath with a couple of orange enamel shapes and I finally added cute flourishes from the chipboard title pack at the top and at the bottom of the page.

Hello Cards - Pink Paislee

Je suis de retour avec un nouveau projet que vous pouvez retrouver aujourd'hui sur le blog de Pink Paislee. Cette semaine est consacrée aux paper pads. J'adore les paper pads et je les utilise beaucoup pour faire des cartes, des superpositions ou encore matter des photos. Ici, j'ai fait un duo de cartes avec le paper pad Auburn Lane ainsi que quelques embellissements de la collection.

I'm back with a new project that is up today on the Pink Paislee blog. This week, we are focusing on paper pads. I'm a big fan of paper pads and I use them a lot on my projects. They are so handy to make cards, create layers, or back photos. Here I made a set of cards using the Auburn Lane 6x8 paper pad and some embellies from the collection.

J'ai commencé par faire les bases en pliant deux feuilles du paper pad en deux pour obtenir des cartes de format 10x15. Rien de plus simple!

I started by making the bases of my cards and folded two papers from the Auburn Lane paper pad in half to get 6x4 cards. So easy!

J'ai surmonté mes cartes de rectangles coupés dans le paper pad et j'ai cousu les bords de l'un d'eux avec du fil blanc pour ajouter un peu de texture. Je suis ensuite passée à la partie embellissement.

I topped my cards with rectangles that I cut in the paper pad and hand stitched one of them with white thread to add a bit of texture. I then moved on to the embellishing part.

Pour la première carte, je suis partie sur des cercles avec des puffy stickers, des enamel dots, des sequins, une découpe de l'ephemera pack et des cercles que j'ai découpés dans le paper pad. Pour le titre, j'ai utilisé un autocollant en cardstock que j'ai collé avec de la mousse 3D pour le faire ressortir.

For the first card, I went with circles using puffy stickers, enamel dots, sequins, a die cut from the ephemera pack, and circles that I cut in the Auburn Lane paper pad. For my title, I used a cardstock sticker that I adhered with foam squares to make it pop.

Pour la deuxième, j'ai placé un beau cadre en bois au centre de la carte et je l'ai orné d'un die-cut, de cœurs autocollants dorés et d'un fanion autocollant du sticker book pour le titre. J'ai découpé de jolies fleurs dans le paper pad, glissé quelques unes sous le cadre et collé les autres au bord de la carte. Enfin, j'ai disséminé des sequins roses du mixed embellishment pack sur ma carte pour apporter un peu d'éclat et de détail.

For the second one, I placed a beautiful wooden frame in the center of the card and adorned it with a die cut, shiny heart stickers, and a pennant sticker from the sticker book for the sentiment. I fussy cut pretty flowers from the 6x8 paper pad, tucked a couple of them under the frame, and adhered the others on the edges of the card. Finally, I scattered some pink sequins from the mixed embellishment pack on my card to add more detail and a bit of shine.

Precious Little Moments - Cocoa Vanilla Studio

I hope you're enjoying your weekend! I'm popping in today to share a new project that is up today on the Cocoa Vanilla Studio blog. I used the gorgeous More than Words collection and made a sweet page showcasing a photo of my girls snapped 6 years ago. These two are so cute together!

Je suis partie sur du bleu pour le fond et j'ai matté un grand carré coupé dans la feuille Treasure avec le papier Collage. J'adore ces teintes de bleu et la façon dont le papier bleu foncé encadre joliment le plus clair!

I went with blue for my background and backed a large square from the Treasure sheet with the Collage paper. How beautiful are these shades of blue? I like how the dark blue paper nicely frames the lighter one!

J'ai matté la photo avec un papier coloré du paper pad et je l'ai collée dans le coin inférieur droit de la page avec de la mousse 3D. Je suis ensuite passée à la partie embellissement et j'ai décidé de placer de jolies découpes de la collection à la jonction des deux papiers.

Next I matted the picture with a colorful paper from the 6x6 paper pad and adhered it with foam tape on the bottom right-hand corner of the page. I then got busy embellishing and decided to place all the embellies along the border of the Treasure paper for a fun and eye-catching design.

J'ai donc superposé des die-cuts et des découpes en calque le long de la jonction en collant certains embellissements avec des carrés de mousse 3D pour apporter du volume à la page. J'ai également orné la photo d'un fanion, d'un onglet de l'ephemera pack et de fleurs. Je suis fan des fleurs Cocoa Vanilla Studio. Elles sont magnifiques!

I layered die cuts and vellum accents all along the border and I adhered some of them with foam squares to add dimension to the page. I also adorned the photo with a cute pennant and a tab from the ephemera pack and tucked flowers under it. I'm a huge fan of CVS flowers. They're always so delicate and pretty!

Pour le titre, j'ai utilisé un chipboard autocollant et une bannière de l'ephemera pack que j'ai placés à gauche de la photo avec des fleurs en cardstock et en calque. Enfin, j'ai ajouté quelques enamel shapes ici et là pour apporter encore plus de couleur et de détail à ma page.

For my title, I used a chipboard sticker and a lovely banner from the ephemera pack and placed them on the left-hand side of the photo, along with more cardstock and vellum flowers. Finally, I scattered orange enamel dots and hearts on the page to add even more color and detail to my sweet layout.
