Je suis de retour pour partager une nouvelle page réalisée avec la collection Sketchbook de Bea Valint et American Crafts. 

Hello! 

I'm back to share a new layout using the Sketchbook collection by Bea Valint and American Crafts. 

Cette page met en scène une photo que j'ai prise il y a quelques mois d'une feuille en forme de cœur prise dans une toile d'araignée au coin de ma fenêtre. J'ai pris ça comme un petit mot d'amour de l'Univers et un rappel qu'on est sur Terre pour aimer. Pour la réalisation et le titre de ma page, je me suis inspirée de la chanson "Love Is All" de Roger Glover & Ronnie James Dio. En écho à cette feuille sur ma photo, j'ai décidé de faire une ribambelle d'embellissements en forme de cœur. Cette ronde joyeuse de découpes d'animaux, de fruits, de fleurs et de feuilles renvoie aussi au clip de la chanson. J'ai commencé par placer les embellissements de manière à former un cœur sur mon papier de fond. Avant de les coller, je les ai incurvés légèrement pour apporter du relief. Pour le titre, j'ai utilisé des Thickers qui rajoutent un peu plus de couleur à ma page. 

The star of the page is a photo snapped a few months ago of a heart-shaped leaf caught in a spider web outside my window. To me, it's like a love note from the Universe and a reminder that we are on Earth to love. I was inspired by the song "Love Is All" by Roger Glover & Ronnie James Dio for the composition and the title of my layout. To echo the leaf on the picture, I decided to create a garland of embellishments in the shape of a heart. This colourful assortment of animals, fruits, flowers and leaves is also a nod to the music video of the song. I started by placing the die cuts on the background paper so as to form a heart. Before taping them down, I curved them a little to add dimension. For the title, I used Thickers that bring even more colour to my page. 

Après avoir maté la photo avec une feuille du paper pad Sketchbook, je l'ai collée au centre du cœur avec de la mousse 3D pour la faire ressortir. Je l'ai surmontée d'un fanion et j'en ai glissé trois autres sous le côté droit. Pour finir, j'ai complété ma guirlande d'embellissements avec quelques fleurs et cœurs autocollants ainsi que des enamel dots. 

After backing the picture with a paper from the Sketchbook 6x8 pad, I adhered it in the center of the heart with foam tape to make it pop. I topped it with a banner and slipped three more of them under the right side of the photo. Finally, I completed my garland of embellishments with flower and heart stickers as well as enamel dots.

J'espère que vous allez bien. J'ai une nouvelle page à partager avec vous aujourd'hui. Je l'ai réalisée avec la belle collection Midnight de Cocoa Vanilla Studio et une photo de ma chienne Piper qui profite d'un rayon de soleil.

I hope you are well. I have a new layout to share with you today. I made it with the beautiful Midnight collection by Cocoa Vanilla Studio and a photo of my sweet girl Piper enjoying the sun. 

Pour aller avec ma photo, j'avais dans l'idée de faire un soleil avec des bouts de papiers et des embellissements. J'ai commencé par choisir un fond dans les tons clairs pour pouvoir utiliser plein de papiers colorés et pour faire ressortir la photo. J'ai maté cette dernière avec une feuille du paper pad Midnight et je l'ai collée dans le coin inférieur gauche de la page à l'aide de mousse 3D pour apporter du relief. Je suis ensuite passée à la réalisation de mon soleil en plaçant des morceaux de papier de manière à former deux cercles concentriques. C'est un moyen sympa d'utiliser les chutes de papier ! Je me suis aussi servie de quelques die-cuts, de mots autocollants transparents et d'une bannière en chipboard de la collection pour compléter mes cercles. 

To go with my picture, I decided to make a sun with pieces of paper and embellishments. First, I picked a light background paper to be able to use different colours for my sun and to make the photo pop. I backed the picture with a pretty ombre paper from the Midnight 6x8 pad and I adhered it on the bottom left-hand corner with foam tape to bring dimension. I then got busy creating my sun and placed bits of paper on the page so as to make two concentric circles. It's a fun way to use paper scraps! I completed my concentric circles with die-cuts, a couple of clear word stickers, and a chipboard banner from the Midnight collection. 

J'ai ajouté différents embellissements de la collection -des autocollants en cardstock et en chipboard, des die-cuts ainsi que des autocollants transparents- autour du cercle extérieur pour faire les rayons. Pour le titre, inspiré de la chanson "Let the Sunshine In", j'ai utilisé une découpe de la collection Midnight ainsi que des Thickers que j'ai collés directement sur la photo. J'ai terminé ma page en ajoutant quelques die-cuts et des cœurs autocollants sur et autour de la photo. 

I placed several embellishments -cardstock and chipboard stickers, die-cuts, as well as clear stickers- around the bigger circle to make the sunrays. For the title, inspired by the song "Let the Sunshine In", I used a Midnight die-cut and Thickers that I put directly on the picture. I finished my layout by adding some die-cuts and a couple of heart stickers on and around the photo.

Happy interNational Scrapbook Day! I have a new page to share with you today to celebrate this special day. I played again with the bright Horizon collection by Paige Evans and Pink Paislee and made a colorful layout with a photo of my oldest daughter in Santa Cruz 4 years ago.

Pour célébrer la journée internationale du scrapbooking, j'ai une toute nouvelle page à partager avec vous. J'ai à nouveau utilisé la collection Horizon de Paige Evans et Pink Paislee et j'ai réalisé une page colorée avec une photo de ma fille aînée prise à Santa Cruz il y a 4 ans.

I started by working on the background and picked Paper 02 and its pretty light pink pattern. I decided to create a colorful frame all around it and got busy fussy cutting it in Paper 12. I placed my fussy cut frame on my background paper and then added the photo on the bottom left corner of the page.

J'ai commencé par travailler sur le fond et j'ai choisi le papier 02 avec son joli motif rose clair. J'ai voulu créer un cadre coloré tout autour de ma page que j'ai découpé dans le papier 12. Je l'ai ensuite placé sur le papier de fond et j'ai ajouté ma photo dans le coin inférieur gauche de la page.

As the borders of my layout were already pretty busy, I kept the embellishing simple and clustered a few Horizon die cuts and flowers around the photo. I also added a couple of flowers on my frame. I put the final touch to my girly page by adding cute Whimsical foam Thickers on the right side of the page for the title.

Comme les bords de ma page étaient déjà bien colorés, j'ai eu la main légère sur les embellissements que j'ai regroupés autour de la photo. J'ai également ajouté quelques belles fleurs de la collection sur le cadre. J'ai apporté la touche finale à ma page avec des Thickers de la collection Whimsical que j'ai placés le long du cadre pour le titre.

I have a new Feed Your Craft project to share with you today. It's a colorful and fun page about my furry girl, featuring 'B/W Ampersand/And', 'Black & White Speech Bubble' and 'Kiss' mini flair as well as the Take Me Away collection by Paige Evans & Pink Paislee.

Pour commencer, j'ai tracé une silhouette de bouledogue dans un papier à motif à l'aide d'un gabarit, je l'ai découpé et j'ai cousu les bords. Pour le titre, je me suis inspirée de la chanson 'Sexy and I Know It' de LMFAO et j'ai utilisé des badges, une découpe en bois et des thickers colorés qui ressortent bien sur le fond noir.

I started by drawing a Frenchie on a patterned paper using a template. I then cut it and stitched the edges. For the title, I was inspired by 'Sexy and I Know It' by LMFAO and used mini flair badges, a wood veneer piece and colorful thickers that really pop against the black background. Look at that body, she works out!

J'ai ajouté deux bandes de papier en bas de la page et disposé la photo et des embellissements de part et d'autre de la silhouette: des découpes en papier, une découpe en bois, un tamponnage bouledogue, des boutons, un et d'autres jolis badges Feed Your Craft.

I added two paper strips at the bottom of the page and placed the photo and some embellies on either side of the paper Frenchie. I used ephemera, wood veneer, buttons, a paper clip, another little bulldog that I stamped on a piece of patterned paper and more pretty Feed Your Craft mini flair.

J'ai une nouvelle page à partager avec vous aujourd'hui, inspirée par le August Pinspire Me Mood Board de Paper Issues. J'ai utilisé sur ma page du noir et blanc avec la photo et le fond, des papiers à motif aux couleurs douces et j'ai repris le thème du transport avec des photos de ma petite dernière qui a pour caractéristique de courir tout le temps!

Je reviens à une de mes techniques favorites: les lettres découpées dans des papiers à motifs. J'ai également découpé les photos en lettres pour former une partie du titre (inspiré de la chanson de Lenny Kravitz) que j'ai complété avec des thickers sur lesquels j'ai passé une couche de gesso. J'ai aussi étalé un peu de gesso sur le papier de fond avec une vieille carte de fidélité pour mieux faire ressortir les lettres. J'ai placé la bande qui se situait en bas du papier de fond sous les lettres et j'ai terminé en ajoutant quelques embellissements: des fleurs, des stickers, un nœud, un bouton, une découpe en papier et des enamel dots.

I have a new layout to share with you today, inspired by the Paper Issues August Pinspire Me Mood Board. I used black and white on the photo and the background, patterned papers with soft colors and a photo of my little one, who's always running around, to go with the transportation theme.

I'm back to one of my scrapbooking favorites: hand cut letters. Here, I also cut the photos into letters to create the title (inspired by Lenny Kravitz's song), along with some thickers that I toned down with a coat of gesso. I also spread some more gesso on the background paper using an old store card to make the letters pop. I placed the background paper's branding strip under the letters and added some embellies: paper flowers, stickers, a bow, a button, a die-cut and enamel dots.

Je suis de retour avec une toute nouvelle page réalisée avec la collection Fancy Free de Paige Evans et Pink Paislee ainsi qu'une photo de ma fille aînée prise l'été dernier lors d'un concours de dessin à la craie. Pour la réaliser, j'ai pioché dans la liste du June Take 5 Challenge de Paper Issues et j'ai utilisé sur ma page du blanc, des papiers à motif, du cardstock, de l'encre et des fleurs.

Pour créer cette page, j'ai joué de mes ciseaux en découpant des cœurs dans différents papiers à motif. Je les ai pliés légèrement et les ai placés à la manière de tuiles dans deux coins opposés de la page. J'ai cousu le titre, inspiré d'une chanson des Innocents, en utilisant des morceaux de papiers sur lesquels j'ai imprimé les mots pour percer les trous. J'ai également fait des taches d'encre coordonnées aux couleurs que j'ai utilisées pour le titre. Pour placer la photo sans cacher le titre, j'ai fait des fentes avec mon cutter de précision au niveau de certaines lettres pour pouvoir y insérer la photo. J'ai terminé en agrémentant la photo d'un cadre, d'une découpe en papier et de fleurs découpées dans un papier à motif.

I'm back with a new layout using the Fancy Free collection by Paige Evans and Pink Paislee as well as a photo of my big girl snapped last summer during a chalk drawing contest. I played along with Paper Issues' June Take 5 Challenge by using white, patterned paper, cardstock, ink and flowers on my page.

To make this layout, I played with my craft scissors and cut lots of hearts in several sheets of patterned paper. I folded them gently and placed them just like tiles on two opposite corners of the page. I hand stitched the title, inpired by a song from a French band called Les Innocents, using pieces of paper on which I printed the words to pierce the cardstock. I also made ink stains with the same colors I used for the title. To place the picture without hiding a part of the title, I made slits along a couple of letters with a craft knife and tucked the pic in. Finally, I adorned the photo with a frame, a die-cut and hand cut flowers.

Je suis de passage aujourd'hui pour partager une nouvelle page avec la très jolie collection Fancy Free de Paige Evans pour Pink Paislee ainsi qu'une photo des filles posant sur la plage il y a quelques semaines.

J'ai commencé par réaliser un quadrillage au centre de la page avec les bandes que l'on trouve en bas des feuilles 30x30. J'ai collé les bandes légèrement de travers pour apporter ce côté spontané que j'affectionne beaucoup. Après avoir ajouté un napperon derrière la photo, je l'ai collée sur le quadrillage avec des carrés de mousse 3D. J'ai ensuite ajouté les embellissements, avec notamment le sticker nuage, à l'intérieur duquel j'ai tamponné le titre avec des encres de différentes couleurs.

I'm popping in today to share another layout using the beautiful Fancy Free line by Paige Evans for Pink Paislee and a picture of the girls posing on the beach a few weeks ago.

I started with making a grid in the center of the page using the branding strips. I sticked the strips slightly askew to give a more spontaneous touch to the layout. I just love my projects to have this playful look! After adding a paper doily behind the photo, I adhered it on the grid with foam squares. I then added the embellies, including this lovely cloud sticker in which I stamped the title using different ink colors.

Déjà de retour avec une nouvelle page inspirée par le challenge Into the Woods de Paper Issues pour lequel il fallait utiliser des papiers, des embellissements et / ou une photo en rapport avec les bois.

J'ai utilisé la collection Little You de Crate Paper, avec des lettres et des fleurs découpées dans des papiers imprimés, des épingles décoratives, des chipboards et des thickers, ainsi qu'une photo en format A4 de notre chienne prise lors d'une balade en forêt, où elle peut courir et se défouler. J'aime beaucoup le contraste entre les papiers et les embellissements tout doux et mignons et le titre de la page inspiré par la chanson "Freedom" de Rage Against the Machine!

I'm already back with a new layout inspired by the Paper Issues Into the Woods issue. I used the Little You line by Crate Paper, with hand cut letters and flowers, decorative pins, chipboard and thickers, as well as a large picture of our Frenchie, snapped during a walk in the woods where she can run freely. I really like the contrast between the cute and soft papers and embellies and the title of the page coming from the song 'Freedom' by Rage Against the Machine!

J'espère que votre semaine se passe bien!

Je suis de passage aujourd'hui pour partager une page qui fait la part belle aux papillons et à ma couleur fétiche, le rose. Elle met en scène une photo prise en 2011 de moi et de ma fille aînée  maquillée en papillon.

Pour la réaliser, je me suis inspirée d'un passage de la chanson "The Show Must Go On" de Queen que j'ai tapé à l'ordinateur puis imprimé. J'ai ensuite dessiné et découpé des papillons dans cette feuille ainsi que dans des papiers imprimés. Je les ai disposés sur un carré de cardstock blanc de manière à former les ailes d'un papillon et j'ai fait des taches avec de la peinture acrylique rose. Après avoir placé la photo sur des morceaux de papiers imprimés et y avoir ajouté quelques embellissements, je l'ai collée au centre du cardstock que j'ai lui même placé sur un papier imprimé.

I am back today to share a new page featuring lots of butterflies, pink and a picture from 2011 of me and my eldest girl with her sweet face painted like a butterfly.

The idea for this layout came from the photo and from lyrics from 'The Show Must Go On' by Queen. I printed the lyrics on a sheet of paper in which I cut several butterflies. I drew and cut more butterflies from sheets of patterned paper and I placed them on a piece of white cardstock so as to form butterfly wings. I made stains using pink acrylic paint, I layered the photo on pieces of patterned paper and adorned it with a couple of embellies. I then placed it between the butterfly wings with foam squares. Finally, I adhered the piece of white cardstock on a 12x12 sheet of patterned paper.

J'espère que votre weekend s'est bien passé. :)

Pour commencer cette nouvelle semaine, je viens vous montrer une page haute en couleurs, avec des papiers de la collection Finders Keepers d'Amy Tangerine. J'ai ressorti des photos de l'été dernier, alors que ma petite dernière improvisait une petite danse sur la plage. Les paroles de la chanson "Let's Dance" de David Bowie convenaient donc particulièrement bien à la situation!

Comme à mon habitude, la page fait la part belle aux papiers avec des fleurs et des feuilles découpées dans des papiers imprimés. Pour réaliser les bordures des triangles en haut de la page et du rectangle en bas, je me suis servie des bandes que l'on trouve en bas des feuilles 30x30. J'ai collé ces dernières ainsi que les photos avec des carrés de mousse 3D et j'ai incurvé les fleurs et les feuilles en les collant légèrement pour apporter du relief à l'ensemble.

I'm starting off this new week with a colorful layout using Amy Tangerine Finders Keepers papers and lyrics from David Bowie's 'Let's Dance' that go really well with the pictures of my little one dancing on the beach last summer.

Like most of my projects, this page uses lots of paper, with flowers and leaves that I fussy cut from sheets of patterned paper. To make the borders of the triangles at the top and of the rectangle at the bottom of the page, I used the strips that come at the bottom of the 12x12 sheets of patterned paper. I adhered them, along with the pictures, with foam squares and I only used a tiny bit of glue on the flowers and the feathers to give dimension to the page.

J'ai une nouvelle page à partager avec vous aujourd'hui et, une fois n'est pas coutume, elle est centrée sur moi uniquement. Elle est pleine d'éléments que j'aime: du rose, du papier floral, de la couture, des taches d'encre, un papillon et le titre inspiré d'une chanson de Nirvana, un de mes groupes préférés. J'ai également essayé de dresser mon portrait en quelques mots: pas facile comme exercice!

Je suis de retour avec une page 30x30 centrée sur ma fille aînée. J'ai été inspirée par les paroles d'une de ses chansons préférées, Diamonds de Rihanna, que j'ai transposées sur ma page avec des produits des collections Fancy That et Christmas on Market Street de My Mind's Eye.

J'ai commencé par faire des taches avec de l'encre dorée. J'ai ensuite découpé des bandes dans des feuilles de paper pad et je les ai disposées en grille sur le haut de la page de manière à former un diamant. J'ai cousu des lignes qui tombent du diamant à la manière de chaînettes et je les ai ornées de demi-perles, de diamants et de flocons découpés dans des papiers imprimés ainsi que de bandelettes de papier avec les paroles de la chanson. Après avoir ajouté un rub-on sur la photo, je l'ai placée sur le diamant en papier avec des carrés de mousse 3D et je l'ai accompagnée d'une découpe flocon surmontée d'un bouton et d'un cœur pailleté.

I'm back with a 12x12 layout using a picture of my eldest daughter, lyrics from one of her favorite songs - Diamonds by Rihanna - and supplies from the Fancy That and Christmas on Market Street collections by My Mind's Eye.

I started with making stains using gold ink on the background paper. I then cut strips in paper pad sheets and I placed them in a grid pattern so as to form a diamond at the top of the page. I stitched three lines falling from the paper diamond, just like small chains, and I adorned them with candy dots, diamonds and snowflakes that I cut in pieces of patterned paper as well as little strips of paper on which I printed the lyrics. I added a rub-on on the photo and then sticked it with foam squares on top of the paper diamond, along with a die-cut that I adorned with a button and an enamel heart.

J'espère que vous avez passé un bon weekend!J'ai trouvé un peu de temps pour scrapper samedi dernier et je viens vous montrer le résultat aujourd'hui.

C'est à nouveau une page en format A4 centrée sur ma petite dernière avec une photo prise en octobre dernier et un portrait rapide réalisé sous forme de journaling. J'ai utilisé la collection On Trend de My Mind's Eye ainsi que des paroles de la chanson "1234" de Feist.  A l'intérieur du cadre de journaling, j'ai collé des bandes de papier imprimé ainsi que les chiffres du titre en ton sur ton que j'ai fait ressortir en les collant avec de la mousse 3D, tout comme la photo. J'ai orné la bas du cadre d'un nœud en papier pailleté et j'ai ajouté sur la photo des stickers surmontés d'une bande de papier sur laquelle j'ai tapé la suite des paroles de la chanson.

I hope you had a nice weekend! I am back today to share a new page I made last Saturday.

It's another 8.5x11 layout all about my little one with a picture from last October and a few journaling lines describing her. I used the On Trend collection by MME as well as lyrics from the song "1234" by Feist. Inside the journaling frame, I placed strips of patterned paper along with the numbers I drew and cut in the same papers and that I sticked with foam squares to make them pop out. I adorned the bottom of the journaling frame with a glittery paper bow and I added a couple of stickers as well as a strip of paper, with the following part of the lyrics, on the photo.

L'hiver est tout blanc

Je suis de passage en ce début de semaine pour vous montrer une nouvelle page hivernale (oui je suis un peu en avance!) avec une photo datant de 2 ans de ma fille aînée dansant dans la neige et des paroles de la chanson "L'hiver est tout blanc" de Raymond Fau (souvenir d'école ^^). J'ai pu étrenner quelques achats scrap faits ce weekend, avec notamment ce beau papier de la collection Christmas Wishes de Pinkfresh Studio.

J'ai imprimé le refrain de la chanson sur un morceau de papier imprimé que j'ai ensuite découpé en bandes. Après avoir usé les bords avec des ciseaux, je les ai disposées autour de la photo, que j'ai matée avec un carré de papier et un napperon, de manière à former un flocon de neige. J'ai également fait quelques points de couture sur la photo et sur le papier de fond pour créer d'autres flocons que j'ai surmontés de papillons. J'ai fait d'autres papillons pour agrémenter la photo en utilisant des découpes en bois en forme de cœurs et des enamel dots.

I am stopping by today to share a new wintery layout with a picture from 2 years ago of my eldest daughter dancing in the snow and lyrics from the French song "L'hiver est tout blanc" by Raymond Fau that I learnt when I was at school. I know that it's fall and that winter is two months away but I couldn't resist scrapping this lovely pic and using this beautiful paper from the Christmas Wishes collection by Pinkfresh Studio that I just got last weekend.

I printed the lyrics on a piece of patterned paper that I then cut into strips. After wearing out the edges using scissors, I placed them around the photo to create a snowflake. I also did a bit of stitching on the picture and on the background paper to make some more snowflakes that I topped with paper butterflies. I made some more butterflies using heart-shaped wood veneer pieces and enamel dots and I placed them on two opposite corners of the picture.

Je suis de retour pour vous montrer le résultat de ma dernière séance scrap avec une page noire, blanche et jaune mettant en scène une photo de mon petit rayon de soleil ainsi que des paroles de la chanson 'Bliss' du groupe Muse.

J'ai commencé par tracé un cercle à l'aide d'une casserole et d'un gelato que j'ai ensuite estompé en utilisant un pinceau humide. J'ai découpé des bandes de papiers noirs et blancs dans différents paper pads et je les ai disposées les unes sous les autres au centre de la page. Je les ai collées uniquement en leur centre en recourbant légèrement les bords pour apporter un peu de volume et de légèreté à l'ensemble.

Après avoir cousu les bords de ma photo avec du fil jaune, je l'ai placée au centre de ma colonne de bandes de papier. J'ai ensuite tracé des cercles de différentes tailles dans des papiers imprimés jaunes, les ai découpés et j'ai tamponné un mot sur chacun d'eux pour créer le titre. Après les avoir collés sur le cercle de gelato, j'ai ajouté quelques embellissements sur la photo et dans deux coins opposés de la page.

I'm back to share the result of some scrap time I had yesterday: a yellow, black and white page featuring a picture of my cheerful little one and lyrics from 'Bliss' by Muse.

I started with drawing a circle in the middle of the page with a saucepan and a gelato. I then toned it down using a wet paintbrush. I cut strips of black and white paper from different 6x6 pads and placed them in a vertical line in the middle of the page. I only glued them lightly and I curved the edges a bit to bring some volume to the page and make it look aery.

After stitching the edges of the photo with yellow thread, I placed it in the middle of the page. I drew circles on several pieces of yellow patterned paper, cut them and added a word on each of them using alphabet stamps to create the title. I glued them following the gelato circle and added a few embellies on the picture and on two opposite corners of the page.

Dream a little dream of me

J'espère que vous avez passé un bon début de semaine. Moi oui en tout cas puisque j'ai reçu une commande de scrap hier et je n'ai pu résister à la tentation d'étrenner mes nouvelles acquisitions!

Pour réaliser cette page, j'ai commencé par faire des taches sur le papier de fond avec de l'encre noire et dorée. Une fois sec, j'ai disposé en étoile deux feuilles de paper pad (de la collection Wonder de Crate Paper) au centre de la page et j'ai coupé une autre feuille pour mater la photo que j'ai ensuite placée au milieu de cette étoile.

J'ai été une nouvelle fois inspirée par la musique en reprenant les paroles de la chanson 'Dream a Little Dream of Me' qui convenaient bien avec cette photo de ma petite dernière endormie dans son siège auto. J'ai tapé ces quelques paroles à l'ordinateur puis les ai imprimées. J'ai ensuite disposé les bandes autour de la photo et j'ai complété les mots manquants avec des autocollants (des marques Pinkfresh Studio et Seven Paper), des découpes en papier et une découpe en bois.

C'est une page que j'ai réalisée rapidement, sans trop réfléchir, et j'adore quand ça se passe comme ça! Et puis, je suis contente du résultat: je la trouve onirique et douce. Pour lui apporter plus de légéreté, j'ai collé les papiers uniquement en leur centre et ai recourbé légèrement les bords.

I hope you had a great week so far. Well, I did since I received some new scrap supplies yesterday and I just had to play with them straightaway!

To create this layout, I started with making stains using black and gold ink on the white cardstock. Once dry, I placed two sheets coming from the Crate Paper Wonder 6x6 pad in the middle of the page so as to make a star. Then, I trimmed another piece of paper to back the photo and I placed it on top of the paper star.

Once again, I've been inspired by music as I used lyrics from 'Dream a Little Dream of Me': I thought they would go nicely with this pic of my little one sleeping in the car. After typing and printing some of the lyrics, I placed the strips of paper around the photo and replaced the missing words with puffy stickers (by Pinkfresh Studio and Seven Paper), die cuts and a wood veneer piece.

This layout came together quickly and easily and I just love when it goes smoothly like this! Plus, I'm really happy with the result: I think it's dreamy and soft. To make the page look lighter, I glued the papers only in the middle and I curved the edges a little bit.

J'espère que votre semaine a été bonne. :)

Je suis de retour en ce vendredi pour vous montrer une nouvelle page avec mon obsession scrap du moment: les alphabets et autres thickers. Comme vous pouvez le voir, c'est une page à nouveau toute en mots et inspirée par la musique.

J'ai choisi des photos toutes récentes de ma petite dernière prises à son endroit favori: la plage, qui se trouve maintenant à quelques pas de chez nous depuis que nous avons déménagé. Elle peut maintenant assouvir sa nouvelle obsession: la collection de coquillages. Si vous regardez bien les photos, vous pouvez voir que son seau en est rempli!

Pour faire cette page, j'ai fait chauffer mes ciseaux avec beaucoup de découpage. En effet, comme je n'ai pas de machine de découpe ni de perforatrices, je fais avec les moyens du bord. Ici, j'ai d'abord tracé les formes en utilisant des gabarits improvisés (un verre pour les cercles et une découpe en bois pour les cœurs) et je les ai ensuite découpées avec des ciseaux de précision. J'ai également usé de mes tampons lettres, de mes encres Colorbox et de mon imprimante pour créer le titre et ma petite assistante m'a donné un coup de main en me laissant ses empreintes toutes dorées!

Happy Friday! I hope you had a great week. :)

I am back today to share a new layout with a pic of my youngest daughter at her favorite place: the beach. Now that we moved by the sea, we can stroll on the beach whenever we want and my little one can fulfill her new obsession: picking up shells. If you look closely at the photos, you can see she's got a bucket full of them!

But she's not the only one to be obsessed. Seems like letters and thickers are my new scrap obsession as I've been using them a lot on my projects lately, along with lyrics.

To create this page, I played with my crafting scissors. As I don't own a cutting machine or punches, I first drew the shapes using improvised templates (a glass for the circles and a wood veneer piece for the hearts) before handcutting them. I also used alpha stamps, some Colorbox ink and my printer to make the title and my little assistant gave me a hand by providing me with her golden handprints!

Aujourd'hui, j'ai une nouvelle page à partager avec une photo récente de ma fille aînée lors d'une matinée à la plage.

Je me suis à nouveau amusée avec la collection Office Suite de Fancy Pants en découpant des carrés dans les feuilles du paper pad 15x15, en utilisant quelques embellissements de l'ephemera pack ainsi que les découpes lettres pour le titre, tiré des paroles de "Bliss" du groupe Muse.

I have a new layout to share today with a picture of my eldest girl from a few days ago on the beach. 

I played again with the pretty Office Suite collection by Fancy Pants. I cut out squares from some sheets of the 6x6 pad and adorned some of them with die cuts from the ephemera pack. I also used the big letters, along with some thickers, to create the title inspired by Muse's song "Bliss".
