Ce mois-ci, Paper Issues s'est associé avec Stuck Sketches. J'ai donc fait une page inspirée du sketch de Laura Whitaker avec la collection Glitter Girl de Shimelle et American Crafts ainsi que des photos de ma petite dernière en route pour de nouvelles aventures sur sa trotinette.

I hope you had a great week! I'm up on the Paper Issues blog today with a new layout that I made for the March PI Partners Up challenge. This month, Paper Issues is partnering with Stuck Sketches. I played along and made a page based on the pretty sketch created by Laura Whitaker using the Shimelle Glitter Girl collection and pics of my little one off for new adventures on her scooter.

Pour commencer, j'ai découpé trois cercles de tailles différentes dans les papiers Work Hard, Countdown et Think Pink. J'ai cousu les bords du cercle le plus petit avec du fil blanc pour plus de détails et de texture. J'ai ajouté ma touche personnelle au fond en collant des bandes de papier à motif en bas de la page. J'adore la touche colorée et originale qu'elles apportent!

To start with, I cut three circles in the Work Hard, Countdown and Think Pink papers. I hand stitched the littlest one with white thread to add detail and texture to my layout. I spiced up the white background by adding patterned paper strips at the bottom of the page. I like the colorful and fun touch they bring!

J'ai ensuite superposé les cercles au centre de la page et j'ai collé les photos avec de la mousse 3D pour les faire ressortir. Je suis ensuite passée à la partie embellissement. J'ai glissé des napperons et une découpe de la collection sous les photos et j'ai utilisé d'autres die-cuts pour le titre.

Next, I layered the circles in the center of the page and I adhered the matted pics with foam squares to make them pop. I then moved on to the embellishing part. I tucked doilies from my stash and a Glitter Girl die cut under the photos and I used more ephemera pieces for the title.

J'ai orné mes cercles de jolis autocollants et de bandes de washi du sticker book Glitter Girl et j'ai placé une découpe holographique de l'ephemera pack en haut de la page. J'ai apporté la touche finale avec des enamel dots, des boutons en bois et des sequins du mixed embellishment pack.

I adorned my circles with pretty stickers and washi strips from the Glitter Girl sticker book and I added a cute lenticular shape from the ephemera pack at the top of the page. I put the final touch to my layout with enamel dots, wood buttons and sequins from the mixed embellishment pack.

J'ai utilisé la collection Moonstruck de Pink Paislee ainsi qu'une photo de ma petite dernière qui pose avec sa peluche devant une fresque du village de Cushendall en Irlande où nous venons de passer nos vacances.

I hope you are doing well! I'd like to share a new page with you today. I played along with the Paper Issues Sketchy Saturday challenge and took inspiration from the September sketch. I used the Moonstruck line by Pink Paislee and a photo of my little one posing in front of a mural in Cushendall, one of the beautiful places we visited during our recent trip to Ireland.

J'ai commencé par coller une bande de papier à motif à gauche du papier de fond. J'ai matté la photo avec une feuille du paper pad de la collection et je l'ai placée sur la bande et sur un autre morceau de papier avec de la mousse 3D. J'adore la façon dont la photo ressort avec cette bande de papier noir! J'ai ensuite glissé une carte de l'ephemera pack à droite de la photo et j'y ai ajouté le titre composé d'un mot en liège et de thickers de la collection.

I started my page by sticking down a patterned paper strip on the left hand side of the beautiful background paper. I matted the photo with a Moonstruck 6x6 paper and layered it on the strip and on another piece of patterned paper from the 6x6 pad. I love the way the picture stands out against the black paper strip! I tucked a card from the ephemera pack under the pic and added the title using a pretty cork word and thickers from the range.

J'ai orné la photo de die-cuts, d'une fleur découpée dans un des papiers à motif, d'un napperon, d'un tag, d'un peu de fil rose et d'un badge Feed Your Craft. J'ai glissé une autre carte de l'ephemera pack avec quelques mots de journaling en haut de ma bande de papier noir et j'ai terminé en ajoutant quelques embellissements: des bannières, des puffy stickers et des étoiles en liège.

I adorned the photo with a fussy cut flower, die cuts from the ephemera pack, a doily, a tag, pink thread and a Feed Your Craft flair badge. I placed another card with a bit of journaling at the top of the black paper strip and I finished off my layout by adding more Moonstruck embellies: banners, puffy stickers and cute cork stars.

It's Sketchy Saturday on the Paper Issues blog today! Here is my page inspired by the March sketch created by Amy Coose. I used the pretty Sweet Nothings line by Fancy Pants and pics snapped during a walk a couple of days ago.

J'ai commencé par placer des bandes de papier à motif en haut et en bas de la page. J'ai superposé d'autres morceaux de papiers ainsi que les photos au centre et j'ai ajouté des embellissements de la collection: un trombone, des découpes en papier et des puffy stickers. J'ai collé les photos et quelques découpes avec de la mousse 3D pour apporter du relief à ma page.

I started by placing paper strips at the top and at the bottom of the page. I layered more patterned papers and the photos in the center and added some lovely Sweet Nothings embellies: a paper clip, paper pieces and puffy stickers. I adhered the pics and some die cuts with foam squares to give more dimension to my layout.

Paper Issues January Sketchy Saturday

J'ai une nouvelle page à partager avec vous pour débuter le weekend! Je l'ai réalisée pour le Sketchy Saturday challenge que vous pouvez retrouver aujourd'hui sur le blog de Paper Issues  avec le nouveau sketch du mois de janvier proposé par Amy Coose. J'ai utilisé la très jolie collection Make A Wish de Cocoa Vanilla Studio ainsi qu'une photo des 5 ans de ma petite dernière.

I have a new layout to share with  you today to kick off the weekend! I made it for the Sketchy Saturday challenge that is up today on the Paper Issues blog, with a brand new sketch for January brought to you by Amy Coose. I used the super pretty Make A Wish line by Cocoa Vanilla Studio along with a photo of my little one celebrating her 5th birthday.

J'ai utilisé du cardstock blanc pour le fond et j'ai disposé des bandes découpées dans des papiers à motif de la collection en haut et en bas de la page. J'ai ensuite superposé la photo et des morceaux de papier au centre. J'ai découpé le tag et la bannière dans la feuille "Party Mix". J'ai découpé la bannière en deux et l'ai collée de chaque côté de la photo.

I used white cardstock for the background and placed patterned paper strips at the top and at the bottom of the page. I then layered the photo and trimmed patterned papers in the center of the layout. I cut out the tag and the banner from the "Party Mix" paper. I cut the banner in half and placed it on either side of the pic.

J'ai ensuite ajouté le titre et de jolis embellissements Make A Wish: des découpes en papier et en bois, un badge et un nœud. Enfin, j'ai terminé en saupoudrant ma page avec quelques sequins de la collection.

I then added the title and some pretty Make A Wish embellies: die cuts, wood veneer hearts, a flair badge and a bow. Finally, I sprinkled the page with shiny sequins from the bits & pieces pack.

Paper Issues December Sketchy Saturday

It's Sketchy Saturday on the Paper Issues blog, with a brand new sketch for the month of December. I played along and made an 8.5x11 page, using the Bloom, Gather and Oh Darling lines by Crate Paper and pictures of my oldest girl back when she was 3.

J'ai superposé des morceaux de papier à motif en haut et en bas de la page. J'ai collé les photos en haut avec de la mousse 3D pour apporter du volume et j'ai ajouté des die cuts de la collection Oh Darling.

I layered pieces of patterned paper at the top and at the bottom of the page. I adhered the photos at the top using foam squares for dimension and added Oh darling die cuts.

J'ai fait un cluster en bas de la page avec des puffy stickers de la collection Bloom et une fleur découpée dans un papier et j'ai terminé en ajoutant des thickers de la collection Gather et des papillons découpés eux-aussi dans un papier à motif.

I made a cluster at the bottom of the page using Bloom puffy stickers and a paper flower and put the finishing touch to my layout with Gather thickers and fussy cut butterflies.

It's Sketchy Saturday today on the Paper Issues blog with a brand new sketch for November. Here is the page I made using the Love Always collection by Cocoa Vanilla Studio and sweet photos of the girls on the beach last spring.

J'ai superposé différents papiers à motif de la collection ainsi que des découpes de l'ephemera pack. J'ai également fait quelques taches à l'encre noire et utilisé des lettres autocollantes pour le titre. 

I layered several patterned papers from the collection as well as die-cuts from the ephemera pack. I made stains with black ink and used puffy letter stickers for the title.

Je suis de retour au scrap après quelques jours de vacances en Espagne avec une page 30x30 mettant en scène une photo prise sous le soleil de Tarragone il y a quelques jours.

Pour réaliser cette page, je me suis inspirée du April Sketchy Saturday de Paper Issues. J'ai utilisé des papiers et des stickers des collections Bloom et Shine de Maggie Holmes pour Crate Paper ainsi qu'un badge Feed Your Craft, j'ai découpé des fleurs et des franges dans des papiers imprimés et fait des taches avec de la peinture acrylique rose.

How are you today?

I'm back to scrapbooking after a few days in beautiful and sunny Spain and I have a 12x12 page to share with you using a picture of my big girl snapped a few days ago in Tarragona.

This layout was inspired by Paper Issues' April Sketchy Saturday.  I used papers and stickers from the Maggie Holmes Bloom and Shine collections as well as a Feed Your Craft mini flair badge, I cut flowers and fringes from sheets of patterned paper and I made stains with pink acrylic paint.

Je suis de passage aujourd'hui pour vous montrer une carte inspirée par le March Creative Cards Challenge de Paper Issues. J'ai utilisé des produits Fancy Pants, avec la collection Office Suite ainsi qu'une touche de la ligne Happy Place et son joli papier imprimé Origami Club.

Pour créer la base de la carte, j'ai utilisé une feuille de paper pad pliée en deux. J'ai ensuite superposé des morceaux de papiers imprimés et orné la carte de découpes en papier, d'un bouton ainsi que de fleurs, d'oiseaux et de lettres découpées dans des papiers à motif.

I'm popping in today to share a card inspired by the Paper Issues March Creative Cards Challenge. I used Fancy Pants supplies with the Office Suite collection as well as a touch of the Happy Place line and its lovely Origami Club paper.

To create the basis for the card, I folded a 6x6 pad sheet in half. I then layered pieces of patterned paper and adorned the card with fussy cut flowers and birds, handcut letters, die-cuts and a button.

J'ai une nouvelle page à partager aujourd'hui avec une photo de ma fille aînée alors qu'elle n'avait que quelques mois. D'ailleurs, quand je lui ai montré la photo, elle croyait qu'il s'agissait de sa petite sœur, peut-être tellement habituée à être la grande qu'elle en a oublié qu'elle a été, elle aussi, toute petite...!

Pour faire cette page, j'ai suivi le sketch proposé par Ronda Palazzari pour le December Sketch Challenge sur le blog de My Mind's Eye. J'ai utilisé différentes collections MME et ajouté quelques petites touches personnelles par rapport au sketch avec des tags, des découpes en bois en forme de cœur ou encore un cadre découpé dans un papier imprimé que j'ai placé au dessus de la photo.

I have a new layout to share today using a picture of my eldest daughter back when she was a few months old. When she saw the photo, she thought it was her little sister, as if she was so used to being the big one that she forgot she once was a tiny little thing too...!

To make this page, I used the sketch created by Ronda Palazzari for the December Sketch Challenge on the My Mind's Eye blog. I mixed and matched various MME collections and added a few personal touches like tags, heart-shaped wood veneers or a frame that I cut out from some printed paper and placed on top of the photo.

Me voici de retour avec une page inspirée d'un sketch de Ronda Palazzari pour le October Sketch Challenge du blog My Mind's Eye.

 

J'ai ressorti une photo vieille de deux ans où je pose avec ma fille aînée pendant une balade en forêt. J'avais déjà pris pas mal de photos pendant la promenade et, juste avant de partir, je demande à ma grande de poser avec moi pour une dernière photo. Elle n'était pas très emballée, comme le montre sa tête sur la photo, mais a quand même accepté pour me faire plaisir. C'est tout elle: un peu grognon mais toujours soucieuse des autres... un peu comme sa maman en fait! ^^

I am back with a layout inspired by a sketch by Ronda Palazzari for the October Sketch Challenge on the My Mind's Eye blog.

 

I used a picture of me and my elder daughter taken two years ago during a walk in the woods. I had already snapped away at the girls during our walk and, just before leaving, I asked her to pose with me for one last photo. She wasn't very keen on the idea, as her face shows on the picture, but, still, she agreed to please me. This is so her: a bit grumpy but always caring... quite like her mum actually! ^^

Always face the sun

Êtes-vous allés à la plage depuis le début de l'été? Moi oui et j'aimerais encore y être en ce moment à me baigner avec cette chaleur! Je m'y serais presque crue cet après-midi en scrappant une photo de ma petite puce à la plage le mois dernier alors qu'elle était chez ses grands-parents... ^^

J'ai passé un agréable moment à faire cette page et les idées sont venues facilement (ce qui n'est pas toujours le cas!) grâce au sketch de Ronda Palazzari pour le July Sketch Challenge sur le blog de My Mind's Eye mais aussi grâce à mes derniers achats scrap très dorés ( notamment quelques produits des collections Market Street-Ashbury Heights, Now & Then-Mildred et Necessities-Metallic de MME).

J'ai commencé par tamponner des napperons de différents couleurs et faire des taches à l'encre dorée sur mon papier de fond. J'ai placé le papier à motifs et la photo sur les napperons. Puis j'ai tamponné plusieurs fois le titre 'Always face the sun' autour d'un des napperons pour représenter un soleil avec quelques rayons en sequins. Enfin, j'ai écrit le journaling et ajouté des embellissements.

Have you been to the beach since the beginning of the summer? I did and I wish I still was with this heat! So, to compensate, I made a layout using a photo of my little one on the beach last month, when she was at her grand-parents' for two weeks. It was the first time she stayed that long away from us. But everything went fine and she loved it, especially the beach! ^^

I had a great time putting this layout together and the ideas came very easily (which is far from being always the case!) thanks to Ronda Palazzari' sketch for the July Sketch Challenge on the My Mind's Eye blog but also thanks to the very golden scrap supplies I got a few days ago ( some products from the Market Street-Ashbury Heights, Now & Then-Mildred and Necessities-Metallic collections by MME).

I started with stamping doilies in various colors and making some stains with gold ink on the background paper. I then put the patterned paper and the picture over the stamped doilies. I stamped the title 'Always face the sun' around one of the doilies to represent the sun, along with some rays made of sequins. Finally, I wrote the journaling and added some embellishments.

Mon manège à moi, c'est toi

Voici une nouvelle page toute fraîche d'aujourd'hui avec une photo de mes puces prise à la fête forraine il y a quelques semaines. J'adore cette photo où j'ai réussi à capturer ce moment de tendresse: je suis fière de moi sur ce coup-là! :)

Pour réaliser cette page, je me suis inspirée du sketch proposé par Ronda Palazzari pour le June Sketch Challenge du blog My Mind's Eye. J'ai également emprunté quelques paroles de la chanson d'Edith Piaf "Mon manège à moi". Pour rester dans l'esprit du manège, j'ai légèrement réinterprété le sketch pour obtenir une page toute en cercles.

Today, I'm sharing another layout freshly made with a picture of my daughters at the funfair a few weeks ago. I adore this photo on which I managed to capture a sheer moment of tenderness. I'm proud of myself on this one! :)

For this layout, I was inspired by a sketch proposed by Ronda Palazzari for the June Sketch Challenge on the My Mind's Eye blog. I also used lyrics from Edith Piaf' song "Mon manège à moi". To go with the idea of the merry-go-round, I interpreted the sketch to get a page all about circles.

Bonjour!

Voici aujourd'hui une nouvelle page avec des photos de mes deux filles à peu près au même âge et dans la même situation avec, en prime sur les photos où elles sont plus grandes, les mêmes vêtements!

Pour cette page, je me suis inspirée du sketch de Ronda Palazzari pour le May Sketch Challenge du blog My Mind's Eye.

J'ai utilisé de nombreux papiers My Mind's Eye de différentes collections en repliant légèrement les bords pour donner du volume. J'ai surligné certains contours au stylo noir, utilisé un peu d'encre en spray et joué avec le papier qui sert de mat au papier de fond en y découpant des formes à certains endroits pour le laisser apparaître un peu plus.

Today, I'm sharing a layout using pictures of my daughters at the same age and doing the same thing, and, on the photos when they were bigger, with the same clothes: so funny and cute!

To make this layout, I was inspired by Ronda Palazzari' sketch for the May Sketch Challenge on the My Mind's Eye blog.

I used many MME papers from various collections and I slightly curved their edges to add some dimension. I used some pink spray ink, I highlighted some lines with a black pen and I played with the red paper I used as a mat for the background paper by cutting out some shapes in the background paper to let the red paper appear a little bit more.
