Aujourd'hui, j'ai une nouvelle page 30x30 à partager avec vous, pleine de rose, de kawai et de produits Crate Paper avec les collections Hello Love et Little You. Elle met en scène une photo de ma petite dernière, toute concentrée à construire un château de sable sur la plage l'été dernier.

L'idée de cette page est partie du cadre que j'ai découpé dans une feuille Canson puis peint légèrement avec du Color Shine Blush et un pinceau. J'ai disposé les différents éléments à l'intérieur et autour du cadre: des découpes en papier et en acétate, des nuages et des fleurs découpées dans des papiers à motif ainsi que des chipboards. J'ai collé la photo ainsi que le tag qui constitue le titre avec des carrés de mousse 3D pour les mettre en avant. Pour finir, j'ai fait quelques taches, toujours avec le Color Shine Blush, en bas à gauche de la page.

I am back to share a 12x12 layout, packed with cuteness, pink and Crate Paper goodies with the Hello Love and Little You collections. I used a picture of my little one that I snapped last summer on the beach while she was busy building a sandcastle.

The idea for this page came from the frame that I cut in a sheet of Canson paper and then lightly painted with some blush Color Shine and a paintbrush. I placed the different items in and around the frame: paper and acetate die-cuts, fussy cut flowers and clouds as well as chipboard pieces. I adhered the photo and the tag that I used as the title with foam squares to make them pop out. Finally, I made stains, still using some blush Color Shine, in the bottom left corner of the page.

Je suis de passage aujourd'hui pour partager une page 30x30 répondant au March Challenge de My Mind's Eye qui a pour sujet le "quilt pattern". J'ai suivi le thème à la lettre en choisissant une photo de ma fille aînée, alors âgée de 5 mois, en pleine sieste.

Je suis partie sur l'idée du patchwork en utilisant des carrés que j'ai découpés dans différents papiers imprimés provenant des paper pads Christmas on Market Street et Market Street Ashbury Heights. Je les ai placés en losange sur le cardstock pour former le fameux "quilt pattern". J'ai maté la photo avec un morceau de papier imprimé et j'y ai ajouté le titre, des fleurs découpées elles-aussi dans des feuilles de papier imprimé, ainsi qu'un badge et une découpe étoile. Dans les losanges blancs autour de la photo, j'ai placé des étoiles que j'ai dessinées avec un gabarit maison puis découpées dans du cardstock blanc. J'ai collé la photo ainsi que les étoiles avec des carrés de mousse 3D pour apporter du relief à la page, comme je le fais souvent.

I'm popping in today to share a 12x12 layout inspired by the My Mind's Eye March Challenge which is all about quilt patterns. As a quilt is made for sleeping, I chose a picture of my eldest daughter fast asleep back when she was 5 months old.

I went for the idea of the patchwork by trimming squares in several sheets of patterned paper coming from the Christmas on Market Street and Market Street Ashbury Heights 6x6 pads. I placed them in a diamond shape on the cardstock to create a patchwork quilt. I backed the photo with a piece of patterned paper and added the title along with fussy cut flowers, a flair pin and a star die-cut. On the white diamonds around the picture, I placed stars that I drew with a homemade stencil and then cut in a piece of white cardstock. As I like adding dimension to my projects, I adhered the photo and the stars with foam squares.

Ma jolie

Je suis déjà de retour pour partager une page A4, pleine de choses que j'aime: des cœurs, de jolis papiers, des enamel dots, un badge, du relief et une photo d'une de mes puces.

Pour réaliser cette page, j'ai dessiné des coeurs à l'aide d'un pochoir fait maison dans différents papiers imprimés de la collection Documentary de Dear Lizzy. Après les avoir découpés, je les ai pliés légèrement puis collés en leur centre sur le cardstock blanc. J'ai disposé le titre sur la photo avec des thickers et un badge et j'ai formé un cadre à l'aide d'enamel dots. Pour finir, j'ai collé la photo avec des carrés de mousse 3D.

I'm already back to share a 8.5x11 page full of things I love: hearts, pretty paper, enamel dots, a flair pin, dimension and a pic of one of my sweet girls.

To create this layout, I drew hearts, using a homemade stencil, in several sheets of patterned paper from the Dear Lizzy Documentary collection. I cut them, gently folded them and only adhered them in the center on the background paper. I added the title on the picture using thickers and a flair pin and I made a frame with enamel dots. Finally, I sticked the photo with foam squares.

Je suis de retour aujourd'hui pour partager une page 30x30 avec la très jolie collection C'est La Vie de Pink Paislee ainsi qu'une photo de mes petites filles modèles en plein concours de grimaces. Comme je l'ai écrit dans le journaling, je ne m'ennuie jamais avec ces deux-là!

J'ai commencé par découper une bande dans un papier imprimé que j'ai placée en haut du cardstock. Juste en dessous, j'ai ajouté une bande trouvée en bas d'une feuille 30x30 et j'ai placé des découpes provenant de l'ephemera pack sur et autour de la photo. J'ai ensuite ajouté des mots de chaque côté de la photo à l'aide d'un pochoir, de gesso et d'un pinceau. Sous la photo, j'ai disposé des fleurs découpées dans du papier imprimé et que j'ai colorées avec des gelatos et un pinceau humide. J'ai également utilisé cette technique sous les fleurs en essayant de faire des coulures, discrètes mais bien là. Voilà!

I'm back to share a 12x12 layout using the beautiful C'est La Vie collection by Pink Paislee and a picture of my sweet girls making silly faces. As the journaling says, I never get bored with these two!

I started with trimming a strip of patterned paper and placing it at the top of the cardstock. I added a branding strip just underneath and placed acetate and paper die-cuts, coming from the ephemera pack, on and around the picture. I then added words on either side of the photo using a stencil, some gesso and a paintbrush. Under the picture, I placed fussy cut flowers that I colored with gelatos and a wet paintbrush. I did the same under the flowers, making the mixture of gelato and water drip a little bit. Voilà!

Je suis de passage aujourd'hui pour partager une carte que j'ai faite à l'occasion de la fête des grands-mères qui avait lieu hier. 

Je suis partie sur l'idée du patchwork en découpant des carrés ainsi que les lettres du titre dans différents papiers imprimés provenant des paper pads des collections On Trend et Christmas on Market Street de My Mind's Eye. J'ai également cousu les bords de la base avec du fil blanc et j'ai ajouté des fleurs, découpées elles-aussi dans une feuille de paper pad, de part et d'autre des carrés. Avec le badge que j'ai placé au centre de la carte, elles apportent une touche vive et colorée.

I'm stopping by today to share a card I made for the girls' Nana as yesterday was Grandmother's Day in France. 

I went for the idea of the patchwork by cutting squares and letters in different patterned papers coming from the MME On Trend and Christmas on Market Street paper pads. I also sewed a frame on the card basis using white thread and I added fussy cut flowers on either side of the squares. Along with the flair button, they bring a bright and colorful touch to the card.

Je suis de passage pour partager une page A4 qui m'a été inspirée par le Take Five Challenge de Paper Issues. Il fallait choisir cinq éléments d'une liste à utiliser sur un projet et j'ai donc choisi les pois, une fleur, des enamel dots, deux papiers à motifs et un animal (ou plutôt plusieurs comme c'est le cas sur ma page!).

J'ai utilisé la collection Little You de Crate Paper ainsi qu'une photo de notre chienne alors qu'elle avait deux mois et qu'elle venait tout juste d'arriver chez nous. :)

I chose polka dots, two patterned papers, a flower, enamel dots and an animal (lots of animals actually!).

To create this layout, I used the Crate Paper Little You collection along with a photo of our dog back when she was 2 months old and just arrived at our place. So cute, right? :)

You give me butterflies

Je suis de retour avec une nouvelle page toute en peinture, en encre, en tamponnages et en papiers de la collection My Story de My Mind's Eye.

C'est la carte de journaling "you give me butterflies" qui a été le point de départ de cette page. J'ai donc cherché une photo de moi et de mon chéri pour l'illustrer et je suis tombée sur cette vieille photo qui a plus de dix ans!

J'ai commencé par peindre un cœur à l'aide d'un pochoir maison, de peinture acrylique rose et d'un pinceau. Une fois sec, j'ai réalisé des papillons à l'intérieur du cœur avec, une fois encore, un pochoir maison, du gesso et un pinceau. A l'extérieur du cœur, j'ai fait d'autres papillons, toujours avec le même pochoir, des tampons pour certains et de l'encre et un pinceau pour d'autres. J'ai ensuite fait des taches à l'encre rose et noire. J'ai écrit le journaling en angle droit dans deux coins opposés de la page et j'ai terminé en collant les cartes de journaling ainsi que la photo au centre du cœur avec des carrés de mousse 3D.

I'm back today to share a layout using paint, ink, stamps and MME My Story papers.

The starting point for this page was the 'you give me butterflies' journal card. So I looked for a picture of me and my partner to go with it and I came across this old photo from ten years ago!

I started with painting a heart in the middle of the page using a homemade stencil, pink acrylic paint and a paintbrush. Once dry, I painted a couple of butterflies with another homemade stencil and some gesso inside the heart. I made more butterflies across the page using the same stencil, stamps and black Versafine on some of them and black ink along with a paintbrush on others. I then made stains using black and pink ink. I wrote the journaling on two opposite corners of the page and I finished the layout by adhering the journal cards and the photo in the middle of the heart with foam squares.
