A lovely view

Hier soir, c'était soirée scrap à la maison et je viens donc vous montrer le résultat avec une page centrée sur des photos datant d'il y a 4 ans. J'ai à nouveau utilisé des produits de la collection On Trend de My Mind's Eye. Non, non, je ne suis pas du tout obsédée par cette marque...! ^^

Après avoir créé un cadre avec de la decorative tape sur le cardstock de fond, j'ai fait des coeurs avec un pochoir fait maison, une petite éponge à peinture (piquée à mes filles), du gesso et une pointe de peinture rouge pour obtenir un rose très clair. Une fois le fond sec, j'ai superposé plusieurs morceaux de papiers provenant du paper pad 15x15 après avoir usé les bords avec un ciseau. J'ai placé mes photos sur cette couche de papiers, j'ai ajouté des découpes en papier (dont une que j'ai découpée dans une feuille de paper pad) et enfin le titre composé d'un chipboard et de lettres autocollantes. Une fois encore, j'ai utilisé des carrés de mousse 3D pour donner plus de volume à la page.


Hello scrappy people!

Yesterday evening was scrap night for me and so, today, I am sharing the result with this layout based on sweet pics of my eldest girl and her dad on the beach 4 years ago. Here again, I used the On Trend collection by My Mind's Eye. No, I am not obsessed at all with this brand... I just can't get enought of these lovely colors and patterns (and maybe I'm a little bit obsessed too!). ^^

After creating a frame with decorative tape, I painted some hearts on the white cardstock using a homemade stencil, a painting sponge (that I pinched from the girls) and some gesso mixed with a drop of red paint to get a light pink color. Once the backgound was dry, I layered several pieces of paper coming from the 6x6 paper pad and placed the photos on top. I then added some die cuts: the flowers that I cut from a paper pad sheet and the sun coming from the Fancy Pants Office Suite ephemera pack. I finished by adding the title composed of a chipboard piece and some alpha stickers. Here again, I used dimensional foam pads to give some depth to the page.
