Adventure Calls Layout

Hi everyone!

I have a new layout to share with you today. I got my hands on the new Go the Scenic Route collection by Paige Evans & American Crafts and made a colorful page about my oldest girl going back to school last month. She looks so grown up on this photo!

J'ai une nouvelle page à partager avec vous aujourd'hui. J'ai mis la main sur la collection Go the Scenic Route de Paige Evans & American Crafts et j'ai réalisé une page colorée sur la rentrée des classes de ma fille aînée. Elle grandit trop vite!

I was inspired by the mandalas on the beautiful Paper 10 for the design of my layout and decided to create a wreath using paper leaves on the edge of the page. I started by drawing and cutting leaves in a couple of light papers from the 6x8 paper pad. I folded them in half and opened them back up to create dimension. I then adhered them in a circle on the right side of the page using adhesive tape that I placed under the crease of each leaf.

Pour réaliser cette page, je me suis inspirée des mandalas du magnifique papier 10 et je suis partie sur l'idée d'une couronne de feuilles en papier. J'ai commencé par tracer et découper des feuilles dans quelques papiers blancs à motif du paper pad de la collection. Je les ai ensuite pliées en deux avant de les déplier pour créer du relief. Puis je les ai disposées en cercle sur le côté droit de la page et je les ai collées à l'aide de scotch double face que j'ai placé sous le pli de chaque feuille.

I felt like adding a bit of color to my wreath and decided to spice it up with hearts that I fussy cut from a 6x8 paper and that I placed at the bottom of the leaves. Next I backed the picture with another colorful 6x8 paper and I adhered it inside the wreath using foam squares. Time to start embellishing now! I tucked a couple of die cuts and a pretty flower under the photo and I also topped it with an "adventure calls" ticket from the ephemera pack. I added some puffy dots and a few cardstock stickers around the leaves and I finished my back-to-school layout by placing three butterflies on the left side of the page.

J'ai eu envie d'ajouter un peu de couleur à ma couronne avec des cœurs que j'ai découpés dans une feuille du paper pad et que j'ai placés à la base des feuilles. J'ai ensuite matté la photo à l'aide d'un autre papier du paper pad et je l'ai collée dans la couronne avec des carrés de mousse 3D. Passons maintenant à la partie embellissement! J'ai glissé quelques die-cuts et une jolie fleur sous ma photo et je l'ai surmontée d'un ticket "adventure calls" trouvé dans l'ephemera pack de la collection. J'ai disposé des puffy dots et quelques autocollants près des feuilles et j'ai terminé ma page de rentrée en ajoutant trois papillons à gauche de la page.

High Voltage Layout

I hope you are doing well. I'm back with a new layout using the awesome Boys Rule line by Cocoa Vanilla Studio and a rad photo of my youngest girl and her dad snapped in Memphis last year. These two rock!

J'espère que vous allez bien. Je suis de retour avec une nouvelle page que j'ai réalisée avec la collection Boys Rule de Cocoa Vanilla Studio et une photo de ma petite dernière et de son papa à Memphis l'année dernière. C'est toujours rock and roll avec ces deux-là!

I just had to use the Boys Rule collection for this page. The color palette works great with this picture! I started by choosing a background and went with the Messed Up paper. To go with my two rock stars, I drew and cut some stars in the Fun & Games and Boy Stuff papers and then arranged them in lines on the background paper - three on the left and one on the right. 

Il fallait vraiment que j'utilise cette collection pour cette page. Les couleurs se marient tellement bien avec ma photo! J'ai commencé par choisir un fond et j'ai opté pour le papier Messed Up. J'ai ensuite tracé et découpé des étoiles dans les feuilles Fun & Games et Boy Stuff pour aller avec mes deux rock stars et je les ai disposées en colonnes sur le papier de fond: trois à gauche et une à droite.

I backed the photo using the Boy Stuff paper and I adhered it on the left side of the page with foam squares. I also adorned the pic and the stars with Boys Rule stickers, die cuts and chipboard pieces. I finished my page by adding clear stickers here and there.

J'ai matté la photo avec la feuille Boy Stuff et je l'ai collée à gauche de la page à l'aide de mousse 3D. J'ai ensuite orné la photo et les étoiles d'autocollants, de découpes et de pièces en chipboard de la collection. J'ai terminé ma page en ajoutant quelques autocollants transparents ici et là.

Good Times Ahead Layout

I'm back with a new page featuring the Stay Colorful collection by Dear Lizzy & American Crafts and a photo of our cute puppy Piper. She joined our family last year and we love her to pieces. She's such a sweetheart!

Je suis de retour avec une nouvelle page où figurent le collection Stay Colorful de Dear Lizzy & American Crafts ainsi qu'une photo de notre petite chienne Piper. Elle a rejoint notre famille l'année dernière et on est tous sous le charme. Elle est adorable!

I played with my craft scissors for this one and fussy cut lots of butterflies in one of the 12x12 patterned papers. I also cut pretty scallops from the Dream On paper and placed them at the bottom of a white cardstock sheet. I then topped the scallops with a couple of patterned paper strips and arranged my fussy cut butterflies all around the top of the page. I folded them up and applied adhesive tape only along the crease to give depth to my layout.

Pour réaliser cette page, j'ai joué avec mes ciseaux de précision en découpant plein de papillons dans une des feuilles 30x30 de la collection. J'ai également découpé des festons dans le papier Dream On et je les ai placés en bas d'un cardstock blanc. J'ai ensuite surmonté les festons de quelques bandes de papier à motif et j'ai disposé mes papillons le long des bords supérieurs de la page. Je les ai pliés avant de les coller au niveau du pli pour apporter du relief à ma page.

Next I backed my sweet photo with a light patterned paper from the 6x6 paper pad and I adhered it on the left side of the page with foam squares. I created a cluster around my photo using tags from the ephemera pack, word and pennant stickers, as well as a chipboard heart. I also tucked fussy cut flowers from another Stay Colorful 12x12 paper under the picture and I added more pretty flowers on the scallops.

J'ai matté ma jolie photo avec un papier clair du paper pad et je l'ai collée sur la gauche de la page à l'aide de carrés de mousse 3D. J'ai ensuite fait un cluster d'embellissements autour de la photo avec des tags de l'ephemera pack, des mots et fanions autocollants ainsi qu'avec un cœur en chipboard. J'ai également glissé sous ma photo des fleurs découpées dans une feuille 30x30 de la collection et j'en ai ajouté d'autres sur les festons.

For the title, I used a chipboard sticker and I placed it on the right side of the photo. I adorned a couple of embellies with cute heart stickers and I finished my layout by adding enamel dots and buttons from the Dear Lizzy Lovely Day collection near the flowers.

Pour le titre, j'ai utilisé un autocollant en chipboard que j'ai placé à droite de la photo sur les festons. J'ai orné quelques embellissements de cœurs autocollants et j'ai terminé en ajoutant des enamel dots et des boutons de la collection Lovely Day près de certaines fleurs.

Adore Layout

Hello everyone!

I have a new layout to share with you today. Its' a colorful and happy page using the Paige Evans Truly Grateful collection and a photo of my youngest girl snapped during a walk a few days ago.

Je suis de retour avec une toute nouvelle page à partager avec vous. C'est une page colorée et pleine de gaieté réalisée avec la collection Truly Grateful de Paige Evans et une photo de ma petite dernière prise pendant une promenade il y a quelques jours.

I came up with the design for this page while I was looking at the Truly Grateful ephemera pieces and came across the 'Right now' and 'Stay close to people who feel like sunshine' flags. I used one of them to draw more flags in several 6x8 Truly Grateful papers and create a wreath on the top left corner of my layout. I just love all these happy colors!

L'idée pour cette page m'est venue alors que je regardais les pièces de l'ephemera pack et que je suis tombée sur les fanions "Right now" et "Stay close to people who feel like sunshine". J'ai utilisé l'un d'eux pour en dessiner d'autres dans plusieurs feuilles du paper pad de la collection et ainsi créer une couronne dans le coin supérieur gauche de la page. J'adore cet arc-en-ciel de couleurs!

I backed my photo with another 6x8 paper and I adhered it in the wreath using foam squares to make it pop. I then adorned the picture with a couple of die cuts, a cute wood button, and a puffy word sticker for the title. I also embellished some flags with puffy stickers and pretty Truly Grateful flowers. I put the finishing touch to my fun page by adding colorful puffy dots around the bottom flags.

J'ai matté ma photo avec une autre feuille du paper pad puis je l'ai collée au centre de la couronne avec de la mousse 3D pour la faire ressortir. Je l'ai ensuite décorée avec quelques die-cuts, un bouton et un mot autocollant pour le titre. J'ai aussi orné quelques fanions de cœurs autocollants et de jolies fleurs de la collection. J'ai apporté la touche finale à ma page en ajoutant des puffy dots colorés sous les fanions.

Best Ever Layout

How are you doing? It's been a while since I shared a project with you. So I'm happy to be back with a new layout using the Midnight collection by Cocoa Vanilla Studio and a photo of my oldest girl who turned 13 last month.

J'espère que vous allez bien! Ca faisait un moment que je n'étais pas passée par ici pour partager un projet avec vous. Alors je suis ravie d'être de retour avec une nouvelle page que j'ai réalisée avec la collection Midnight de Cocoa Vanilla Studio et une photo de ma fille aînée qui a eu 13 ans le mois dernier.

I started by looking for a background paper to go with my black and white photo and chose the soft Inspired sheet with its pretty watercolor borders. I backed the picture with a pink ombré paper from the 6x8 paper pad and I placed it on the top right corner of the page. I tucked a couple of cardstock frames under the photo before adhering it with foam squares. I fussy cut pretty flowers in the Sophisticated paper and I arranged them at the bottom and on the left side of the pic, along the borders of the page.

J'ai commencé par chercher un papier de fond pour aller avec ma photo en noir et blanc et j'ai opté pour la feuille Inspired avec ses jolies bordures façon aquarelle. J'ai matté la photo avec une feuille rose du paper pad et je l'ai placée dans le coin supérieur droit de la page. J'ai glissé deux cadres en cardstock sous ma photo avant de la coller avec des carrés de mousse 3D. J'ai ensuite découpé des fleurs dans le papier Sophisticated et je les ai placées en bas et à gauche de la photo, le long des bords de la page.

I adorned the photo with some flowers and a heart from the ephemera pack. I then tucked a tab under the bottom frame and I also topped it with a couple of cute pennants. I finished embellishing my layout by adding cardstock leaves and clear stickers around the photo and the fussy cut flowers. I really like how soft this page looks. The Midnight collection is just perfect for feminine projects!

J'ai orné la photo de quelques fleurs et d'un coeur de l'ephemera pack. J'ai ensuite glissé un onglet sous le cadre du bas et je l'ai surmonté de quelques fanions. J'ai fini d'embellir ma page en ajoutant des feuilles en cardstock et des autocollants transparents autour de la photo et des fleurs qui l'encadrent. J'aime beaucoup la douceur de cette page. La collection Midnight est vraiment parfaite pour réaliser des projets féminins!

Sunshine Layout

Hey friends!

I'm back with a colorful spring page featuring the Paige Evans Truly Grateful collection and a photo of my happy girl playing in the garden. Rainbow and sunshine for the win!

Je suis de retour avec une page colorée et printanière réalisée avec la collection Truly Grateful de Paige Evans et une photo de ma petite dernière dans notre jardin. Arc-en-ciel et soleil sont au menu!

My idea for this layout was to create a rainbow using the colorful leaves from Paper 10. So I grabbed my craft scissors and started fussy cutting away. Once I had enough leaves in different colors, I arranged them in a semi-circle on the background paper: from green to yellow, orange, red, pink, purple, and finally blue leaves. To make sure my rainbow looked nice, I drew a semi-circle on Paper 17 using a round dish before I adhered the leaves starting with the bottom ones.

Mon idée pour cette page était de créer un arc-en-ciel avec les feuilles du papier 10. Je me suis donc munie de mes ciseaux de précision et j'ai commencé à découper. Une fois que j'ai eu assez de feuilles de différentes couleurs, je les ai disposées en arc-de-cercle sur le papier de fond en commençant par les feuilles vertes, puis les jaunes, les oranges, les rouges, les roses, les violettes et enfin les bleues. Pour avoir un bel arc-en-ciel, j'ai tracé un arc-de-cercle sur le papier 17 avec un plat rond avant de coller les feuilles en commençant par la rangée du bas.

I backed the photo with a light paper from the 6x8 paper pad and I adhered it with foam squares over the rainbow on the right side of the page. I then tucked patterned paper strips - which are actually binding strips from the 6x8 paper pad - under the picture to make sunbeams and turn my photo into a sun.

J'ai matté la photo avec un papier clair du paper pad et je l'ai collée avec des carrés de mousse 3D sur l'arc-en-ciel à droite de la page. J'ai ensuite glissé des bandes de papier à motif - qui sont en fait des bandes de reliure du paper pad - sous la photo pour la transformer en soleil.

I added a puffy word along the rainbow for the title and I adorned it with a couple of heart stickers. I embellished my rainbow with more puffy hearts as well as fussy cut acorns from Paper 10. I also topped the picture with pretty flowers from the floral embellishment pack and I placed a couple of puffy butterfly stickers at the top and at the bottom of the page. I completed my bright page by adding puffy dots and wood buttons near the butterflies and around the rainbow.

J'ai placé un mot autocollant le long de mon arc-en-ciel de feuilles pour le titre et je l'ai accompagné de cœurs autocollants. J'ai orné l'arc-en-ciel d'autres cœurs autocollants en ton sur ton ainsi que de glands découpés dans le papier 10. J'ai également surmonté ma photo de jolies fleurs de la collection et j'ai placé deux papillons autocollants en haut et en bas de la page. Enfin, j'ai terminé ma page en ajoutant des boutons en bois et des puffy dots près des papillons et de l'arc-en-ciel.

Cherish Little Moments Layout

Hello there!

I hope you are well. The Easter holidays are finally here and I celebrated this little break from homeschooling with a well-deserved crafting session. I used the More than Words collection by Cocoa Vanilla Studio and made a page with a Halloween photo of the girls.

J'espère que vous allez bien. Les vacances de Pâques sont enfin là et j'ai fêté cette petite pause dans notre routine d'école à la maison avec une séance de scrap bien méritée. J'ai utilisé la collection More than Words de Cocoa Vanilla Studio et j'ai fait une page avec une photo de mes petites sorcières prise à Halloween il y a deux ans.

I started my layout by placing a piece of the Noteworthy paper on the left side of the Treasure sheet to create my background. I then backed the picture with a patterned paper from the 6x6 paper pad and I adhered it with foam squares on the left side of the page.

J'ai commencé ma page en plaçant un morceau de la feuille Noteworthy sur le côté gauche du papier Treasure pour créer mon fond. J'ai ensuite matté la photo avec une feuille à motif du paper pad et je l'ai collée avec des carrés de mousse 3D à la jonction des deux papiers de fond.

Next I turned to the embellishing part and got busy arranging pretty More than Words die cuts and stickers along the left side of the layout where the two background papers meet. I also adorned the photo with vellum flowers, a couple of ephemera pieces, and a word sticker.

Je suis ensuite passée à la partie embellissement en disposant des die-cuts et des autocollants de la collection de part et d'autre de la photo, le long de la jonction entre les deux papiers. J'ai également orné ma photo de fleurs en calque, de découpes de l'ephemera pack et d'un mot autocollant.

I placed the title on the bottom right corner of the page using a chipboard word that I topped with a word sticker. I embellished it with a couple of vellum flowers and with cute chipboard and enamel hearts. Finally, I added some More than Words enamel dots on the left side of the page and my layout was complete.

J'ai placé un mot en chipboard surmonté d'un autocollant dans le coin inférieur droit pour le titre et je l'ai embelli avec des fleurs en calque et quelques cœurs en chipboard et en epoxy. Enfin, j'ai parsemé le côté gauche de ma page d'enamel dots de la collection.
