Every Moment Matters - Cocoa Vanilla Studio

Hi there!

I'm up on the Cocoa Vanilla Studio blog today with my first layout using the brand new Midnight collection. I love its soft colors and feminine patterns. Just gorgeous!

The Midnight patterned papers are all beautiful and I had a hard time picking one for my background. I finally settled on the Sunset Strip paper and its pretty ombre pattern to showcase my sweet photo snapped in Genoa last year.

Les papiers de la collection sont tous très beaux et j'ai eu du mal à choisir un fond. J'ai finalement opté pour le papier Sunset Strip avec son joli motif dégradé pour mettre en valeur ma photo prise à Gênes l'année dernière.

While I was going through the Midnight embellishments, I came across the frames from the ephemera pack and decided to use them. I moved them around the page for a bit and finally layered them at the bottom of my layout. I then backed the picture with a pink paper from the 6x8 paper pad and I placed it on the right side of the frames with foam tape. I like how my photo stands out against that gorgeous background!

Alors que je passais en revue les embellissements de la collection, je suis tombée sur les cadres de l'ephemera pack et j'ai décidé de les utiliser. Je les ai déplacés sur mon papier de fond pendant un moment avant de les superposer en bas de la page. J'ai ensuite matté la photo avec une feuille rose du paper pad et je l'ai placée à droite des cadres avec de la mousse 3D. J'aime bien la manière dont la photo ressort sur ce beau dégradé!

I tucked a tab sticker under the photo and moved on to embellishing the frames. I adorned them with die cuts, chipboard pieces, and stickers from the accessory sticker sheet. I adhered some of the frames and embellies with foam squares to add dimension to my layout.

J'ai glissé un onglet autocollant sous la photo et j'ai ensuite commencé à embellir les cadres. Je les ai ornés de découpes, de pièces en chipboard et d'autocollants en cardstock. J'ai collé certains cadres et embellissements avec des carrés de mousse 3D pour apporter du relief à la page.

For the title, I used a pretty flair button that I layered on a label from the ephemera pack. I wrote my journaling on another label and placed it under the frames. I also added a cute chipboard banner at the top of the page and I topped it with clear word stickers. I put the final touch to my layout by adding clear heart stickers here and there.

Pour le titre, j'ai utilisé un badge que j'ai superposé sur une étiquette de l'ephemera pack. J'ai écrit quelques mots de journaling sur une autre étiquette et je l'ai placée sous les cadres. J'ai également ajouté une jolie bannière en chipboard en haut de la page et je l'ai surmontée de mots autocollants transparents. J'ai apporté la touche finale à ma page avec quelques cœurs autocollants.
