Je suis de retour avec une nouvelle page que vous pouvez retrouver aujourd'hui sur le blog de Cocoa Vanilla Studio. Je me suis à nouveau amusée avec la superbe collection Wild at Heart ainsi qu'avec une photo des filles sur la plage.

I am back with a new page that is up today on the Cocoa Vanilla Studio blog. I played again with the beautiful Wild at Heart collection and a photo of the girls playing on the beach.

Cette fois, j'ai été inspirée par les beaux papillons du papier Mariposa et je suis partie sur l'idée de créer un grand papillon sur ma page. J'ai commencé par placer un morceau de cardstock blanc sur le papier Double Dot. J'ai paré la photo d'un joli cadre en chipboard, assorti aux bords de la page, et je l'ai collée au centre avec des carrés de mousse 3D.

This time, I was inspired by the pretty butterflies of the Mariposa paper and decided to create a big butterfly on my page. I started by backing a piece of white cardstock with the lovely Double Dot paper. I placed one of the pretty chipboard frames on the pic and adhered it in the center with foam squares. I really like this light blue frame with the black and white photo and how it echoes the borders of the page!

J'ai découpé des papillons dans le papier Mariposa, les ai pliés légèrement pour plus de relief et je les ai placés de chaque côté de la photo de manière à former des ailes de papillon. J'ai également ajouté quelques enamel dots pour apportrer une petite touche scintillante.

I fussy cut butterflies from the Mariposa paper, folded them for dimension and placed them on either side of the photo so as to make butterfly wings. I also added enamel dots to bring a bit of sparkle to my layout.

J'ai ensuite complété le corps de mon papillon en plaçant des mots autocollants de la feuille d'accessory stickers, un fanion de l'ephemera pack et un autocollant en chipboard pour le titre sous et au dessus de la photo.

I then got busy completing the body of my butterfly by adding word stickers from the accessory stickers sheet, a pennant from the ephemera pack and a chipboard sticker for the title above and under the photo.

Pour terminer, j'ai décoré le cadre avec une découpe, un joli nœud en papier et un des badges de la collection.

I finsihed off my page by adorning the frame with a die cut, a cute paper bow and one of the pretty Wild at Heart flair buttons.
