The Beauty of You

I hope you're having a great week! I have a new layout I'd like to share with you today. I've been playing again with the Maggie Holmes Willow Lane collection and made a pretty in pink page about my oldest girl. I can't get enough of the Willow Lane soft colors and beautiful florals! And those pom pom frames are just too cute!

J'espère que vous passez une bonne semaine! De mon côté, je me suis amusée avec la collection Willow Lane de Maggie Holmes et j'ai fait une page girly à souhait avec une jolie photo de ma fille aînée. J'adore les couleurs douces et les belles fleurs de cette collection! Et ces cadres bordés de pompons sont vraiment adorables!

I wanted to keep my layout light and soft to go with this photo of my pretty girl. So I picked the Bright Days paper for my background and decided to make two clusters on each side of the page. I just love using the edges of my layouts to create fun designs!

J'ai voulu faire une page toute douce pour aller avec ma belle photo et j'ai choisi le papier rose clair Bright Days pour le fond. J'aime beaucoup utiliser les bords de mes pages et c'est ce que j'ai fait ici en créant deux clusters de chaque côté du papier de fond.

I started by choosing a couple of light papers in the Willow Lane 6x8 paper pad and then placed them on the edges of the page. I layered two 6x8 papers on the left side and added the picture with foam squares to make it pop a bit more. I then adorned my photo with beautiful flowers, a couple of  butterflies, and a cute rainbow sticker.

J'ai commencé par choisir quelques papiers aux tons clairs dans le paper pad Willow Lane et je les ai placés de chaque côté de la page. J'ai superposé deux feuilles à gauche et j'ai ajouté la photo avec des carrés de mousse 3D pour la faire ressortir un peu plus. J'ai ensuite décoré ma photo avec de belles fleurs, quelques papillons et un arc-en-ciel autocollant.

For the title, I used a chipboard banner that I cut in half and placed in two pretty pom pom frames: the pink one next to my photo and the yellow one on the right cluster. I backed the frames with blue papers from the 6x8 paper pad to make the banner stand out even more. I also adorned the yellow frame with a floral sticker and tucked another gorgeous flower under it.

Pour le titre, j'ai utilisé une bannière en chipboard que j'ai coupée en deux et que j'ai placée dans deux cadres: le rose près de la photo et le jaune à droite de la page. J'ai matté les cadres avec des feuilles bleues du paper pad pour mieux faire ressortir la bannière. J'ai également orné le cadre jaune de jolies fleurs de la collection.

Next I moved on to the right side of the page and embellished it with more chipboard banners and a cardstock sticker. I added a couple of word stickers near the frames and completed my girly page with glittery hearts and pink enamel dots.

Je suis ensuite passée au côté droit de la page que j'ai embelli avec d'autres bannières en chipboard et un autocollant en cardstock. J'ai ajouté des mots autocollants près des cadres et j'ai terminé ma page avec des cœurs autocollants et des enamel dots roses.
