La vie en rose

Bonjour!

Je suis de retour avec une nouvelle page toute en produits My Mind's Eye et en format A4, une nouveauté pour moi! J'ai à nouveau utilisé une photo du shooting que j'avais fait des filles dans leur bain, à laquelle j'ai ajouté un filtre noir et blanc avec Pixlr-o-matic.

J'ai commencé par coller des bandes de papiers imprimés sur le papier de fond. J'ai déchiré un morceau de decorative tape sur la longueur et l'ai disposé de chaque côté des bandes de papiers imprimés. J'ai ensuite fait des taches avec de l'encre noire et du gesso, fait quelques points de couture avec du fil rose et disposé la photo et quelques embellissements  (provenant de la collection On Trend).

Pour le titre, j'ai imprimé un texte au sujet de mes filles sur une feuille de paper pad, puis j'ai tracé et découpé les lettres. Je les ai ensuite colorées avec un gelato et un piceau humide. Une fois les lettres sèches, j'ai tracé leurs contours au stylo noir.

Bilan des courses: j'ai beaucoup aimé m'essayer à ce nouveau format et je pense que ce n'est que la première page d'une longue série! :)

I am back today to share my first 8.5x11 layout, all in My Mind's Eye goodies. I used another picture of the girls in their bath to which I added a black and white overlay using Pixlr-o-matic.

After placing strips of patterned papers with bits of decorative tape on each side on the background paper, I made stains using black ink and gesso. I then made a few stitches with pink thread and I added the photo along with a few embellishments (from the On Trend collection).

To create the title, I drew and cut the letters on a paper pad sheet on which I had printed a text I wrote about the girls. I added a touch of vibrant pink to them using a gelato and a wet paintbrush. Once the letters were dry, I went along the edges with a black pen.

I really enjoyed working with this size and I feel like it's the first page of many to come! :)
