Hello love - Cocoa Vanilla Studio

L'amour est à l'honneur en ce moment sur le blog de Cocoa Vanilla et, pour illustrer ce thème, j'ai utilisé la magnifique collection Make A Wish ainsi qu'une jolie photo des filles prise l'été dernier.

Hi there!

I'm up on the Cocoa Vanilla Studio blog today sharing my first DT project! Yay! It's going to be all about love on the CVS blog for the next couple of weeks and, to illustrate this theme, I made a blue and pink page using the gorgeous Make A Wish line and a sweet picture of the girls snapped last summer.

Pour le fond, j'ai choisi le papier Hip Hooray et ses jolies rayures bleu marine. J'ai découpé une bande dans la feuille Party Dots, j'ai cousu les bords et je l'ai placée au centre de la page avec, de chaque côté, des bandes provenant des papiers Loot Bag et Daydream. J'adore les bleus de cette collection!

For the background, I went for the Hip Hooray paper and its lovely navy stripes. I cut out a strip from the Party Dots paper, stiched the borders and placed it in the center of the page, along with thinner strips from the Loot Bag and Daydream papers. I love the blues in this line! So pretty!

J'ai pris quelques découpes roses de l'ephemera pack et je les ai alignées à gauche de la page avec la photo. Je suis ensuite repartie sur le bleu et j'ai découpé des coeurs dans le papier Daydream. Je les ai placés en haut de la page et les ai ornés de lettres autocollantes bleues et d'autres découpes en papier de l'ephemera pack. J'ai plié légèrement les coeurs et les ai collés avec des carrés de mousse 3D pour plus de relief. J'aime beaucoup la douceur qu'apportent ces cœurs en ton sur ton à la page!

I picked some pink die cuts from the ephemera pack and lined them up on the left-hand side of the page, along with the matted photo. I then went back to blue and cut out hearts from the pretty Daydream paper. I placed them at the top of the floral strip and adorned them with blue alpha stickers and more paper pieces from the ephemera pack. I folded the paper hearts gently and adhered them with foam squares for dimension. I love the soft and dreamy touch those blue on blue hearts give to the page!

Pour le titre, j'ai utilisé un badge de la collection sous lequel j'ai glissé une découpe en papier et les ai collés sur la photo. Enfin, j'ai apporté une touche scintillante à ma page avec un nœud rose et des sequins du bits & pieces bag.

For the title, I made a little cluster on the pic with another die cut from the ephemera pack and one of the gorgeous flair buttons. The pretty pink bow and shiny sequins from the bits & pieces bag add the perfect finishing touch to my girly page!
