Follow Your Heart

A l'occasion de la journée mondiale du scrapbooking, Paige Evans et son équipe ont réalisé des projets avec la belle collection Pick-Me-Up, notamment avec les mini paper pads et les feuilles en calque. Voici la page que j'ai faite avec une photo de ma petite dernière en balade sur la plage!

Happy International Scrapbook Day! To celebrate this special day, Paige Evans and her team created projects featuring the Pick-Me-Up cut apart vellum paper and the 2x2 paper pads. I played along and made a page using a photo of my little one wandering on the beach. Here is my page!

Pour le fond, j'ai opté pour une couleur claire avec le papier 22 sur lequel j'ai placé en losange des cartes colorées provenant d'un des mini paper pads. J'ai matté la photo avec une feuille du paper pad et je l'ai collée avec de la mousse 3D au centre de la page.

For the background, I went with a light color and chose the pretty paper 22. I then placed colorful cards from one of the 2x2 paper pads like diamonds on the page. I backed my photo with a paper from the 6x6 pad and adhered it in the center of the page with foam squares.

J'ai orné la photo de jolis embellissements de la collection: des fleurs et une bannière en chipboard, des mots autocollants, des boutons et un bateau de l'ephemera pack.

I adorned the picture with pretty Pick-Me-Up embellies: chipboard flowers, word stickers, cute buttons from the haberdashery pack, a boat from the ephemera pack, heart stickers and a lovely chipboard banner.

J'ai ensuite tracé et découpé des cœurs dans un papier clair du paper pad. Je les ai pliés légèrement et je les ai collés entre les losanges autour de la photo. J'aime cet effet ton sur ton et la douceur qu'ils apportent à la page! Enfin, j'ai terminé en décorant quelques losanges avec des boutons, un cœur en en chipboard et une bannière découpée dans le paper pad.

Next, I drew and cut hearts in a light paper from the 6x6 pad. I folded them up and placed them between the colorful diamonds all around the photo. I love this tone on tone effect and the soft look they give to my page! Finally, I embellished a couple of diamonds with more buttons, a chipboard heart and a fussy cut banner from the 6x6 paper pad.
