One of a Kind - Cocoa Vanilla Studio

C'est à mon tour de partager un nouvelle page sur le blog de Cocoa Vanilla Studio aujourd'hui! Cette fois, j'ai utilisé la très jolie collection Bohemian Dream ainsi qu'une photo de ma petite dernière prête à partir à la chasse aux œufs de Pâques sur la plage en avril dernier.

Hi everyone!

It's my turn on the Cocoa Vanilla Studio blog today! I'm sharing a brand new layout using the super pretty Bohemian Dream collection and a photo of my little one ready to go egg hunting on the beach last Easter. So sweet!

Pour cette page, je suis partie sur du bleu et du violet et j'ai choisi le beau papier Wild & Free pour le fond. J'ai décidé de faire une fleur sur le côté gauche de la page. J'ai commencé par découper un grand cercle dans le papier Flower Child pour le centre de la fleur et des cercles plus petits dans plusieurs feuilles du paper pad pour les pétales.

I went with blue and purple this time and I chose the gorgeous Wild & Free paper for my background. For this layout, I wanted to make a big flower on the left-hand side of the page. So I started by cutting a large circle in the Flower Child sheet for the center of the flower and smaller circles in several papers from the 6x6 pad for the petals.

J'ai collé le grand cercle le long du bord gauche de la page. J'ai ensuite coupé les petits cercles en deux et je les ai glissés sous le plus grand. Je les ai recourbés légèrement avant de les coller pour apporter du volume. J'adore utiliser les bords de mes pages pour créer des designs amusants et originaux!

I adhered the large circle along the left border of the page. Then I cut the smaller circles in half and tucked them under the big one. I bent them up before sticking them down for dimension. I like using the borders of my layout to create fun and striking designs!

Pour rappeler le fond, j'ai matté ma photo avec un papier bleu du paper pad. Je l'ai ensuite collée avec de la mousse 3D au centre de la fleur et je l'ai ornée d'un fanion et d'un onglet de l'ephemera pack. J'aime beaucoup comment la photo ressort sur le beau papier Flower Child!

To echo the background, I matted my sweet photo with a blue paper from the 6x6 pad. I then adhered it with foam tape in the center of the flower and adorned it with a cute pennant and a tab from the ephemera pack. I love how the picture pops against the beautiful Flower Child paper!

J'ai ensuite décoré le centre de la fleur en plaçant des jolis embellissements de la collection le long des bords. J'ai utilisé des die-cuts, un cœur en chipboard et un badge pour le titre. Enfin, j'ai terminé ma page avec quelques enamel hearts bleus.

Next I got busy arranging pretty Bohemian Dream embellies along the edge of the big circle. I used die cuts, a chipboard heart, and a flair button for my title. I topped a couple of embellishments with blue enamel hearts, and my layout was complete!
