Love cards - Paper Issues

Ce mois-ci, Rachel O'Neal nous propose de réaliser un projet où figurent deux tags et six autocollants. J'ai donc décidé de faire deux cartes avec un tag et trois stickers chacune ainsi qu'avec les swag bags de novembre et de février et la collection Sweet Nothings de Fancy Pants.

I'm up on the Paper Issues blog today with a set of cards inspired by the April Roll The Dice challenge! This month, Rachel O'Neal asks us to create a project featuring two tags and six stickers. I decided to make two cards with a tag and three stickers each and I used the November & February swag bags along with Sweet Nothings by Fancy Pants.

Comme à mon habitude, j'ai plié des feuilles de paper pad en deux pour la base de mes cartes. Ici, j'ai utilisé des feuilles avec des motifs noirs et blancs du paper pad Sweet Nothings pour pouvoir me lâcher au niveau des couleurs sur le dessus des cartes! J'ai ensuite superposé de jolis papiers du swag bag de février, des napperons ainsi que des tags réalisés avec d'autres papiers du swag bag sur l'avant de mes cartes.

My favorite technique to create the base for my cards is to fold a 6x6 paper in half. Here, I used black and white papers from the Sweet Nothings paper pad to be able to go with bright colors on the top of the cards. I then layered pretty papers from the February swag bag on the top of each card. I also cut out tags from other papers from the February bag and placed them on top of my layers, along with doilies from my stash.

Pour le titre, j'ai utilisé des découpes de la collection Sweet Nothings et je les ai collées avec des carrés de mousse 3D pour les faire ressortir. Je me suis ensuite occupée de la décoration de mes cartes en ajoutant des autocollants donuts mignons comme tout, des stickers coeurs et de jolis trombones du swag bag de février, un coeur autocollant pailleté et des sequins du swag bag de novembre, d'autres découpes de la collection Sweet Nothings et des morceaux de twine.

For the sentiment, I used die cuts from the Sweet Nothings ephemera pack and adhered them with foam squares to make them pop. I then got busy embellishing and added cute donut stickers, puffy hearts and pretty paper clips from the February swag bag, a glittery heart sticker and sequins from the November bag, more die cuts from the Sweet Nothings ephemera pack and twine from my stash.
