Check out my new pink glasses

Bonjour!

Voici une nouvelle page pleine de couleurs pour terminer la semaine. Cette fois, je me suis inspirée d'une très jolie page de Paige Evans.

J'ai tracé et découpé les lettres du titre dans un papier imprimé et je les ai collées sur toute la hauteur de la page. J'ai utilisé des papiers Amy Tangerine et ces thickers roses pailletés d'American Crafts que j'aime beaucoup. J'ai ajouté quelques embellissements autour de la photo car le titre décore déjà bien la page à lui tout seul!

I'm back with a new and colorful page to finish off the week. This time, I drew my inspiration from a lovely layout by Paige Evans.

I drew the letters on a printed paper and cut them out. I lightly glued them on the background card stock so that the title almost stretches to the whole page. I used some bright and fun Amy Tangerine papers and these glittery pink thickers from American Crafts that I'm really fond of. I added only a few embellies around the picture as the title already is an embellishment of its own.

- embellissements / embellishments: thickers (American Crafts), coeur en cure-dents / toothpick heart (American Crafts-Dear Lizzy Polka Dot Party), découpes en papier / ephemera (My Mind's Eye-Jubilee Mint Julep & Sherbet), brad (My Mind's Eye-Jubilee Sherbet), enamel dots (My Mind's Eye), découpes en bois / wood veneer (Studio Calico), peinture acrylique / acrylic paint (Louvre), fil / thread, stylo noir / black pen.
