Enjoy The Moment - Pink Paislee

Hello everyone!

I'm sharing a new layout on the Pink Paislee blog today. I played with the super pretty Whimsical collection and made a colorful fall page using mainly patterned papers and a photo of my youngest daughter snapped during an October walk a few years back. The Whimsical line is perfect to showcase pictures of my happy girl!

Vous pouvez me retrouver aujourd'hui avec un tout nouveau projet sur le blog de Pink Paislee. Je me suis amusée avec la très jolie collection Whimsical et j'ai fait une page d'automne colorée avec principalement des papiers à motif ainsi qu'avec une photo de ma petite dernière prise lors d'une balade il y a quelques années. La collection Whimsical s'accorde parfaitement avec les photos de ma petite madame bonheur!

For this layout, I wanted to use the colorful rectangles from Paper 19. I started by cutting them out and I layered them at the bottom of Paper 16. How cute are those rainbow hearts? I bent the rectangles up a bit before sticking them down to add dimension to the page.

Pour cette page, j'avais envie d'utiliser les rectangles colorés du papier 19. J'ai commencé par les couper et je les ai superposés en bas du papier 16. J'adore ces cœurs aux couleurs de l'arc-en-ciel! J'ai recourbé légèrement mes rectangles avant de les coller pour apporter du volume à la page.

Next I topped my paper rectangles with two strips that I cut at the bottom of Paper 01 and Paper 16. I love all those bright colors popping off from the page!

J'ai ensuite ajouté deux bandes découpées en bas des papiers 01 et 16 au dessus de mes rectangles en papier. J'aime beaucoup toutes ces couleurs vives qui se détachent du fond clair!

I adhered the photo at the top of my layout with foam squares to make it stand out from the colorful background. I then adorned it with cute speech bubbles that I fussy cut in Paper 18.

J'ai collé la photo en haut de ma page avec de la mousse 3D pour la faire ressortir sur le fond coloré. Je l'ai ensuite ornée de bulles découpées dans le papier 18.

I also had to include Whimsical flowers on my page and I fussy cut some in Paper 03 and Paper 14. I then arranged them at the top of my layout around the picture. I just can't get enough of those beautiful flowers!

Il fallait absolument que j'inclue des fleurs de la collection sur ma page. J'en ai donc découpées quelques-unes dans les papiers 03 et 14 et je les ai disposées en haut de la page autour de la photo. Je suis fan de ces jolies fleurs!

For the title, I used rub-ons that I placed on one of the paper rectangles under the photo. Finally, I added fussy cut leaves from Paper 14 on a couple of rectangles and my fall layout was complete. I had so much fun putting this page together with the Whimsical papers and I love how happy it looks!

Pour le titre, j'ai utilisé des rub-ons que j'ai placés sur un des rectangles en papier sous la photo. Enfin, j'ai terminé ma page d'automne en ajoutant des feuilles découpées dans le papier 14 sur quelques rectangles. J'ai beaucoup aimé faire cette page avec les papiers Whimsical et j'adore sa touche colorée et joyeuse!

Grateful - Pink Paislee

Happy Monday! I'm starting off the week with a new project that is up today on the Pink Paislee blog. I played with the gorgeous Auburn Lane collection and made a layout about my girls and how grateful I am for them. I used a sweet photo taken in Venice last year and a couple of my scrappy favorites: pink and flowers!

Je démarre la semaine avec un tout nouveau projet que vous pouvez retrouver aujourd'hui sur le blog de Pink Paislee. J'ai utilisé la superbe collection Auburn Lane, une photo de moi et des filles prise à Venise l'année dernière ainsi que quelques petites choses que j'adore: du rose et des fleurs!

I started my layout by looking for a background in my Auburn Lane supplies and decided to combine Paper 02 and Paper 07. Those black and white flowers look great with that light pink!

J'ai commencé par chercher un fond dans la collection et j'ai décidé d'associer les papiers 02 et 07. Ces fleurs noires et blanches se marient bien avec ce rose clair!

I cut Paper 07 in half diagonally and placed it on Paper 02. My idea was to go for a diagonal design and arrange the embellies and the picture across the page where the two papers meet. I fussy cut pretty flowers in Paper 06, in the specialty vellum paper, and in the 6x8 paper pad and I placed them diagonally on my layout, along with the photo that I topped with one of the Auburn Lane wood veneer frames. How beautiful are the Auburn Lane flowers? I love them!

J'ai coupé le papier 07 en deux diagonalement et je l'ai placé sur le papier 02. Je suis partie sur une mise en page diagonale et j'ai décidé de positionner les embellissements et la photo à travers la page à la jonction des deux papiers. J'ai découpé de jolies fleurs dans le papier 06, dans le papier calque et dans le paper pad et je les ai disposées en diagonale sur ma page avec la photo que j'ai surmonté d'un cadre en bois. J'adore les fleurs de cette collection. Elles sont magnifiques!

I also added beautiful Auburn Lane fabric flowers to my diagonal cluster. These are great to add dimension and texture to a project!

J'ai également ajouté de belles fleurs en tissu Auburn Lane à mon cluster central. Ces fleurs sont parfaites pour apporter du relief et de la texture à un projet!

For my title, I used pretty Auburn Lane foam Thickers that I placed just above the photo. I also tucked a couple of pennant stickers under the wood veneer frame for extra detail.

Pour le titre, j'ai utilisé de jolis Thickers Auburn Lane que j'ai placés au dessus de la photo. J'ai aussi glissé deux fanions autocollants sous le cadre en bois pour plus de détails.

I completed my diagonal design with cute houses from Paper 05 and from the cardstock sticker sheet.  I also added rub-ons and a couple of stickers from the Auburn Lane sticker book on the right side of the picture. Last but not least, I sprinkled the page with pink sequins from the mixed embellishment pack. These are the perfect finishing touch!

J'ai complété ma diagonale avec des maisons du papier 05 et de la planche d'autocollants en cardstock. J'ai également ajouté des rub-ons et quelques autocollants du sticker book à droite de la photo. Enfin, j'ai parsemé ma page de sequins roses du mixed embellishment pack.

You're the Best - Cocoa Vanilla Studio

I'm back with a new layout that I'm sharing today on the Cocoa Vanilla Studio blog. I used the awesome Boys Rule collection and made a page all about my girls with a winter photo snapped two years ago.

Je suis de retour avec une nouvelle page que vous pouvez retrouver aujourd'hui sur le blog de Cocoa Vanilla Studio. J'ai utilisé la collection Boys Rule sur une page dédiée aux filles avec une photo prise lors d'une balade sur la plage il y a deux ans.

I love the cool patterns in this boy line. For this page, I wanted to focus on the stars and decided to layer a lot of them in a circle at the bottom of my layout. I started by looking for a background in the Boys Rule patterned papers and picked the beautiful Star Fall sheet. That dark blue ombre pattern is just gorgeous!

J'aime beaucoup les motifs de cette collection masculine! Ici, j'ai mis les étoiles à l'honneur et j'ai décidé de les superposer en bas de ma page. J'ai commencé par chercher un fond dans les papiers de la collection et j'ai opté pour le beau papier Star Fall. Ce dégradé bleu foncé est vraiment magnifique!

Next I drew stars using You Rock wood veneer shapes as templates in the Fun & Games paper. That cut apart sheet is so handy as it includes different colors and patterns. I cut the stars with craft scissors and placed them in a circle on the bottom right corner of the page. I then adorned my paper stars with die cuts, accessory stickers, chipboard pieces, a couple of clear stickers, and a flair button.

J'ai ensuite dessiné des étoiles en utilisant des découpes en bois You Rock comme gabarits sur le papier Fun & Games. Cette feuille est vraiment pratique avec ses couleurs et ses motifs variés. J'ai découpé les étoiles avec des ciseaux de précision et je les ai placées en cercle dans le coin inférieur droit de la page. Puis j'ai orné mes étoiles en papier de die-cuts, d'autocollants en cardstock, de pièces en chipboard, de quelques autocollants transparents et d'un badge.

I moved on to my photo cluster and adhered the black and white picture at the bottom of the page with foam tape. I topped it with a pretty frame from the ephemera pack and I embellished it with another paper star, a journaling card from the miscellany pack, accessory stickers, die cuts, a cute chipboard star, and clear stickers. For the title, I used an ephemera piece that I arranged under the photo.

J'ai collé la photo en bas de la page et je l'ai ensuite décorée avec des embellissements de la collection. Je l'ai surmontée d'un joli cadre effet bois de l'ephemera pack et je l'ai ornée d'une étoile en papier, d'une carte du miscellany pack, d'autocollants en cardstock, de die-cuts, d'une étoile en chipboard et d'autocollants transparents. Pour le titre, j'ai utilisé une découpe de l'ephemera pack que j'ai placée sous la photo.

Finally, I added a shiny touch to my layout with droplets of gold ink. I really like the combination of gold and dark blue. So pretty!

Enfin, j'ai apporté une touche scintillante à ma page avec des gouttes d'encre dorée. J'adore cette association bleu foncé et or!

Family Fun - Pink Paislee

Hello there!

I'm sharing my first November layout on the Pink Paislee blog today. I used the gorgeous Whimsical collection to make a fun family page with a picture of my girls and their dad snapped at an amusement park in Barcelona a couple of years ago. The happy Whimsical colors and patterns were perfect for this sweet family photo!

J'ai un toute nouvelle page à partager avec vous! Vous pouvez d'ailleurs la retrouver aujourd'hui sur le blog de Pink Paislee. J'ai utilisé la magnifique collection Whimsical ainsi qu'une photo des filles et de leur papa prise dans un parc d'attraction de Barcelone il y a quelques années. Cette collection pleine de gaieté était tout ce qu'il fallait à cette jolie photo de famille!

My idea for this page was to create a fun and eye-catching background using the super cute Whimsical swatch books. I went with a chevron design and placed several cards from one of the 2x2 mini paper pads on Paper 01. I love how those colorful squares stand out against the light background!

Pour cette page, je voulais créer un fond original et accrocheur avec les mini paper pads de la collection. J'ai décidé de faire des chevrons en plaçant plusieurs cartes d'un des mini paper pads sur le papier 01. J'aime beaucoup la façon dont ces carrés colorés ressortent sur le fond clair!

To make my photo pop off the page, I printed it in black and white and adhered it at the bottom of my layout with foam tape. I adorned it with a banner and a heart from the puffy sticker sheet and with fussy cut flowers and leaves from Paper 03. I'm such a big fan of florals and the Whimsical flowers are no exception. So pretty!

Pour faire ressortir ma photo, je l'ai imprimée en noir et blanc et je l'ai collée avec de la mousse 3D en bas de la page. Je l'ai ornée d'une bannière et d'un cœur de la feuille de puffy stickers ainsi que de fleurs et de feuilles découpées dans le papier 03. Je suis une grande fan de fleurs et celles de la collection Whimsical sont tellement jolies!

I then got busy embellishing the 2x2 squares with more beautiful flowers and cute butterflies that I fussy cut from Paper 14. I adhered some of them with foam squares to add even more dimension to my page.

Je me suis ensuite occupée d'embellir les cartes avec d'autres belles fleurs et avec des papillons que j'ai découpés dans le papier 14. J'en ai collés quelques-uns avec des carrés de mousse 3D pour apporter encore plus de relief à ma page.

For the title, I used rub-on words that I placed on the left side of the picture along the bottom chevrons. I also adorned it with cute rub-on stitches and hearts.

Pour le titre, j'ai utilisé des rub-ons que j'ai placés à gauche de la photo le long des chevrons. Je l'ai accompagné de cœurs et de points de couture de la feuille de rub-ons.

I went on with the rub-ons and added a couple of butterflies as well as a few more stitches along some of the 2x2 squares. Rub-ons are just great to bring extra interest and detail to a project!

J'ai continué sur ma lancée avec les rub-ons et j'ai ajouté quelques papillons ainsi que d'autres points de couture le long de quelques carrés. Les rub-ons sont parfaits pour apporter du détail à un projet!

Best Friends - Cocoa Vanilla Studio

I'm back with a new layout that is up today on the Cocoa Vanilla Studio blog. We're going gorgeous and girly this week and, to go with this feminine theme, I used the gorgeous Midnight collection and a photo of my girls snapped in Florence last year.

Je suis de retour avec une nouvelle page que vous pouvez retrouver aujourd'hui sur le blog de Cocoa Vanilla Studio. Cette semaine, nous mettons les projets féminins à l'honneur. Pour ma page, j'ai utilisé la superbe collection Midnight ainsi qu'une photo des filles prise à Florence l'année dernière.

As I don't have a cutting machine, I was excited to use the Midnight die cut and backing kit. It's just so handy and the white die cut looks super pretty against that soft background!

Comme je n'ai pas de machine de découpe, j'avais hâte d'utiliser le die cut and backing kit de la collection. Il est tellement pratique et cette grande découpe blanche rend vraiment bien sur ce fond clair et doux!

I wanted to use the die cut in a fun way and decided to cut it in half. I then placed the right part of the die cut along the left border of the page and the left part along the right border. I love the delicate and dreamy look this large die cut gives to my layout!

J'avais envie d'utiliser cette découpe de manière originale et j'ai décidé de la couper en deux. J'ai ensuite placé la partie droite de la découpe le long du bord gauche de la page et le côté gauche le long du bord droit. J'adore la touche délicate que cette grande découpe apporte à ma page!

My idea was to create a wreath following the mixed media pattern on the background paper. So I got busy arranging beautiful Midnight embellies in a circle all around my page. I used die cuts, chipboard pieces, a pretty flair button, and accessory stickers. I also adorned my wreath with cute chipboard hearts and a couple of clear stickers. For the title, I used a word sticker from the accessory sticker sheet that I cut in half and that I placed on a tag.

J'avais pour idée de faire une couronne en suivant le motif mixed media du papier de fond. J'ai donc disposé de beaux embellissements de la collection en cercle sur ma page. J'ai utilisé des die-cuts, des pièces en chipboard, un badge et des autocollants en cardstock. J'ai également orné ma couronne de jolis cœurs en chipboard et de quelques autocollants transparents. Pour le titre, j'ai utilisé un mot autocollant que j'ai coupé en deux et que j'ai placé sur un tag.

Next I matted my photo with a floral paper from the 6x8 paper pad and I adhered it in the center of the wreath with foam tape. I then embellished it with a flower sticker, a cute pennant, and more flowers from the ephemera pack. Finally, I added droplets of black ink here and there and my girly page was complete.

J'ai ensuite matté ma photo avec un papier floral du paper pad et je l'ai collée au centre de la couronne avec de la mousse 3D. Je l'ai ensuite décorée avec une fleur autocollante, un fanion et des découpes florales de l'ephemera pack. J'ai apporté la touche finale à ma page féminine avec quelques gouttes d'encre noire.
