Rise and Shine Card

It's been a while and I'm so happy to be back to share a new project with you! My youngest girl turned 8 a few days ago and I made her this birthday card using the Paige Evans Truly Grateful collection, pink and flowers.

Ca commençait à faire un moment! Je suis contente de vous retrouver pour partager un tout nouveau projet. Ma petite dernière a fêté ses 8 ans il y a quelques jours et je lui ai fait cette carte avec la collection Truly Grateful de Paige Evans, du rose et des fleurs.

First I folded a pink floral paper from the 6x8 paper pad in half to create the base for my card. I then topped it with a rectangle that I cut in another 6x8 paper and I scraped the edges with scissors to add texture.

Pour commencer, j'ai plié un papier floral rose du paper pad en deux pour créer la base de ma carte. Je l'ai ensuite surmontée d'un rectangle en papier découpé dans une autre feuille du paper pad et j'ai usé les bords avec des ciseaux pour apporter de la texture.

I cut two circles in a pretty ombre paper from the 6x8 paper pad and I placed them on the edge of my card so as to make an 8. I adorned them with a die cut, flowers and puffy dots and I tucked more flowers from the floral embellishment pack under them. I placed Whimsical foam Thickers along the right corners for the sentiment and I finished my birthday card by adding a wood button at the bottom. Those cute buttons are great to add dimension to a project.

J'ai découpé deux cercles dans un beau papier ombré du paper pad et je les ai disposés sur le bord gauche de ma carte de manière à former un 8. Je les ai ornés d'une découpe, de fleurs et de puffy dots et j'ai glissé une autre fleur juste en dessous. J'ai placé des Thickers en mousse de la collection Whimsical le long des coins droits et j'ai terminé en ajoutant un bouton en bois en bas de ma carte. Ces jolis boutons sont parfaits pour donner du relief à un projet.

Make Your Own Magic

I hope you had a wonderful weekend! I'm kicking off a new week with a colorful page using the Truly Grateful collection by Paige Evans & Pink Paislee and a fun picture of my girls from last Halloween. Who's ready to trick or treat?!

J'espère que vous avez passé un excellent weekend. Je démarre la semaine avec une page colorée que j'ai réalisée avec la collection Truly Grateful de Paige Evans et Pink Paislee ainsi qu'avec une photo des filles prise à Halloween dernier. Des bonbons ou un sort?!

For the background, I picked my favorite patterned paper from the Truly Grateful collection, Paper 10. I actually got it twice to be able to use both sides. I just love that soft purple! And I used some of the rainbow leaves from the other side on the card I shared in my last post.

Pour le fond, j'ai choisi mon papier préféré de la collection, le papier 10. Je l'ai d'ailleurs acheté en double pour pouvoir utiliser les deux côtés. J'adore ce mauve tout doux! Et j'ai déjà utilisé quelques feuilles aux tons arc-en-ciel que l'on retrouve de l'autre côté du papier sur la carte que j'ai partagée dans mon dernier post.

Next I cut triangles in two different sizes in several papers from the 6x8 paper pad and placed the big ones along each border of the page. I topped them with the smaller ones and then I adhered the photo in the center of my layout using foam squares. Time to embellish! I framed the picture with pretty Truly Grateful flowers and die cuts and I tucked cute puffy stickers under my paper triangles at the top and at the bottom of the page.

J'ai découpé des triangles de deux tailles différentes dans plusieurs feuilles du paper pad et j'ai disposé les plus grands sur chaque bord de ma page. J'ai ajouté les plus petits par dessus et j'ai ensuite collé la photo au centre de la page avec des carrés de mousse 3D. C'est parti pour la partie embellissement! J'ai entouré la photo de jolies fleurs et découpes Truly Grateful et j'ai glissé deux puffy stickers sous mes triangles en papier en haut et en bas de la page.

To finish, I added puffy stickers for the title along my paper triangles on each side of the page and I scattered more puffy stickers on the background paper to add even more color to my Halloween layout.

Pour finir, j'ai ajouté des mots autocollants pour le titre le long de mes triangles en papier de chaque côté de la page et j'ai disséminé des puffy stickers sur le papier de fond pour apporter encore plus de couleur à ma page d'Halloween.

You Are Loved Card

Happy World Card Making Day! To celebrate this special day, I'm popping in to share a card I made with the beautiful Truly Grateful collection by Paige Evans and Pink Paislee. I was inspired by Paper 10 with its colorful leaves and made a bright fall card.

Je suis de passage aujourd'hui à l'occasion du World Card Making Day pour partager une carte que j'ai réalisée avec la belle collection Truly Grateful de Paige Evans et Pink Paislee. J'ai été inspirée par le papier 10 avec ses feuilles colorées et j'ai fait une carte d'automne aux tons arc-en-ciel.

For the base of my card, I used a pretty plaid patterned paper from the 6x8 paper pad that I folded in half. I then topped it with a lighter piece of paper that I cut in another 6x8 sheet. I distressed its edges with scissors to add texture and detail to my card.

Pour la base de ma carte, j'ai utilisé une jolie feuille au motif plaid du paper pad Truly Grateful que j'ai pliée en deux. Je l'ai ensuite surmontée d'un rectangle de papier découpé dans une autre feuille du paper pad. J'ai distressé les bords de mon rectangle en papier avec des ciseaux pour apporter du détail et de la texture à ma carte.

I wanted to make a rainbow wreath on the top of my card using the leaves from Paper 10 and got busy fussy cutting them. I then arranged then in a half circle on my card, along with a few acorns that I also fussy cut from Paper 10.

J'avais pour idée de faire une couronne arc-en-ciel sur le dessus de ma carte avec les feuilles du papier 10 et je me suis donc affairée à les découper. Je les ai ensuite disposées en demi-cercle sur ma carte avec quelques glands eux-aussi découpés dans le papier 10.

I placed a die cut in the center of the wreath for the sentiment and I framed it with more fussy cut leaves and a small flower from the Truly Grateful floral embellishment pack. Finally, I added more color and dimension to my card by scattering puffy dots and a cute wood button around the wreath.

J'ai placé un die-cut au centre de ma couronne en guise de titre et je l'ai entouré de feuilles et d'une petite fleur du floral embellishment pack de la collection. Pour finir, j'ai ajouté du volume et encore plus de couleur à ma carte avec des puffy dots et un joli bouton en bois.

Back to School 2019

Hi everyone!

I have a new layout to share with you today. I finally got to scrap my girls' back-to-school pictures using the Maggie Holmes Heritage collection. I just love the vintage look of this beautiful line!

J'ai une toute nouvelle page à partager avec vous. J'ai enfin scrappé les photos de rentrée des filles avec la collection Heritage de Maggie Holmes. J'adore le côté vintage qu'a cette collection!

I started my page by looking for a background and I chose the Homestead paper. I really like that soft purple! I was inspired by the chevron pattern and decided to make paper chevrons using strips from the 6x8 paper pad. I arranged my paper strips following the chevron pattern of the background paper and created two lines at the top and at the bottom of the page.

J'ai commencé par chercher un fond et j'ai opté pour le papier Homestead. J'aime beaucoup ce mauve tout doux! Je me suis inspirée de son motif chevron et j'ai décidé de faire des chevrons en papier avec des bandes provenant du paper pad. J'ai assemblé mes bandes en suivant le motif du papier de fond et j'ai ainsi créé deux lignes en haut et en bas de ma page.

Next I made layers using patterned papers from the 6x8 paper pad on the edges of the page, right at the end of my chevron lines, and I topped them with the photos. I then added pretty Heritage embellies all around them. I used die cuts and tags from the ephemera pack, as well as puffy and cardstock stickers. For the title, I used alpha stickers from the clear sticker book and I placed them on two cute frame stickers.

J'ai superposé des papiers à motif du paper pad sur les bords de la page, aux extrémités de mes chevrons, et j'ai ensuite ajouté les photos que j'ai ornées de jolis embellissements de la collection. J'ai utilisé des découpes et des tags de l'ephemera pack ainsi que des autocollants. Pour le titre, je me suis servie de lettres autocollantes du clear sticker book que j'ai placées sur deux cadres autocollants.

I also adorned my paper chevrons with heart and butterfly stickers. I adhered them with foam squares to make them pop against the colorful chevrons. I finished my back-to-school layout by adding word stickers from the clear sticker book along the chevrons and near the pictures. I love the fun look those paper chevrons give to the page!

J'ai également embelli mes chevrons en papier avec des cœurs et des papillons autocollants que j'ai collés avec des carrés de mousse 3D pour les faire ressortir. J'ai terminé ma page de rentrée en ajoutant des mots autocollants du clear sticker book le long des chevrons et près des photos. J'aime la gaieté que ces chevrons en papier apportent à la page!

Everyday Brings a New Story

I'm popping in today to share a new page I made with the gorgeous Heritage collection by Maggie Holmes and Crate Paper. I used a photo of my youngest girl in our garden last spring and I paired it with patterned paper leaves and pretty Heritage embellies.

Je suis de passage aujourd'hui pour partager une nouvelle page que j'ai faite avec la superbe collection Heritage de Maggie Holmes et Crate Paper. J'ai associé une photo de ma petite dernière dans notre jardin au printemps dernier avec des feuilles en papier et de jolis embellissements de la collection.

The Sincerely paper is one of my faves from the Heritage collection and I was eager to use it. That floral wreath is just so beautiful! My idea was to layer paper leaves on the bottom half of the wreath. So I got busy drawing and cutting out leaves in several sheets from the Heritage 6x8 paper pad. I then distressed the edges with scissors to add texture to my layout and sprinkled gold ink over them. Once dry, I arranged them in a half circle on the background paper.

Le papier Sincerely est un de mes préférés de la collection et j'avais hâte de l'utiliser. Cette couronne de fleurs est juste magnifique! Mon idée était de superposer des feuilles dans la partie inférieure de la couronne. Je me suis donc affairée à dessiner et à découper des feuilles dans plusieurs papiers du paper pad. J'ai ensuite distressé les bords de mes feuilles à l'aide de ciseaux pour apporter de la texture à ma page et je les ai agrémentées d'encre dorée. Une fois sèches, je les ai placées en demi-cercle en bas de la couronne.

I matted the photo with a sheet from the 6x8 paper pad and I placed it on the top part of the wreath using foam squares. I then added a puffy sticker for the title at the bottom of the picture and I also adorned it with a floral die cut and a ribbon from the ephemera pack that I topped with a heart sticker.

J'ai matté la photo avec une feuille du paper pad et je l'ai collée en haut de la couronne avec des carrés de mousse 3D. J'ai ensuite placé un puffy sticker à cheval sur la photo et les feuilles pour le titre et j'ai orné la photo d'une découpe florale et d'un ruban que j'ai surmonté d'un cœur autocollant.

I tucked a vellum banner under the photo and I also added clear and puffy stickers all around it. I embellished my paper leaves with more stickers and I put the finishing touch to my layout with hearts and leaves from the Heritage clear sticker book.

J'ai glissé une bannière en calque sous la photo et j'ai ajouté des clear stickers et des puffy stickers tout autour. J'ai embelli mes feuilles en papier avec d'autres autocollants et j'ai apporté la touche finale à ma page avec des cœurs et des feuilles du clear sticker book de la collection.

Hello Sunshine

Hi everyone!

I hope you had a wonderful weekend! I'm back with a new layout I'd like to share with you. I got my hands on the beautiful Truly Grateful collection by Paige Evans and Pink Paislee and I made a bright page about my oldest girl and her favorite summer treat. The colors in this line are really gorgeous and I love those cute wood buttons!

J'espère que vous avez passé un excellent weekend! Je suis de retour avec une toute nouvelle page que j'aimerais partager avec vous. J'ai mis la main sur la très belle collection Truly Grateful de Paige Evans et Pink Paislee et j'ai réalisé une page lumineuse et estivale sur ma fille aînée et son pêché mignon. Les couleurs de cette collection sont vraiment magnifiques et j'adore ces jolis boutons en bois!

For this layout, I was inspired by Paper 22 and its pretty frames and I decided to create a diamond frame on my page using branding strips that I cut out from several Truly Grateful 12x12 papers. I bent the strips up a bit to add dimension to my layout and adhered them two by two so as to make a diamond. I like how the background frames echo my big paper frame!

Pour réaliser cette page, je me suis inspirée du Papier 22 et de ses jolis cadres et j'ai décidé de créer un cadre en forme de losange avec des bandes découpées en bas de plusieurs feuilles 30x30 de la collection. J'ai recourbé légèrement les bandes pour apporter du relief et je les ai collées deux par deux de manière à former un losange au centre de la page. J'aime comment les cadres du fond font écho à mon grand cadre en papier!

Next I matted the photo with a paper from the 6x8 paper pad and I placed it on the right side of my diamond frame using foam squares to make it pop. Time to start embellishing! I kept it simple and made two clusters around the picture and on the top part of the frame. I used die cuts, beautiful flowers from the floral embellishment pack, and a cute sun sticker that I tucked under the photo.

J'ai ensuite matté la photo avec une feuille du paper pad et je l'ai placée en bas de mon losange avec des carrés de mousse 3D pour la faire ressortir. Pour la partie embellissement, je suis restée simple et j'ai fait deux clusters autour de la photo et en haut du losange. J'ai utilisé de jolies fleurs de la collection, des découpes de l'ephemera pack et un soleil autocollant que j'ai glissé sous la photo.

Finally, I completed my summer page by adding puffy dots from the Truly Grateful Thickers pack as well as a couple of wood buttons. Those are just so pretty and I love the dimension they bring!

Enfin, j'ai complété ma page estivale en ajoutant quelques puffy dots et boutons en bois de la collection. Ces boutons sont tellement jolis et j'adore le relief qu'ils apportent!

Hello there!

I'm already back with a new page featuring the awesome Boys Rule collection by Cocoa Vanilla Studio and a picture of my little one and her dad at the Tibidabo amusement park in Barcelona. I had so much fun making this layout with the large cut file and backing kit and I love how it turned out. I hope you'll like it too!

Je suis déjà de retour avec une nouvelle page réalisée avec la collection Boys Rule de Cocoa Vanilla Studio et une photo de ma petite dernière avec son papa au parc Tibidabo à Barcelone. Je me suis beaucoup amusée à faire cette page à l'aide du large cut file and backing kit et j'aime beaucoup le résultat. J'espère qu'elle vous plaira aussi!

I wanted to use this star cut file in a fun a way and decided to cut the middle part off. I then adhered the top and bottom parts on the background paper included in the kit and I added two strips from the Happy Go Lucky sheet in the center of the page.

J'ai voulu utiliser cette grande découpe de manière originale en enlevant la partie centrale. J'ai collé les morceaux du haut et du bas sur le papier de fond fourni dans le kit et j'ai ajouté deux bandes découpées dans la feuille Happy Go Lucky au centre de la page.

I trimmed the photo so that it would fit between the two strips and I adhered it with foam squares to make it stand out a bit more from the background. I then arranged a couple of frames from the miscellany pack between the strips and I topped them with a die cut for the title. I also tucked a cute arrow in the title for extra detail.

J'ai coupé les bords de ma photo pour pouvoir la placer entre les deux bandes et je l'ai collée avec des carrés de mousse 3D pour la faire ressortir d'avantage. J'ai ensuite disposé quelques cadres du miscellany pack entre les bandes et je les ai surmontés d'un mot en cardstock pour le titre. J'ai inséré une flèche de l'ephemera pack dans mon titre pour plus de détail.

I added a fun chipboard bubble on the photo and moved on to embellishing the cut file and the background with die cuts, cardstock stickers, chipboard pieces and a cute flair button. I really like how the white cut file pops against the dark background!

J'ai ajouté une bulle en chipboard sur ma photo et j'ai embelli le fond avec des die-cuts, des autocollants en cardstock, des pièces en chipboard et un badge. J'adore la contaste entre les étoiles blanches et le fond noir!

I'm back with a new layout about our trip to Italy two years ago. To document this photo snapped in Milan, I used the beautiful Horizon collection by Paige Evans and Pink Paislee. I just love how the bright colors pop against the white background!

Je suis de retour avec une nouvelle page sur notre voyage en Italie il y a deux ans. J'ai associé une photo des filles à Milan avec la belle collection Horizon de Paige Evans et Pink Paislee. Rien de tel qu'un fond blanc pour faire ressortir toutes ces jolies couleurs!

As I used up all my Horizon 12x12 patterned papers, I went with white cardstock for the background and I combined it with branding strips and a chevron I had left from Paper 14. I started by placing several strips at the top of the page and added the large chevron at the bottom. I bent them up a bit before sticking them down to add dimension to my layout.

Comme j'ai utilisé toutes les feuilles 30x30 que j'avais de cette collection, j'ai opté pour du cardstock blanc pour le fond et je l'ai associé avec des bandes découpées en bas des papiers à motif ainsi qu'avec un chevron qu'il me restait du papier 14. J'ai commencé par placer les bandes en haut de la page et j'ai ajouté le chevron juste en dessous. J'ai replié légèrement les bords de mes papiers avant de les coller pour apporter du volume à la page.

I adhered the photo with foam squares at the top of the page and then moved on to embellishing my layout. I adorned the strips with Horizon die cuts and flowers and placed a colorful chipboard banner under the picture. I also topped the chevron with a globe and a banner from the ephemera pack for the title and added Whimsical foam Thickers to indicate the place where the picture was taken. Finally I tucked chipboard flowers under the chevron and scattered white enamel dots on the page.

J'ai collé la photo en haut de la page avec des carrés de mousse 3D et je suis passée à la partie embellissement. J'ai orné les bandes de die cuts et de fleurs de la collection et j'ai disposé une bannière colorée sous la photo. J'ai également décoré le chevron avec un globe et une bannière de l'ephemera pack pour le titre et j'ai ajouté des Thickers de la collection Whimsical pour indiquer le lieu où la photo a été prise. Enfin, j'ai glissé des fleurs en chipboard sous le chevron et j'ai agrémenté ma page de quelques enamel dots blancs.

Good Times

Hello there!

I hope you had a fantastic weekend! I'm starting off this new week with a happy page all about my girls. I used the Amy Tangerine Sunshine and Good Times collection and a sweet picture taken at the funfair a couple of years back.

J'espère que vous avez passé un bon weekend! Je commence cette nouvelle semaine avec une page pleine de gaieté consacrée à mes filles. J'ai utilisé la collection Sunshine and Good Times d'Amy Tangerine ainsi qu'une photo prise à la fête foraine il y a quelques années.

My idea for this layout was to create half circles on the edges of the page using paper hearts. So I started by drawing and cutting off hearts in several sheets of the Sunshine and Good Times 6x6 paper pad. I then arranged them at the top and at the bottom of the background paper so as to make semicircles.

Pour cette page, j'ai eu envie de créer des demi-cercles avec des cœurs en papier. J'ai donc commencé par tracer et découper des cœurs dans plusieurs feuilles du paper pad Sunshine and Good Times. J'ai ensuite placé mes cœurs en forme de demi-cercles en haut et en bas de la page.

Next I tucked the photo under the paper hearts and I added puffy stickers along the semicircles for the title. I then fussy cut pretty flowers from one of the Sunshine and Good Times patterned papers and I placed them on the edges of the page and under the picture.

J'ai inséré la photo sous les cœurs au centre de la page et j'ai ajouté des puffy stickers le long des demi-cercles pour le titre. J'ai ensuite découpé de jolies fleurs dans un papier à motif de la collection et je les ai placées sur les bords de la page et sous la photo.

I finished embellishing my layout with more paper hearts, a couple of wood buttons from the Shimelle Little by Little collection, some black enamel dots, and a few Sunshine and Good Times puffy hearts.  I just love the whimsy look those colorful hearts give to my layout!

J'ai fini d'embellir ma page avec d'autres cœurs en papier, deux boutons en bois de la collection Little by Little de Shimelle, quelques enamel dots noirs et des puffy stickers Sunshine and Good Times. J'aime beaucoup le côté bohème que ces cœurs colorés apportent à ma page!

I hope you had a fantastic week! I'm stopping by today to share a new page featuring the Be You collection by Pinkfresh Studio and a photo of my youngest girl posing near the Traveling Man sculpture in Dallas last spring. The Be You colors look great with this sweet pic!

J'espère que vous avez passé une bonne semaine! Je suis de passage aujourd'hui pour partager une nouvelle page réalisée avec la collection Be You de Pinkfresh Studio et une photo de ma petite dernière qui prend la pose près de la sculpture du Traveling Man à Dallas. Les couleurs de cette collection vont à merveille avec cette jolie photo!

I love using patterned papers for my backgrounds. Here I went with the Lovely paper to echo the gray bits in the photo. I wanted to spice up the background with colorful triangles and started drawing squares in several 6x6 papers using Be You ephemera pieces as templates. I cut the squares and then cut them again in half diagonally so as to get triangles. After moving my paper triangles around the page for a bit, I finally decided to arrange them like diamonds on my layout.

J'adore utiliser des papiers à motif pour mes fonds. Pour cette page, j'ai choisi le papier Lovely pour aller avec les touches de gris sur la photo. J'ai voulu pimenter un peu le fond avec des triangles colorés et je me suis affairée à dessiner des carrés dans plusieurs feuilles du paper pad en utilisant des découpes de l'ephemera pack Be You comme gabarits. J'ai découpé les carrés que j'ai ensuite à nouveau coupés en deux pour obtenir des triangles. Après avoir essayé différents placements, j'ai finalement décidé de les positionner en losange sur toute la page.

I matted the picture with another 6x6 paper and adhered it in the center of the page with foam squares to make it stand out from the background. I then turned to embellishing the diamonds using Be You die cuts, puffy stickers, wood buttons, and cute tassel bows. For the title, I used a puffy sticker that I placed on the right side of the photo and I also added the location on the other side of the picture using puffy alpha stickers and a journaling card from the ephemera pack. Finally, I wrote the date on a tab that I tucked under the photo and my layout was complete.

J'ai matté la photo avec une feuille du paper pad et je l'ai collée au centre de la page avec des carrés de mousse 3D pour la faire ressortir. Je suis ensuite passée à la partie embellissement et j'ai décoré les losanges avec des die-cuts, des puffy stickers, des boutons en bois et des jolis nœuds de la collection. Pour le titre, j'ai utilisé un puffy sticker que j'ai placé à droite de la photo et j'ai également ajouté le lieu de l'autre côté de la photo avec des lettres autocollantes Be You que j'ai collées sur une carte de l'ephemera pack. Pour terminer, j'ai écrit la date sur un onglet que j'ai glissé sous la photo.

I'd like to share a new layout with you today. I used the Whimsical collection by Paige Evans & Pink Paislee and made a fun page about my little one playing on the swings in our garden a couple of days ago. Love her sweet, happy face!

J''aimerais partager une nouvelle page avec vous aujourd'hui. Je me suis amusée avec la collection Whimsical de Paige Evans & Pink Paislee et j'ai réalisé une page colorée avec une photo de ma petite dernière sur la balançoire de notre jardin il y a quelques  jours. Quelle tête de coquine!

I started my layout by looking for papers that would go with my photo and chose papers 14, 15, 18 and 23. I decided to use Paper 23 for my background and to cut circles in the other ones. I placed my paper circles on the edges of the page to give it a fun and eye-catching look and then adhered the photo with foam squares.

J'ai commencé par chercher des papiers qui iraient avec ma photo et j'ai choisi les papiers 14, 15, 18 et 23. J'ai décidé d'utiliser le papier 23 comme fond et j'ai découpé des cercles dans les trois autres. J'ai placé mes cercles en papier sur les bords de ma page pour lui donner une touche originale et j'ai ensuite collé la photo avec des carrés de mousse 3D.

Time to start embellishing! I topped the picture with a chipboard word for the title and I adorned the circles with tone-on-tone embellies. I used die cuts, chipboard and cardstock stickers, pretty flowers and leaves from the floral embellishment pack, and a cute butterfly charm. I finished my sweet page by adding a couple of Whimsical enamel shapes here and there.

Je suis ensuite passée à la partie embellissement. J'ai surmonté la photo d'un mot en chipboard pour le titre et j'ai décoré les cercles avec des embellissements en ton sur ton. J'ai utilisé des die-cuts, des autocollants en cardstock et en chipboard, des fleurs et des feuilles du floral embellishment pack et une breloque papillon. Pour finir, j'ai ponctué ma page de quelques enamel shapes de la collection.

My Darling

Hello friends!

I hope you had a wonderful week! I'm back with a new layout all about my oldest girl. I used a photo snapped in Venice two years ago and the Wild at Heart collection by Cocoa Vanilla Studio. I'm still in love with this gorgeous line!

J'espère que vous avez passé une excellente semaine! Je suis de retour avec une nouvelle page dédiée à ma fille aînée. J'ai associé une photo prise à Venise il y a deux ans avec la collection Wild at Heart de Cocoa Vanilla Studio. J'aime toujours autant cette belle collection!

I started by looking for a background and chose the Artisan paper with its lovely woodgrain pattern. I decided to spice it up a bit by adding a piece of the beautiful Luscious sheet along the top left corner of the page. I then arranged pretty chipboard frames from the collection on my layout and placed the photo on the right side of the page using foam squares to make it pop.

J'ai commencé par chercher un fond et j'ai opté pour le papier Artisan avec son joli motif boisé. J'ai décidé de le relever un peu en ajoutant un morceau du beau papier floral Luscious le long du coin supérieur gauche. J'ai ensuite disposé des cadres en chipboard de la collection sur ma page et j'ai ajouté la photo à droite avec des carrés de mousse 3D pour la faire ressortir.

Next I got busy adorning the frames with pretty Wild at Heart embellies. I used wood veneer words and hearts, fussy cut butterflies, die cuts, cardstock stickers and a cute flair button. For the title, I used a banner sticker that I framed with photo corners from the ephemera pack. Finally, I topped my picture with a cardstock heart and added a chipboard sticker under the photo.

Je me suis ensuite affairée à décorer les cadres avec de jolis embellissements Wild at Heart. J'ai utilisé des mots et des cœurs en bois, des papillons découpés dans le papier Patchwork, des die-cuts, des autocollants en cardstock et un badge. Pour le titre, j'ai encadré une bannière autocollante avec des coins de photo de l'ephemera pack. Enfin, j'ai surmonté la photo d'un cœur en cardstock et j'ai ajouté un chipboard autocollant juste en dessous.

12 Birthday Card

I hope you're having a great week so far! I'm popping in to share a birthday card I made for my oldest girl who turned 12 yesterday. Yay!

J'espère que vous passez un bon début de semaine! Je suis de passage pour partager une carte d'anniversaire que j'ai faite pour ma fille aînée qui a fêté ses 12 ans hier.

For this card, I used the Horizon collection by Paige Evans & Pink Paislee and started by folding a sheet from the 6x8 paper pad in half to create the base. I then topped my card panel with a rectangle that I cut in another 6x8 paper. I scraped the edges before sticking it down to add detail and texture to my card. I added a half circle that I cut in a colorful paper from the 6x8 paper pad along the right border of the card and I adorned it with pretty Horizon flowers and leaves, cute chipboard hearts and Whimsical foam Thickers that I placed in a frame. I put the finishing touch to my girly card with some white enamel dots.

Pour ma carte, j'ai utilisé la collection Horizon de Paige Evans & Pink Paislee et j'ai commencé par plier une feuille du paper pad en deux pour créer la base. Je l'ai ensuite surmontée d'un rectangle découpé dans une autre feuille du paper pad. J'ai usé les bords du rectangle avec des ciseaux pour donner du détail et de la texture à ma carte. J'ai ajouté un demi-cercle découpé dans une feuille colorée du paper pad le long du bord droit et je l'ai orné de jolies fleurs et feuilles de la collection, de cœurs en chipboard et de Thickers en mousse Whimsical que j'ai disposés dans un cadre. J'ai apporté la touche finale à ma carte avec quelques enamel dots blancs.

I hope you are doing well! I have a brand new layout to share with you today. I played with the beautiful Horizon collection by Paige Evans & Pink Paislee and combined it with a photo of my youngest girl in New Orleans last April. I also used pretty feather dies by Jane Davenport and Spellbinders. I love the dreamy look those feathers give to the page!

J'espère que vous allez bien! J'ai une toute nouvelle page que j'aimerais partager avec vous aujourd'hui. Je me suis amusée avec la belle collection Horizon de Paige Evans et Pink Paislee et je l'ai associée à une photo de ma petite dernière à la Nouvelle Orléans en avril dernier. J'ai également utilisé de jolis dies plumes de Jane Davenport et Spellbinders. J'adore le côté rêveur que ces plumes apportent à la page!

I started my layout by die cutting feathers with the Jane Davenport Fair Feathers dies in light papers from the Horizon 6x8 paper pad. I then decided to use Paper 14 for the background to make my paper feathers stand out. I just love that pretty purple pattern!

J'ai commencé par faire des plumes à l'aide des dies Fair Feathers de Jane Davenport et de papiers clairs du paper pad Horizon. Je suis ensuite partie à la recherche d'un papier de fond et j'ai opté pour le papier 14 afin de faire ressortir les plumes. J'aime beaucoup ce joli motif violet!

My idea for this layout was to create a dreamcatcher with dangling feathers. So I got busy cutting chevrons from the other side of Paper 14 to make the base of my dreamcatcher. Paper 14 is actually my favorite paper from the Horizon collection and I got it twice to be able to use both sides! I distressed the chevrons by scraping the edges with scissors to create a white border and add texture to the page and I placed them at the top of my layout. I then backed the photo with a stripy paper from the Horizon 6x8 paper pad and I adhered it over the chevrons with foam squares to make it pop.

Pour cette page, j'ai voulu créer un attrape-rêves. Je me suis donc affairée à faire la base de l'attrape-rêves en coupant des chevrons dans le papier 14. C'est vraiment mon papier préféré de la collection Horizon et je l'avais pris en double pour pouvoir utiliser les deux côtés! J'ai usé les bords de mes chevrons avec des ciseaux pour créer une bordure blanche et apporter de la texture et je les ai disposés en haut de la page. J'ai ensuite matté la photo avec un papier à rayures du paper pad et je l'ai collée sur les chevrons avec des carrés de mousse 3D pour la mettre en avant.

Next I arranged the feathers at the bottom of the page and added white enamel dots between the chevrons and the feathers to create dangling threads. I finished my travel page by adding pretty Horizon embellies on the chevrons and around the photo: flowers from the floral embellishment pack, chipboard stickers, and the word "dreamer" that I cut from a 6x8 paper and tucked under the picture for the title.

J'ai disposé les plumes en bas de la page et je les ai surmontées d'enamel dots en guise de fils. J'ai terminé ma page en ajoutant de jolis embellissements de la collection sur les chevrons et autour de la photo: quelques belles fleurs, des chipboards autocollants et le mot "dreamer" que j'ai découpé dans une feuille du paper pad et que j'ai glissé sous la photo pour le titre.

Bright Days Ahead

I hope your week is off to a great start! I have a new layout that I'd like to share with you today. I played with the super pretty Willow Lane collection by Maggie Holmes and Crate Paper and I made a page all about my girls using a school photo from a few years back.

J'espère que vous passez un bon début de semaine! J'ai une toute nouvelle page à partager avec vous aujourd'hui. J'ai utilisé la jolie collection Willow Lane sur une page dédiée à mes filles avec une photo prise à l'école il y a quelques années.

To go with my outdoor picture, I decided to use leaves on my layout and got busy drawing and cutting them in several sheets from the Willow Lane 6x8 paper pad. I bent them up a bit for dimension and then arranged them in a circle on the right side of the page. I love using the edges of my layouts to give them a fun and eye-catching look!

Pour aller avec ma photo prise en extérieur, j'ai décidé d'utiliser des feuilles sur ma page et je me suis affairée à les dessiner et les découper dans plusieurs feuilles du paper pad Willow Lane. Je les ai recourbées légèrement pour apporter du relief et je les ai disposées en cercle à droite de la page. J'adore utiliser les bords de mes pages pour leur donner une touche originale!

I backed the photo with another paper from the Willow Lane paper pad and I adhered it in the center of my leaf wreath with foam squares. I added two patterned paper strips on the right side of the picture and then turned to embellishing my layout. I adorned the photo and the leaves with ephemera pieces and cardstock stickers and I placed a few chipboard hearts around the wreath to add a bit of shimmer and shine to the page. I put the final touch to my layout with a few droplets of black ink to echo the dark parts of the photo .

J'ai matté la photo avec une autre feuille du paper pad Willow Lane et je l'ai collée au centre de ma couronne de feuilles avec des carrés de mousse 3D. J'ai ajouté deux bandes de papier à motif à droite de la photo et je suis passée à la partie embellissement. J'ai orné la photo et les feuilles de die-cuts et d'autocollants en cardstock et j'ai placé des cœurs en chipboard autour de la couronne pour apporter une touche scintillante. Enfin, j'ai terminé ma page avec quelques gouttes d'encre noire pour rappeler les parties plus sombres de la photo.
