Sunshine On My Mind

Hi friends!

I hope you had a great week! I'm back with a new layout inspired by the Paper Issues Border Lines challenge that is all about creating a border on a project. For my page, I used the beautiful Willow Lane collection by Maggie Holmes and Crate Paper and a sunny photo of my girls at the beach last summer.

J'espère que vous avez passé une excellente semaine! Je suis de retour avec une nouvelle page inspirée par le Border Lines challenge de Paper Issues pour lequel il faut créer un projet avec une bordure. Pour ma page, j'ai utilisé la belle collection Willow Lane de Maggie Holmes et Crate Paper ainsi qu'une photo ensoleillée des filles à la plage l'été dernier.

I decided to make a frame all around my layout with pretty butterflies that I fussy cut in the Flutter paper. I started by backing the picture with a couple of papers from the 6x8 paper pad and I placed it at the bottom of the page. I then bent my fussy cut butterflies up a bit for dimension and then arranged them all around the background paper.

J'ai décidé de créer un cadre tout autour de ma page avec de jolis papillons découpés dans le papier Flutter. J'ai commencé par matter la photo avec quelques feuilles du paper pad et je l'ai placée en bas de la page. J'ai ensuite plié légèrement mes papillons avant de les disposer tout autour du papier de fond.

For the title, I used cardstock stickers that I placed at the top of the page to close the frame. I also embellished my butterfly border with more cute cardstock stickers and shiny heart Thickers.

Pour le titre, j'ai utilisé des autocollants en cardstock que j'ai placés en haut de la page pour fermer le cadre. J'ai également accompagné mes papillons d'autres jolis autocollants et de quelques cœurs dorés.

Finally, I completed my summery layout by adorning the photo with a few cardstock stickers and a die cut from the ephemera pack. I love the fresh and airy touch those butterflies give to the page!

Enfin, j'ai complété ma page estivale en agrémentant ma photo de quelques autocollants en cardstock et d'une découpe de l'ephemera pack. J'aime le côté frais et léger que ces papillons apportent à la page!

I have a brand new layout to share with you today. I played along with the Paper Issues Sassy Scallops challenge and made a happy page using the Dear Lizzy Stay Colorful collection, a sweet photo of my girls at the funfair a few years back and bright scallops that I made with paper circles.

Je suis de passage aujourd'hui pour partager une toute nouvelle page inspirée par le Sassy Scallops challenge de Paper Issues. J'ai utilisé la collection Stay Colorful de Dear Lizzy, une photo des filles à la fête foraine il y a quelques années ainsi que des festons colorés que j'ai faits avec des cercles en papier.

I started my layout by drawing and cutting circles in several papers from the Stay Colorful 6x6 paper pad to make my scallops. I then cut the cirlces in half, bent them up a bit and decided to arrange them diagonally to add a fun touch to my page. I like how those colorful scallops pop against the light background paper!

J'ai commencé par dessiner et découper des cercles dans plusieurs feuilles du paper pad Stay Colorful pour faire mes festons. J'ai coupé les cercles en deux, je les ai recourbés légèrement et j'ai décidé de les disposer en biais pour apporter une touche originale à ma page. J'aime le contraste entre ces festons colorés et le fond clair!

I adhered the picture with foam squares just above the scallops and added beautiful fussy cut flowers on either side. For the title, I topped my photo with a glittery die-cut phrase. I made a pretty frame in a pink 6x6 paper with a Spellbinders Blooming Garden die and tucked it under the title to make it stand out a bit more.

J'ai collé la photo avec de la mousse 3D juste au-dessus des festons et j'ai ajouté de belles fleurs découpées dans un papier de la collection de chaque côté. Pour le titre, j'ai surmonté ma photo d'une jolie découpe pailletée. J'ai réalisé un cadre dans un papier rose du paper pad Stay Colorful avec un die de la collection Blooming Garden de Spellbinders et je l'ai glissé sous mon titre pour le faire ressortir d'avantage.

I completed my sweet layout by adding a few embellishments around the photo and on the bottom scallops: cute chipboard hearts and crosses, cardstock stickers, and a couple of die cuts. I love the happy and fun look those paper scallops give to the the page!

J'ai terminé ma page en ajoutant quelques embellissements autour de la photo et sur les festons du bas. J'ai utilisé des cœurs et des croix en chipboard, des autocollants en cardstock et quelques découpes de l'ephemera pack. J'adore la gaieté que ces festons colorés apportent à la page!

I hope you had a happy Valentine's Day! I'm back with a new layout inspired by the Paper Issues You Are So Bow-tiful challenge that is all about using bows on a project. For my page, I played with the Pinkfresh Studio Be you collection, a couple of cute tassel bows and a sweet photo of my girls snapped in Verona two years ago.

Je suis de retour avec une nouvelle page inspirée par le You Are So Bow-tiful challenge de Paper Issues pour lequel il faut orner un projet de nœuds. Pour cette page, j'ai utilisé la collection Be You de Pinkfresh Studio ainsi qu'une jolie photo des filles prise à Vérone il y a deux ans.

I went with a fun and simple design and decided to place the photo and the embellies along the bottom left corner of the page. I matted the photo with a couple of papers from the Be You 6x6 paper pad and adhered it with foam squares. I tucked a doily from my stash under the picture and then turned to the embellishing part.

Je suis partie sur une mise en page simple en plaçant la photo et les embellissements le long du coin inférieur gauche de la page. J'ai d'abord matté ma photo avec des papiers du paper pad Be You et je l'ai collée le long du bord gauche avec de la mousse 3D. J'ai glissé un napperon sous la photo et je suis passée à la partie embellissement.

I arranged pretty Be You embellishments along the edges of the page and adhered some of them with foam squares for dimension. I used ephemera pieces, puffy stickers, tassel bows and a cute wood and epoxy button for the title. I finished my layout by adding pink enamel dots and gold foiled puffy stickers here and there.

J'ai disposé de jolis embellissements de la collection au bord de la page et j'en ai collés quelques-uns avec de la mousse 3D pour plus de relief. J'ai utilisé des découpes de l'ephemera pack, des puffy stickers, des nœuds en laine et un bouton en bois pour le titre. J'ai terminé ma page en ajoutant quelques enamel dots roses et des autocollants dorés de la collection ici et là.

Dream

I made this winter page with the beautiful Whimsical collection by Paige Evans and Pink Paislee. I used paper snowflakes to create a dreamcatcher and I embellished it with pretty Whimsical die cuts and stickers. I love how soft this layout looks!

J'ai fait cette page hivernale avec la belle collection Whimsical de Paige Evans et Pink Paislee. J'ai réalisé un attrape-rêves avec des flocons en papier et je l'ai décoré avec des découpes et des autocollants de la collection. J'adore la douceur qui s'en dégage!

You're the Best

I had fun with the awesome Boys Rule line by Cocoa Vanilla Studio for this one. I really enjoyed combining this boy collection with a photo of my girls and layering all those stars!

Je me suis amusée avec la collection Boys Rule de Cocoa Vanilla Studio pour celle-ci. J'ai adoré associer cette collection masculine à une photo des filles et superposer toutes ces étoiles!

Best Friends

For this girly layout, I used the gorgeous Midnight collection by Cocoa Vanilla Studio. I cut the white die cut from the large die cut and backing kit in half and made a wreath with beautiful Midnight embellies.

Pour cette page féminine, j'ai utilisé la superbe collection Midnight de Cocoa Vanilla Studio. J'ai coupé la découpe du "large die cut and backing kit" en deux et j'ai fait une couronne avec de beaux embellissements de la collection.

Automne

I made this fall page using the Pick-Me-Up line by Paige Evans and Pink Paislee. I framed my sweet photo with stitched paper leaves and then adorned my layout with pretty Pick-Me-Up embellishments.

J'ai réalisé cette page d'automne avec la collection Pick-Me-Up de Paige Evans et Pink Paislee. J'ai encadré ma photo avec des feuilles en papier que j'ai cousues et que j'ai ornées de jolis embellissements de la collection.

Little Moments

This is the first layout I made with the Whimsical collection. I fussy cut chevrons and flowers in patterned papers and added a few embellies here and there. I love that purple ombre paper!

C'est la première page que j'ai faite avec la collection Whimsical. J'ai découpé des chevrons et des fleurs dans des papiers à motif et j'ai ajouté quelques embellissements ici et là. J'aime beaucoup ce papier de fond et son dégradé violet!

Italie Mini Album

For this album, I used the beautiful Auburn Lane collection by Pink Paislee and documented our family trip to Italy last year. I'm not much of a mini album maker so I was happy with how it turned out!

Pour cet album, j'ai utilisé la belle collection Auburn Lane de Pink Paislee ainsi que des photos de notre voyage en Italie l'année dernière. Je n'avais pas fait de mini album depuis très longtemps et j'étais plutôt contente du résultat!

Together

I went with black, white and orange for this layout using the More than Words collection by Cocoa Vanilla Studio. I made a scalloped spiral with paper half circles and adorned it with flowers and butterflies from the range.

J'ai réalisé cette page toute en orange, noir et blanc avec la collection More than Words de Cocoa Vanilla Studio. J'ai fait une spirale avec des demi-cercles en papier et je l'ai décorée avec des fleurs et des papillons de la collection.

Precious Little Moments

For this sweet page, I played again with the More than Words collection and placed the embellies and the picture along the bottom right corner of the page. I like that fun design and that cute photo!

Pour celle-ci, je me suis à nouveau amusée avec la collection More than Words et j'ai regroupé les embellissements et la photo le long du coin inférieur droit de la page. J'aime cette mise en page et cette adorable photo!

I made this pretty in pink page with the More than Words line by Cocoa Vanilla Studio and a Halloween snap of my girls. I layered frames on the page and adorned them with beautiful embellishments from the collection. I just love that color combination!

J'ai réalisé cette page toute rose avec la collection More than Words de Cocoa Vanilla Studio et une photo des filles dans leurs déguisements d'Halloween. J'ai superposé des cadres sur ma page et je les ai ornés de beaux embellissements de la collection. J'adore cette association de couleurs!

Here I used the Auburn Lane collection by Pink Paislee and a fall photo of my girls. I placed fussy cut chevrons at the top and at the bottom of the page and topped them with the picture and some embellishments. How beautiful is that wood grain paper?

J'ai placé des chevrons découpés dans un papier en haut et en bas de la page et je les ai surmontés de la photo et de quelques embellissements. Ce papier de fond effet bois est vraiment superbe!

Hello Lovely

I made this layout for Paper Issues' Scraplift Sunday using the Flourish collection by Maggie Holmes and Crate Paper and a sweet photo of my oldest girl back when she was 2 years old. I love those layered paper strips in the center of the page and the beautiful Flourish colors!

J'ai fait cette page pour le Scraplift Sunday de Paper Issues avec la collection Flourish de Maggie Holmes et Crate Paper et une photo de ma fille aînée à deux ans. J'aime beaucoup les bandes de papier superposées au centre de la page et les belles couleurs de la collection Flourish!

Baby Girl Cards

I played with the Pick-Me-Up line by Paige Evans and Pink Paislee to make these sweet baby cards. I topped my card panels with paper butterflies and hearts, used cute foam Thickers for the sentiment and I adorned them with Pick-Me-Up stickers, die cuts, buttons and sequins.

Je me suis amusée avec la collection Pick-Me-Up de Paige Evans et Pink Paislee pour réaliser ces adorables cartes de naissance. J'ai surmonté la base de mes cartes avec des cœurs et des papillons en papier, j'ai utilisé des Thickers en mousse pour le titre et je les ai décorées avec des autocollants, des die-cuts, des boutons et des sequins de la collection.

Girl Gang

For this girly page, I used the Wild Child collection by Pink Paislee and a picture of my girls snapped during a walk a few years back. I layered two colorful papers for the background and placed all the embellies and the photo where the papers meet. So bright and fun!

Pour cette page acidulée, j'ai utilisé la collection Wild Child de Pink Paislee ainsi qu'une photo des filles prise lors d'une balade il y a quelques années. J'ai superposé deux papiers à motif colorés pour le fond et j'ai regroupé les embellissements et la photo à la jonction des deux papiers. J'adore la gaieté de cette page!

Picture Perfect

To go with my summer photo, I created a beach scene on my page with the beautiful More than Words collection by Cocoa Vanilla Studio. I placed half circles at the top and at the bottom of my layout for the sea and the sky and made a sun with a flair button, die cuts and stickers.

Pour aller avec ma photo de plage, j'ai voulu recréer une scène estivale sur ma page avec la belle collection More than Words de Cocoa Vanilla Studio. J'ai placé des demi-cercles en papier en haut et en bas de la page pour le ciel et la mer et j'ai fait un soleil avec un badge, des die-cuts et des autocollants.

Love You

Here I used the Pick-Me-Up collection to make a page all about my girls. I fussy cut beautiful flowers from a 12x12 paper and arranged them in a circle to create a wreath. I also made dangling ornaments with stickers, buttons, Thickers and a bit of stitching.

Sur celle-ci, j'ai utilisé la collection Pick-Me-Up et une photo des filles prise lors de notre voyage en Irlande. J'ai découpé de belles fleurs dans un papier à motif et je les ai disposées en cercle pour former une couronne. J'ai également fait des ornements qui pendent de la couronne avec des autocollants, des boutons, des Thickers et quelques points de couture.

Dream

I made this page for the Paper Issues January Notable Quotable challenge using several Maggie Holmes collections and a photo of my Frenchie wandering on the beach. I love those layers and those pretty colors!

J'ai fait cette page pour le Notable Quotable challenge de janvier de Paper Issues avec plusieurs collections de Maggie Holmes et une photo de ma bouledogue en promenade sur la plage. J'aime beaucoup tous ces papiers superposés à droite de la page et ces jolies couleurs!

Fly Free - Paper Issues

Bonjour!

J'espère que vous passez un bon weekend! Je suis de passage aujourd'hui pour partager une nouvelle page réalisée pour la Spring Crop de Paper Issues. Cette fois, je me suis inspirée du Create a Cluster challenge et j'ai utilisé la belle collection The Bright Side de Fancy Pants ainsi qu'une photo toute récente de ma petite dernière sur la balançoire.

I hope you're having a great weekend! I'm popping in today to share a new layout that I made for the Paper Issues Spring Crop. I played along with the Create a Cluster challenge and used the beautiful The Bright Side collection by Fancy Pants along with a spring photo of my little one on the swing.

Pour le fond, j'ai choisi le joli papier Natural Beauty et j'ai décidé d'utiliser le motif floral comme base pour mon cluster. J'ai matté la photo avec quelques feuilles du paper pad et je l'ai collée sur le papier de fond avec de la mousse 3D. J'ai ensuite relié la photo et le motif floral du fond avec de belles fleurs de l'ephemera pack.

For the background, I went with the pretty Natural Beauty paper and decided to use the floral pattern to create my cluster. I backed the photo with a couple of papers from the 6x6 pad and adhered it on the background with foam squares. I then joined the photo and the floral pattern of the background paper with lovely flowers from the ephemera pack.

J'ai ajouté des découpes de la collection sur et autour de la photo et j'y ai également glissé un onglet avec la date. Pour le titre, j'ai utilisé des autocollants en chipboard que j'ai placés sur une bannière de l'ephemera pack. Enfin, j'ai terminé mon cluster avec quelques enamel shapes de la collection.

Next, I added pretty die cuts on and around the photo and tucked a tab with the date under it. For the title, I used chipboard stickers that I placed on a cute scallop die cut. Finally, I completed my photo cluster with shiny enamel shapes.

Yesss - Paper Issues

La Spring Crop de Paper Issues bat son plein et j'ai une nouvelle page à partager réalisée pour le Let's Celebrate Cassie challenge. Pour ce challenge en l'honneur de Cassie Box, il faut réaliser un projet avec des rayures, des superpositions, des pois, des couleurs vives ou encore de la twine. Pour ma page, j'ai utilisé la collection Sunshine & Good Times d'Amy Tangerine et American Crafts ainsi qu'une photo des filles devant une fresque colorée de Belfast l'année dernière.

The Paper Issues Spring Crop is in full swing and I have a new crop layout to share with you today. I was inspired by the Let's Celebrate Cassie challenge that is all about creating a project using stripes, layers, dots, bright colors or twine in the style of Cassie Box. For my layout, I used the Sunshine & Good Times line by Amy Tangerine & American Crafts and a colorful photo of my girls in front of a mural in Belfast last year.

J'ai commencé par découper des bandes en bas de plusieurs feuilles 30x30 de la collection. Je les ai recourbées légèrement pour apporter du relief et je les ai collées sur le papier de fond. J'ai ensuite matté la photo avec plusieurs feuilles du paper pad et un napperon et je l'ai placée sur mes bandes avec des carrés de mousse 3D. Je l'ai ornée de fleurs, d'un fanion et d'onglets découpés dans le paper pad.

I started by cutting strips at the bottom of several 12x12 papers. I folded them up a bit for dimension and adhered them on the background paper. Next, I backed the photo using colorful papers from the 6x6 pad and a doily from my stash and I placed it on the strips with foam squares. I then adorned it with a pennant, flowers and tabs that I cut in 6x6 papers.

Pour le titre, j'ai utilisé un mot autocollant de la collection que j'ai coupé en deux et que j'ai placé le long d'une bande de part et d'autre de la photo. J'ai terminé ma page en parsemant le fond de boutons en bois Artemio, d'enamel dots et de cœurs autocollants de la collection Millie & June de Fancy Pants.

For the title, I used a puffy word from the Sunshine and Good Times Thickers pack that I cut in half and that I placed along the top strip on either side of the photo. I finished my layout by scattering Artemio wood buttons and Fancy Pants puffy shapes on the page.

Color Me Your Color - Paper Issues

Bonjour!

La Spring Crop de Paper Issues démarre aujourd'hui dans le groupe Facebook Paper Issues Friends and Fans avec de nombreux challenges et des prix à gagner! J'ai été inspirée par le Name That Tune challenge pour lequel il faut réaliser un projet où figurent des paroles de chanson. J'ai utilisé la collection Stay Colorful de Dear Lizzy et American Crafts, une photo des filles dans la piscine gonflable il y a quelques années ainsi que des paroles de la chanson "Call Me" de Blondie.

Are you ready to crop till you drop? The Paper Issues Spring Crop is starting today in the Paper Issues Friends and Fans Facebook group with a lot of fun challenges and prizes too! I played along with the Name That Tune challenge and used lyrics from "Call Me" by Blondie on my layout. I also used the Stay Colorful collection by Dear Lizzy & American Crafts and a summer photo of the girls having fun in the pool a couple of years ago.

J'ai découpé une bande dans la jolie feuille Dream On et je l'ai placée à gauche du papier Radical que j'ai choisi pour le fond. J'ai ensuite collé la photo sur la bande avec des carrés de mousse 3D, j'y ai glissé un napperon et je l'ai ornée d'un papillon de l'ephemera pack et d'un bouton en bois Artemio.

I fussy cut a large strip in the pretty Dream On sheet and placed it on the left side of the Radical paper that I chose for my background. Then I adhered the photo on the strip with foam squares, tucked a doily under it and I adorned it with a cute butterfly from the ephemera pack and an Artemio wood button.

J'ai ensuite superposé des embellissement de la collection à droite de la bande: des fleurs découpées dans la feuille Groovy, des die-cuts et des autocollants. Pour le titre, j'ai utilisé des Thickers noirs de la collection Saturday de Dear Lizzy que j'ai placés à droite de la page le long des embellissements. J'ai également remplacé un "o" par des cœurs autocollants. Enfin, j'ai terminé ma page en ajoutant des puffy dots Millie & June de Fancy Pants et quelques enamel shapes de la collection You Rock de Cocoa Vanilla Studio.

Next, I layered beautiful Stay Colorful embellies on the right-hand side of the scallop strip: fussy cut flowers from the Groovy paper, die cuts and stickers. For the title, I used black Thickers from the Dear Lizzy Saturday line and a couple of heart stickers and I placed them on the right side of the page, all along the embellishments. I put the final touch to my layout with puffy dots from the Fancy Pants Millie & June collection and a couple of enamel shapes from the You Rock line by Cocoa Vanilla Studio.

I hope you're having a great weekend! I have a new layout to share with you today that I made for Paper Issues' Scraplift Sunday. This week, we're lifting a beautiful page by Courtney Sawyer. I used the Flourish collection by Maggie Holmes and Crate Paper as well as a photo of my oldest girl back when she was 2 years old. Here is my lift!

Tout d'abord, j'ai cousu un cadre avec du fil noir sur le papier de fond. J'ai découpé plusieurs bandes dans le paper pad Flourish, j'ai cousu les bords de certaines d'entre elles et je les ai placées au centre de la page.

I started by hand stitching a frame on the background paper with black thread. I cut several strips in papers from the Flourish 6x6 pad, I stitched the borders of a couple of them and placed them in the center of the page.

J'ai matté la photo avec une autre feuille du paper pad et je l'ai collée sur mes bandes avec de la mousse 3D. Pour le titre, j'ai utilisé une découpe en calque de l'ephemera pack ainsi qu'un bouton en bois Artemio. Pour rappeler les découpes blanches de la page de Courtney, j'ai glissé deux napperons sous mes bandes de papier.

I matted the picture with another 6x6 paper and adhered it on the strips with foam squares. For the title, I used a vellum piece from the Flourish ephemera pack as well as an Artemio wood button. To echo the white cut files on Courtney's page, I tucked a couple of doilies under my paper strips.

Je suis ensuite passée à  la partie embellissement. J'ai placé des mots autocollants de la collection Chasing Dreams ainsi que des die-cuts Flourish sur les bandes de papier. J'ai également ajouté quelques papillons découpés dans le paper pad Flourish et des puffy dots de la collection Millie & June de Fancy Pants. Enfin, j'ai apporté la touche finale à ma page avec des gouttes d'encre noire.

Then I moved on to the embellishing and added a couple of pretty fussy cut butterflies from the Flourish 6x6 pad as well as puffy dots from the Fancy Pants Millie & June line. I also placed Flourish die cuts and word stickers from the Chasing Dreams collection on the paper strips. Finally, I put the finishing touch to my layout with droplets of black ink.

Sparkle & Shine - Paper Issues

Je suis de retour avec une nouvelle page que vous pouvez retrouver aujourd'hui sur le blog de Paper Issues. J'ai participé au Notable Quotable challenge d'avril et je me suis inspirée des fleurs mais aussi de la citation pour mon titre. J'ai utilisé la belle collection Be You de Pinkfresh Studio ainsi qu'une photo de ma petite dernière. Voici ma page!

I'm back with a new layout that is up today on the Paper Issues blog. I played along with the Notable Quotable challenge and took inspiration from the flowers and also from the quote for my title. I used the beautiful Be You collection by Pinkfresh Studio along with a photo of my little miss sunshine. Here is my page!

Pour le fond, j'ai choisi le papier Real avec sa jolie bordure de fleurs. Parfait pour aller avec cette citation printanière! J'ai cousu deux cercles concentriques sur le papier de fond avec du fil bleu foncé. J'ai ensuite matté la photo avec une feuille du paper pad et je l'ai collée à gauche de la page avec des carrés de mousse 3D.

For the background, I picked the Real paper with its pretty floral border. Perfect to go with this spring-inspired quote! I hand stitched two concentric circles on the background paper using dark blue thread. I then backed the photo with a paper from the 6x6 pad and adhered it on the left-hand side of the page with foam squares.

J'ai glissé un napperon sous la photo ainsi que quelques embellissements de la collection: des découpes, un joli nœud et un onglet sur lequel j'ai tamponné la date. Pour le titre, j'ai utilisé des lettres autocollantes de la collection et je les ai placées le long du petit cercle.

Next, I tucked a doily under the picture, along with some Be You die cuts, a cute tassel bow and a tab on which I stamped the date. For the title, I used shiny puffy alpha stickers from the range and placed them along the smaller circle.

Je suis ensuite passée au grand cercle que j'ai orné de jolis embellissemenst Be You: des puffy stickers, des boutons en bois, des die-cuts et deux papillons que j'ai découpés dans des feuilles du paper pad. J'ai collé quelques embellissements et la photo avec de la mousse 3D pour plus de relief. J'ai terminé ma page avec des étoiles et des losanges autocollants de la collection.

Then I moved on to the big circle and adorned it with pretty Be You embellies: puffy stickers, wood and epoxy buttons, die cuts and a couple of butterflies that I cut in 6x6 papers. I adhered some embellies and the photo with foam squares for dimension. I finished my layout with puffy diamond stickers and stars from the alpha sticker sheet that I scattered on the page.
