You are my bright side

J'espère que votre semaine a bien démarré! J'ai une nouvelle page à partager avec vous aujourd'hui, inspirée du Try It Tuesday challenge de Paper Issues. Ce mois-ci, Amanda Baldwin nous demande d'utiliser du washi tape sur un projet de manière créative et originale. Pour ma page, j'ai utilisé la belle collection Oh My Heart de Paige Evans et Pink Paislee, du washi tape My Mind's Eye et Glitz Design et une photo de ma petite dernière sur la plage il y a deux ans.

I hope your week is off to a great start! I have a new layout to share with you inspired by the Paper Issues Try It Tuesday challenge. This month, Amanda Baldwin asks us to use tape on a project in a creative way. For my page, I used the beautiful Oh My Heart line by Paige Evans and Pink Paislee, washi tape by My Mind's Eye and Glitz Design and a cute pic of my little one on the beach a couple of years back.

J'ai choisi le joli papier en dégradé de bleu de la collection pour le fond et je suis partie sur l'idée d'un soleil en utilisant des bandes de washi tape pour les rayons et en découpant des cercles dans plusieurs feuilles du paper pad Oh My Heart que j'ai superposés dans le coin supérieur gauche de la page.

I picked the pretty blue ombré paper from the range for the background and decided to make a shining sun design using washi tape for the sunbeams and circles that I cut in several 6x6 Oh My Heart papers and layered on the top left hand corner of the page.

J'ai matté la photo avec un autre morceau de papier du paper pad et je l'ai collée au centre de mon soleil avec de la mousse 3D pour la faire ressortir un peu plus. J'ai placé une découpe sous la photo pour le titre et j'ai ajouté quelques embellissements: un napperon, des fleurs découpées dans un papier à motif et des puffy stickers de la collection. Enfin, j'ai apporté une touche scintillante avec quelques sequins transparents que j'ai disposés sur les rayons.

I matted the photo with another 6x6 Oh My Heart paper and adhered it in the center of my paper sun with foam squares to make it stand out a bit more. I placed a die cut under the pic for the title and added more embellies on and around the photo: a doily, fussy cut flowers and puffy stickers from the collection. I finished off my layout with some transparent sequins that I placed on the washi beams to add a bit of shine.
