J'espère que vous avez passé un bon Noël. :)

J'ai une nouvelle page à partager avec vous aujourd'hui, probablement la dernière de l'année! Elle est centrée sur ma chienne et son goût pour les balades et l'aventure. Cette page fait la part belle aux papiers, avec différentes collections Amy Tangerine.

Pour réaliser le fond, j'ai commencé par tracer neuf cœurs sur le cardstock avec un crayon gris et un gabarit en papier. J'ai ensuite percé les contours des cœurs à l'aide d'une épingle, effacé les marques de crayon et cousu chaque cœur avec des fils de couleurs différentes.

Pour les lettres, j'ai commencé par découper la photo en forme de E et je m'en suis servie comme modèle pour dessiner les autres lettres à la même taille dans différents papiers. J'ai également découpé des fleurs et des cœurs dans des papiers imprimés. J'ai collé légèrement tous mes éléments sur la page, en courbant les bords, de manière à apporter un peu de relief. J'ai terminé en faisant quelques taches à l'encre noire.

I am back with a new layout, probably the last one of the year, starring my furry adventurer and bright papers from various Amy Tangerine collections.

I started with working on the background by drawing nine hearts on the cardstock using a pencil and a homemade paper template. I then pierced the hearts' outlines with a pin, I erased the pencil marks and stitched each heart using different colors of thread.

To make the letters, I first cut the photo in a E shape and used it as a reference to draw the other letters the same size. I also cut flowers and hearts in pieces of patterned paper. To stick the different elements on the page, I lightly curved their edges and only used a tiny bit of glue to give some dimension to the layout. I finished by making a few stains using black ink.

- embellissements / embellishments: encre / ink (Izink Pigment Caviar), fil / thread.
