J'espère que vous avez passé un excellent weekend et un très bon mois de juillet!

Je commence cette nouvelle semaine et le mois d'août avec une page où figurent une photo des filles devant notre maison prise il y a quelques jours ainsi que trois collections de Pink Paislee: Cedar Lane, C'est La Vie et Fancy Free.

Sur cette page, j'ai voulu reproduire un paysage avec des maisonnettes pour faire écho à la photo. J'ai commencé par réaliser un cadre sur le cardstock blanc à l'aide de bandes découpées en bas de quelques feuilles 30x30 de la collection Fancy Free. Je me suis ensuite lancée dans la réalisation de ma scénette façon Petite Maison dans la Prairie en plaçant des demi-cercles découpés dans différents papiers à motif en haut et en bas du tableau pour le sol et le ciel. La photo fait office de maison, le tag de garage, une découpe en papier Cedar Lane de cheminée et des découpes en acétate Fancy Free de fumée. J'ai réalisé une autre maisonnette ainsi que les toits avec la feuille 06 de Fancy Free. Enfin, j'ai décoré les maisons avec des découpes, ajouté une découpe en acétate dans le ciel en guise de soleil et de titre et parsemé ma prairie en papier de fleurs découpées dans le papier 11 de Fancy Free.

I'm starting this new week and the month of August with a layout featuring a photo of the girls snapped in front of our house a couple of days ago as well as three Pink Paislee collections: Cedar Lane, C'est La Vie and Fancy Free.

I wanted to create a scene with houses to echo the picture. So, I started by making a frame on the white cardstock using branding strips from Fancy Free. I then got busy making my Little House on the Prairie picture by placing patterned paper semi-circles at the top and at the bottom of the frame to recreate the ground and the sky. The photo serves as a house, the tag as a garage, a Cedar Lane die-cut as a chimney and Fancy Free acetate die-cuts as smoke. I cut another house and the roofs from Fancy Free Paper 06. Finally, I adorned the houses with die-cuts, placed an acetate die-cut in the sky to make the sun and the title and sprinkled flowers from Fancy Free Paper 11 on the paper prairie.
