Epic Fall - Cocoa Vanilla Studio

Vous pouvez me retrouver aujourd'hui sur le blog de Cocoa Vanilla Studio avec une nouvelle page mélangeant les collections You Rock, Wild at Heart et Make A Wish. Cette semaine va être consacrée au thème des saisons sur le blog. Même si l'été est presque là, j'ai opté pour une page automnale avec plein de jolies feuilles et une photo de ma petite dernière prise en octobre dernier.

I'm up on the Cocoa Vanilla Studio blog with a new page mixing You Rock with some Wild at Heart and Make A Wish supplies. This week is going to be all about seasons on the CVS blog. Even though summer is almost here, I felt like making a fall layout with a lot of pretty leaves and a pic of my little one snapped last October.

Tout d'abord, j'ai tracé des feuilles à l'aide de gabarits sur plusieurs papiers de la collection You Rock: Starshine, In Line, This Way, Stripped, Random et Galactic. Je les ai découpées et cousues en ajoutant des sequins transparents sur certaines d'entre elles. Je les ai ensuite placées sur le joli papier Experimental que j'ai choisi comme fond. Les belles couleurs et la touche boisée de cette collection sont parfaites pour les photos d'automne!

I started by drawing leaves using templates on several You Rock papers: Starshine, In Line, This Way, Stripped, Random and Galactic. I cut and handstitched them, adding some transparent sequins on some of them. I then placed the leaves on the gorgeous Experimental paper that I picked for my background. The beautiful colors and woodgrain of this collection are just perfect for fall photos!

J'ai matté la photo avec un morceau du papier Plus One et j'y ai ajouté des enamel shapes You Rock, une découpe de l'ephemera pack et un onglet autocollant de la collection Wild at Heart. Je l'ai ensuite collée au centre de la page avec de la mousse 3D pour la faire ressortir.

I matted the pic with a piece of the Plus One paper and adorned it with You Rock enamel shapes, a die cut from the ephemera pack and a tab from the Wild at Heart accessory stickers sheet. I then adhered it in the center of the page with foam squares to make it stand out.

Pour le titre, j'ai utilisé un joli rubber charm de la collection You Rock ainsi que des lettres autocollantes Make A Wish que j'ai placés sur une feuille. J'ai décoré les autres feuilles avec des mots autocollants et une découpe You Rock, un die-cut et un badge Wild at Heart et un strass de la collection Make A Wish.

For the title, I used a cute rubber charm from the You rock collection along with Make A Wish alphabet stickers and I placed them on a leaf. I adorned the other leaves with a You Rock die cut and word stickers, a Wild at Heart flair button and a paper piece from the ephemera pack and a shiny Make A Wish rhinestone.

Pour apporter la touche finale à ma page, j'ai orné le fond d'embellissements des trois collections: des enamel shapes You Rock, des découpes et des coeurs en bois Wild at Heart ainsi que des sequins Make A Wish.

To finish off my fall page, I added embellies from the three collections on the background: You Rock enamel shapes, Wild at Heart die cuts and wood veneer hearts as well as Make A Wish sequins.

Je me suis beaucoup amusée à mélanger ces trois collections et je trouve qu'elles vont très bien ensemble! J'espère que ma page vous a plu et qu'elle vous donnera des idées!

I had a lot of fun mixing these three collections and I think they go beautifully together! I hope my layout inspires to mix and match CVS lines too!
