Hi friends!

I hope you are doing well! I have a brand new layout to share with you today. I'm just coming back from a trip to the southern United States and I had to scrap this fun photo of my rock'n roll girl snapped in Austin. To go with my sweet pic, I used the colorful Horizon collection by Paige Evans and Pink Paislee.

J'espère que vous allez bien! Je rentre tout juste d'un voyage au sud des Etats-Unis et il fallait que je scrappe cette photo de ma petite rockeuse prise à Austin au Texas. Pour aller avec ma photo, j'ai utilisé la collection Horizon de Paige Evans et Pink Paislee.

I started my page by looking for patterned papers for the background. I picked the light Paper 20 and paired it with a large strip from the colorful Paper 03 that would go great with my photo. I then matted the picture with a couple of papers from the 6x8 paper pad and I placed it in the center of the page. My idea was to echo the colorful beams on the right side of the page with hearts. So I got busy drawing and cutting hearts in several 6x8 papers and I arranged them on the left side of my layout so as to create rays. I bent them up a bit before sticking them down for dimension.

J'ai commencé par chercher des papiers pour mon fond. J'ai opté pour le papier 20 que j'ai associé avec une bande du papier 03. Ces couleurs vives vont parfaitement avec ma photo! J'ai ensuite matté la photo avec quelques feuilles du paper pad Horizon et je l'ai placée au centre de la page. Mon idée était de reproduire les rayons colorés du papier avec des cœurs. J'ai donc dessiné et découpé des cœurs dans plusieurs feuilles du paper pad et je les ai disposés à gauche de ma page. Je les ai pliés légèrement avant de les coller pour apporter du relief.

For the title, I used a chipboard word that I placed on the left side of the page with my heart beams. I then turned to embellishing my layout and clustered pretty Horizon embellies around the photo. I used die cuts, chipboard stickers, and flowers from the floral embellishment pack. I finished my bright page by adding typed journaling strips on a couple of tags.

Pour le titre, j'ai utilisé un mot en chipboard que j'ai placé avec les cœurs à gauche de la page. J'ai ensuite décoré ma page en regroupant les embellisements autour de la photo. J'ai utilisé des die-cuts, des autocollants en chipboard et de jolies fleurs. Enfin, j'ai ajouté des bandes de journaling sur deux découpes de l'ephemera pack.
