Back to school

Bonjour!

Je suis de retour aujourd'hui avec une nouvelle page mettant en scène des photos des filles fin prêtes pour leur premier jour d'école il y a deux semaines.

J'ai à nouveau utilisé la très jolie collection Wonder de Crate Paper en découpant les lettres ainsi que les bandes en haut et en bas de la page dans quelques feuilles du paper pad et en ajoutant quelques stickers et des découpes en papier.

Au final, j'aime beaucoup le contraste entre, d'un côté, les taches d'encre noire et les photos aux couleurs voilées (par un filtre que j'ai ajouté avec Pixlr-o-matic) et, de l'autre côté, les motifs vintage et les teintes douces des papiers.

I am back today with a new page centered on pictures of the girls ready for their first day of school two weeks ago.

I played again with the lovely and playful Wonder collection by Crate Paper. I cut the letters and the strips of paper at the bottom and at the top of the page from sheets of the 6x6 pad. I also used some stickers and a couple of die cuts from the ephemera pack.

In the end, I really like the contrast between, on the one hand, the black ink stains and the photos with their hushed colors (thanks to a filter I added using Pixlr-o-matic) and, on the other hand, the vintage patterns and soft colors of the papers.

- embellissements / embellishments: autocollants & découpes en papier / stickers and die cuts (Crate Paper-Wonder), encre / ink (Izink Pigment Caviar).
