Hello sweetheart

Bonjour!

Je commence la semaine avec une page estivale toute en encre, en tampons, en points de couture et en stickers. Pour la réaliser, j'ai utilisé quelques produits du kit du mois d'août de Scrap Kits & Co (papiers, tampons et brad) et j'ai choisi une photo de ma fille aînée dans la piscine d'un parc où nous sommes allés plusieurs fois cet été.

J'ai ajouté quelques petits détails fun sur ma page avec notamment le soleil ananas réalisé avec un carré de calque que j'ai coupé deux fois en diagonale pour obtenir quatre triangles que j'ai reliés avec un brad. Sous la photo, j'ai découpé les contours de certains motifs au cutter de précision pour y insérer une bande de papier à motif baleines donnant ainsi l'impression qu'elles voguent sur les flots!


Hi there!

To start off this new week, I have a summery layout to share with you, with lots of ink, stickers, stamping and stitching. To make it, I used some goodies from the August kit by Scrap Kits & Co as well as a picture of my eldest daughter in the pool of a playground we went to several times this summer.

I added a couple of fun details to the page with, for instance, the sun I made with a square of patterned vellum I cut diagonally to get four triangles that I joined using a brad. Under the photo, I cut some slits in the patterned paper using a precision craft cutter and I inserted a strip of the Summer Sun Whales paper by Fancy Pants. Now these lovely whales can swim freely!

- embellissements / embellishments: thickers (American Crafts), autocollants / stickers (Crate Paper-Wonder; Seven Paper-Amelia & Baxter), brad (Teresa Collins-Wanderlust), tampons / stamps (American Crafts, October Afternoon, Technique Tuesday), encre / ink (Izink Pigment Gold, Versafine Onyx Black), encre en spray / spray ink, fil / thread, stylo noir / black pen.
