She belongs with the wildflowers - Cocoa Vanilla Studio

Je suis de retour avec une nouvelle page que vous pouvez retrouver aujourd'hui sur le blog de Cocoa Vanilla Studio. En ce moment, nous mettons l'accent sur la toute nouvelle collection Wild at Heart et, pour ma page, j'ai utilisé de magnifiques  papiers et découpes de la collection ainsi qu'une photo de ma petite dernière flânant dans le jardin au printemps dernier.

I am back with a new layout that I'm sharing today on the Cocoa Vanilla Studio blog. We'll be putting the spotlight on the brand new Wild at Heart line for the next couple of weeks and, for my page, I used beautiful papers and ephemera from the collection along with a photo of my wild at heart girl wandering in the garden last spring.

J'ai commencé ma page avec l'idée d'utiliser la jolie découpe She belongs with the wildflowers comme titre et j'ai donc décidé de créer un scène printanière à l'intérieur d'un cadre avec les beaux motifs floraux de la collection.

While I was going through the ephemera pack, I came across the cute 'She belongs with the wildflowers' die cut that was a perfect match for this sweet pic of my little one. With this die cut in mind for the title, I decided to create a spring scene in a frame using the gorgeous Wild at Heart florals.

Pour aller avec les couleurs vives de ma photo, j'ai choisi le papier Artisan et ses belles touches d'aquarelle pour le fond. J'ai découpé les deux parties du cadre dans les papiers Luscious et Mariposa, je les ai incurvés légèrment et les ai placés au centre de la page, sur un morceau du joli papier calque au motif floral. J'adore l'auréole colorée que forment les bords du papier de fond autour du cadre!

To echo the bright colors of the photo, I picked the Artisan paper and its pretty splashes of watercolors for my background. I cut out the two parts of the frame from the Luscious and Mariposa papers, curved them gently and placed them in the center of the page, on a piece of the lovely floral vellum sheet. I love how the colorful borders of the Artisan paper make a beautiful halo around the frame!

J'ai collé la photo dans le cadre avec de la mousse 3D pour la faire ressortir un peu plus et je me suis ensuite affairée à décorer ma page. J'ai découpé de superbes fleurs dans le papier Luscious et je les ai insérées dans deux coins opposés du cadre et sous la photo.

I adhered the photo in the frame with foam squares to make it pop a bit more and then got busy embellishing. I fussy cut beautiful flowers from the Luscious paper and tucked them in two opposite corners of the frame and under the pic.

J'ai ajouté d'autres fleurs de l'ephemera pack et j'ai placé des coins en papier, de jolis papillons et le titre, que j'ai orné de feuilles en papier, sur le cadre. J'ai décoré quelques fleurs avec des enamel dots pailletés et ma page était terminée!

I added more flowers from the ephemera pack and placed paper corners, pretty butterflies and the title, that I adorned with paper leaves, on the frame. I sprinkled sparkly enamel dots on some of the flowers and my little scene was complete!
