Love You - Cocoa Vanilla Studio

Cette semaine, nous mettons les autocollants à l'honneur sur le blog de Cocoa Vanilla Studio! Aujourd'hui, c'est à mon tour de partager ma page réalisée avec la superbe collection Wild at Heart ainsi qu'avec une photo de ma fille aînée prise à Turin au printemps dernier.

It's all about stickers on the Cocoa Vanilla Studio blog this week! Today, it's my turn to share my take using the gorgeous Wild at Heart collection, including chipboard and accessory stickers, along with a photo of my oldest daughter snapped in Turin last spring.

Comme je n'avais pas d'idée précise en tête, j'ai commencé par rassembler le matériel que je voulais utiliser et qui irait bien avec ma photo: les jolis papiers Luscious et Grow Wild seraient parfaits pour le fond et j'allais sûrement incorporer quelques belles fleurs du papier Memento!

As I had no precise idea or design in mind , I started by gathering the supplies that I wanted to use and that would go with my pic. The gorgeous Luscious and Grow Wild papers would be great for the background and I just had to include pretty fussy cut flowers from the Memento sheet!

Après un petit temps de réflexion, j'ai opté pour un design circulaire. J'ai dessiné un cercle en haut du papier Luscious que j'ai ensuite percé avec une épingle. Après avoir effacé les traits de crayon, j'ai cousu le cercle avec du fil blanc. J'ai ensuite découpé une partie de la feuille et je l'ai mattée avec le papier Grow Wild.

After a little brainstorming session, I decided to go for a circular design. I drew a circle at the top of the Luscious paper, poked holes with a pin following the pencil lines, erased them and stitched along using white thread. I then cut off a part of the Luscious sheet and backed it with the Grow Wild paper.

J'ai matté la photo avec une carte découpée dans le papier Patchwork et je l'ai collée au centre du cercle avec de la mousse 3D. Je l'ai accompagnée de fleurs découpées dans la feuille Memento et de cadres, dont l'un provient de la feuille d'autocollants en chipboard. Je trouve que les couleurs de cette collection fonctionnent vraiment bien avec ma photo et la font ressortir!

Next, I matted the photo with a card from the Patchwork cut apart sheet and sticked it in the center of the stitched circle with foam squares. I framed it with a couple of fussy cut flowers from the Memento paper and chipboard frames, including one from the chipboard stickers sheet. The Wild at Heart color palette is just perfect for this lovely photo of my girl!

Pour le titre, j'ai utilisé des lettres autocollantes en chipboard que j'ai placées sur le cercle. J'adore la douceur de ces lettres en ton sur ton! J'ai ensuite continué à embellir ma page avec d'autres autocollants Wild at Heart. J'ai paré la photo d'un fanion et d'un onglet provenant de la feuille d'accessory stickers et j'ai collé des cœurs et des mots autocollants sur les cadres. J'ai également ajouté des papillons en chipboard sur les fleurs et glissé une étiquette autocollante sous la photo.

For the title, I used chipboard alphabet stickers that I placed on the stitched circle. I love how soft these pink on pink letters look! I then added more Wild at Heart stickers to embellish my page. I adorned the pic with a pennant and a tab from the accessory stickers sheet and I placed chipboard hearts and word stickers on the frames. I also added chipboard butterflies on the fussy cut flowers and tucked a label sticker under the photo.

J'avais l'impression qu'il manquait un petit quelque chose à ma page et j'ai donc décidé de mettre à contribution le reste de la feuille Luscious que j'avais déjà utilisée pour le fond. J'ai découpé l'angle qu'il me restait en deux, j'ai replié légèrement les bords et je l'ai placé sur ma page, mettant cette fois en avant le motif floral. Enfin, j'ai ajouté une petite touche scintillante à ma page avec quelques enamel dots de la collection.

I felt like my page needed a little something more and I decided to use the scraps from the Luscious paper I used for the background. I cut the corner I had left in half, folded the edges a little bit and I placed it on my layout with the floral pattern facing up. Last but not least, I added a bit of shine to my page with a couple of Wild at Heart enamel dots. These sparkly beauties are the perfect finishing touch!
