You Rock, Girl - Cocoa Vanilla Studio

J'espère que vous passez un excellent week-end! Je suis de retour avec une nouvelle page que vous pouvez retrouver aujourd'hui sur le blog de Cocoa Vanilla Studio. J'ai associé la collection You Rock avec une photo de ma petite dernière prise à Vérone au printemps dernier.

I hope you're enjoying your weekend! I'm back with a girly page that is up today on the Cocoa Vanilla Studio blog. I used the You Rock collection along with a cool pic of my little one snapped in Verona last spring. She rocks, right?!

Je suis partie sur l'idée du color blocking pour rappeler le mur de brique sur la photo. Pour ce faire, j'ai utilisé les washi stickers de la collection que j'ai collés au centre d'un cardstock blanc. J'ai matté la photo avec la papier Stripped et je l'ai placée sur la droite de mon mur de washi tape avec de la mousse 3D pour la faire ressortir.

To echo the brick wall on the pic, I decided to go for a color blocking design using the cute You Rock washi stickers that I placed on a white cardstock sheet. I matted the photo with the Stripped paper and adhered it on the right hand side of my washi wall with foam squares to make it pop.

J'ai placé le cardstock sur le papier Plus One et son joli motif boisé. Ça fait un joli cadre pour ma page et ça lui apporte une touche chaleureuse et un côté vintage qui me plaît bien!

I backed the white cardstock with the Plus One sheet and its pretty wood grain. I love how it nicely frames the page and gives it more warmth!

Pour le titre, j'ai utilisé un des mots en bois You Rock avec des lettres autocollantes de la collection Hello Lovely et je les ai placés près de la photo. J'ai même trouvé un moyen d'utiliser le rubber charm "That's my boy" en barrant le mot "boy" avec un enamel shape!

For the title, I used one of the You Rock awesome wood veneer words, along with Hello Lovely alphabet stickers, and I placed them near the photo. I even found a way to use the "That's my boy" rubber charm by crossing out the word "boy" with an enamel shape!

J'ai ensuite décoré la page avec de jolis embellissements de la collection: des étoiles en bois et en papier, un badge et des découpes de l'ephemera pack. J'ai également paré la photo de coins en papier et d'un fanion en bois.

My next step was to embellish the page with pretty embellies from the range: wood veneer and paper stars, a lovely flair button and die cuts from the ephemera pack. I also adorned the pic with paper corners and a wood veneer pennant.

J'ai ensuite tamponné la date sur une étiquette autocollante de la collection, je l'ai glissée sous la photo et j'ai terminé ma page avec quelques taches d'encre noire.

I stamped the date on a tab from the accessory stickers sheet, tucked it under the photo and I finished off my layout with droplets of black ink.
